If you see me wallahi you go think say I be old officer. If you calculate the mileage my leg done waka this year because of army issue if e never pass (300,000mileage) make I know wetin cause am, promises here and there just like final year students when uncle them go say send ur CV and go de make promises for job upon graduation. Some of them(Offrs) said I shouldn't worry when the time comes they will see to it now wey form don show the thing be me like film trick when my calls come de enter mysterious call divert, some self de out-rightly switched off till this very moment , i de call some sef because of the referee form them de think say na for the "runs" . Na so wan kain sense come fall on me "what will be will be" play ur own part and leave the rest for God. A Captain was very straight forward with me, the guy even know the current military secretary sef he told me that I should just commit everything to God's hands, that he himself got the job without knowing even the ranks in the army. Me kuku reason the thing sef, I know 3 course 44 officers that didn't know anybody but now they are commissioned officers while the son of an Air force General couldn't make it, the guy sef they follow us hussle DSSC Air Force(though me think say him papa no want make e join force kawai). Even the current GOC of 325BSG kaduna(NAF) I know the man personally, in fact I occasionally acted as his PA when I was interning with Airforce the man no de use me play, but I don make up my mind not to reach-out to any man again in the name of assistance so that when I go de by God's grace encourage DSSC 26/SSC46 aspirants and tell them about my Odyssey,the testimony go too sweet.
But wait ooo oga sheriff you mean say some of ur coursemates don de pile casualties now now, when career never even start?

Not taking sides but this mentality is a massive problem. Just because something is old does not mean it should not change.

That is how our ancestors ended up fighting artillery with dane guns. Some of Lebete's critiques were apt some of the arguments against his stance also had their merits. Let us learn from both and not encourage stagnation.

The army has a ton of areas it should improve in, those of us who want to become officers should keep that in mind. Unlike Lebete though, hopefully, I have the liver to endure, get to the top and change things.

After all, guy, as you don comot so, the people wey replace you, dem fit worse pass you sef.

If this is actually the reason u wanna join and you're not just being hypocritical, then I must say I admire your altruism & patriotism, unfortunately I entered with the same mindset & I was frustrated outta d system. The Army is an institution(occultic), the army won't change for you, you're the one the army will bend and change by force.

99% of my coursemates joined the Army to bully others or to escape unemployment. I was d odd one out that joined with a pure and clean heart. I checked myself out of training eventually when I couldn't stomach d garbage anymore.

As I said majority of those joining are doing so out of frustration- @least 95% of them.

If you're truly joining to change the NA, I'll advice you to think twice b4 wasting your time and life. I just went there to waste away 4months of my precious life and I'm yet to get my balance since then. I even forgot the Dosage of common drugs like Ciprofloxacin, Metronidazole etc, cos na only Army job we dey serve for training Kula.

It's a real had I known situation. I repeat, if what you wrote above is truly your reason for joining the army, pls don't try it my brother, you will definitely regret it. It's better to join the Airforce & Navy cos they are still civilised, Armyjob na mad man job o!

I don't believe we are even discussing this issue. Simply put, you don't learn what is taught at NDA for 5years no matter how long you spend at other universities.

War is not about "learning". Some are good at it, natural geniuses of war, regardless of their training. Napoleon was a "RC", Wellington was a "SSC" both of them ended up as superlative officers because one is not trained to win wars. You either can or you cannot.

So forget all this talk of suffering, officers from all classes will get the chance to strut their stuff, for the sake of the nation, the best should be the one advanced.

For the record, I'm not insulting anyone, I assume we're just airing opinions here.

c just login 2 acc nd first fill nd submit ur medical form wen u done wif dat go straight 2 ur dash board nd click on course reg, d courses ur r 2 offer wud be seen nd ur click on d ones u wud offer, then u submit. u can edit it if d need arises.

Please Guys, I'm a History and Strategic Studies hopeful. I have finished screening, paid my school fees and faculty and departmental dues. My problems one are:

1. I was given two files, I've submitted one to the department(Dr. Osemeka), I however don't know when to submit the second to the faculty, the man at the registry, I don't know his wahala. Please when is the faculty of arts accepting folders?\

2. How do I print the SIF form, I'm not in Lagos currently, is it something I can do personally or is the SIF form the remaining screening form the screening officers signed?
