Yorubas has always been the problem of this country. If not skull mining, it will be betrayal, if not betrayal, it will be corruption . Please remove Yoruba from this map and see Nigeria moving forward overnight. This set of tribe are always in support of evil and crimes wherever they find themselves
So the Enugu part Utomi said was story for another day also happen in South West, maybe he meant Enugu -Akoko state I believe. It's a normal thing for governments in states to undo all their predecessors had done especially if they are not in the same party

This is the singular reason most politicians aside prosecution will rather invest outside the country or outside their state, so that no opponent comes to power tomorrow and destroy everything for them. Imagine,he got those things the right way but because he stood his ground on some opposing issues, his businesses and those eating from it are crippled.

The blue patterned uniform police across the nature now wear is their do called camo. Normal police uniform is blue top on black trousers or black top on black trouser. Mopol had a slight variation of light shade of green trouser.

A governor who abolished and has re-established the same thing he said is not good for the people. Leaders indeed. No plan.
He didn't for see the outcome of their initial plan of bringing Sanusi and cancelling the now reinstated Emirates. He didn't know there was going to be a federal might behind Ado Bayero. He did all he could and it's obvious now he's helpless. I strongly believe this is one of the conditions given to him. For me, if you don't like Bayero, remove him without reverting to thr old that you are now going back and forth. We wait to see if Ado Bayero will now be left in the cold.

There is actually nothing like police camouflage, that blue cloth is just uniform. The essence of camo is to blend with a particular environment which is why tbe army has different shades like desert camo. Please where does s blue uniform camouflage except the sky, it's just pure inferiority complex
LocalFARMERS:
This is hilarious. Fulani Bandits used Police Camouflage to sew native Clothes. I wonder what the Police authority will say about this grin grin grin

This is very commendable but u personally don't see a need for it going by same distribution in Ekiti State during the first tenure of Governor Kayode Fayemi. The laptop were used by the teachers' children to watch movies or something not the intended reason for sharing. It only becomes reasonable if they are truly used to prepare lesson notes and can share such note in soft copy to students. It's not everything novel that is necessary.

Foreign AffairsRe: Germany Considers Nationalization Of Russian Companies, Gazprom And Rosneft by ogagun1: 7:02am On Apr 03, 2022
Does nationalising those companies guarantees supply of gas and oil from Russia. Will it not make Russia cut off completely? However, if the intensuon is to nationalise so that banks believe they are dealing with Germany instead of Russia, then maybe there is a bit of sensebif not, makes no sensse to me because those companies do not generate gas they only get what comes from Russia. instead
prophetfire:
. Do you understand what the term "nationalisation" means in commerce and economics?
It means to take over it and make it an indigenous company so to say, giving Germans the controlling shares.
If that is done, the Russians who are the original owners would be hurt. So the move would gladden the Americans and make Germans enemies of Russia, so to say.

AgricultureNot The Hunter's Fault by ogagun1(op): 9:57am On Mar 09, 2018
Many people have castigated the alleged killing of an elephant by a hunter in Idanre yesterday. However, have we stopped to ask how many hunters know about animal conservation or that one elephant is going into extinction? Did the government not constantly hear of hippopotamus destroying farms in Gombe state one time, guess the indigenes were enlightened, they made public outcry severally when it became obvious help was not coming, they did the needful.

A brother told me last year December of how Customs official stopped them on the way to Saki in Oyo state, and while they were there a rhinoceros crossed the road, some hunters came just at the nick of time, they didn't shoot at it because they allege it looks like local guns can kill it. They did not know the name nor whether it is facing extinction.

There is a need to unionize the hunters across the country, from there extension and conservation officials can educate them. Non-governmental conservation bodies must have trained personnel, who can be called upon anytime to arrest stray animals, citizens must know who to call when they see such.

Politics>>Do You Know This Country?>> by ogagun1(op):
I know a country where the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has specified that this country, has 70.8% of her citizen living on less than $1 a day and 92.4% live on less than $2 a day with an exchange rate of about 360 of her currency to a dollar. In this country, are sachet water hawkers popularly called pure water in local parlance who make just 30 - 50 on a bag depending on the temperature at the place where they source it. If they sell 10bags in a day, they have got reasons to roll out the drums, what about the cobbler who results to begging by evening because he didn’t make any earning after trekking for hours or the worker despite the certificate whose take home only takes him few kilometres to his house. A visit to most of this country’s market show more of the statistics, there are people whose total worth of goods is not more than 1000, profit inclusive.

I know a country where the monkeys and snakes are richer than the citizens. A place where you can categorically boast that a monkey in Kaduna, a city in Northern Nigeria is worth more than 70 million in local currency even if the same monkey in Afi Mountain Reserve of Cross River State is not worth more than a bunch of banana. A place where a snake in Benue is worth about 36 million in local currency which is not at parity with snakes in Adamawa, whom farmers are pleading with to let them farm successfully without danger. If a dollar was given to each citizen, a Kaduna monkey will gladly give 194,444 citizens and the snake 100,000 persons. If the two animals combine their alleged wealth and give citizens, UNICEF will alter her figures at least for one day for sake of 294,444 citizens. Only God knows the numbers of animals in those categories.

I know a country, in whose territory, I grew up in a small town and in agricultural classes, I was taught that barns were for preservation and storage of yams and silos for the preservation and storage of grains. In the country I know, farms are not barns to yams nor silos to grains but barns are now static currency bullion carriers and silos now shinning dollar strong rooms. Since 2015 when the country in question changed the government, stories have flooded the media of how people particularly politicians and retired military personnel have turned farms into pseudo central banks. It is even alleged that some farms no longer need Ntongue:K fertilizer or organic manures as some of this currency have decayed and are now serving as the source of nourishment to plants at the expense of the citizens and taxpayers, crops now freely exchange the decayed notes for the nutrient in the soil market.

Do you know this country, feel free to add yours if you do...

He has not done any tangible capital project, all he does is to play to the gallery of some gullible illiterates with rice, veg oil, ponmo and giving money to people at parties. He has constituted himself as the only opposition to PDP to win sympathy when he will be tried for his current evil in Ekiti. He is currently making life unbearable for people through different taxes.

Hello Everyone, I seriously need your advice on this issue because am very confused. Here is my Story. I am in love with this girl that I met during NYSC, although it took some time for her to accept me but she eventually did. I have studied her closely and I see the qualities that I want in a woman in her, and so I intend to settle with her but there is a challenge. I am strongly against Sex before marriage and so the relationship has been Sex-free. But recently she said she could no longer take it, she said she want us to hav sex or I should not blame her if she gets it elsewhere because according to her she has exceeded her endurance limit. I am Confused, I don't know what to do. I really love her and I don't wanna loose her but I can't go against my personal principle. Help a Brother plz I nid your advice.
most likely she has been doing it before, let me advise that if this principle is born out of being born again; go to God for direction when you are truly ready to settle down. I had same principle but all the ladies I chose on my on will were opposite, till I allowed God. the rest is history, with all apology if you are impotent pls seek divine intervention first, as have seen fellow brothers with such principle who were only impotent
FamilyRe: My Husband Has Idolised Me And Now I'm Fed Up. Need Help by ogagun1: 12:11pm On Nov 26, 2015
I must commend your sense of simplicity and honesty. however, two things are obvious to me, you are a good woman with good upbringing because that's what some women want; a boy-boy husband and secondly u most likely come from a home where you father dictates things without recourse to others. Now, concerning your husband, it seems to me that he is most likely a born again brother and he enjoys sex; from all you have said about him you can't change him by talking to him because whatever you say will be seen from a selfish perspective. To correct the situation, change your mindset that a man must not necessarily be a dictator, make moves for sex sometimes, get someone who your husband respects and go with him for counseling, let me however warn that you should be careful of your choice counsellor so that he does not ruin your home, maybe his spiritual father preferably. God bless your marriage.

CrimeAlien Invasion by ogagun1(op): 1:08pm On Nov 12, 2015

THE ALIEN INVASION

The influx of foreigners especially from neighboring countries of Chad, Niger and Cameroon into this country is alarming. They enter unchecked in thier numbers and nobody seems to be concern. Some walk in majestically through our porous borders, others in trucks and on motorcycles. This invasion did not start yesterday, Ghanians did not start fishing in our waters unlicenced last week nor the illegal miners in the midst of the locals. These illegal migrants have their effect spread across all sectors of our national life. They constitute a security threat, a source of palpable division to our unity, taking a toll on our economy. I shall streamline to security and unity. Recently, whilst I watched Channelstv with rapt attention, my full gaze on the television; the live transmission of the last batch of ministerial screening. I wanted to see what our set of ministerial nominees were going to do differently from the immediate past administration. When a ministerial nominee from Kano was asked about Fulani herdsmen and their incessant clashes, he made a remarkable assertion, that the violent herdsmen are those of foreign nationals not indigenous Fulanis; the invaders at work.

This issue of illegal immigrants called aliens in security circle is not a new phenomenon. Its being there all along, probably since amalgamation. The enormity of their activities can't be overemphasized. This people have crept on us unawares and have woven themselves to the fabric of our national life. If we can tame the literates to an extent, what about the illiterates.let us remember that they wont care what becomes of this nation, because they are not a shake holder in the Nigerian project. They have become ubiquitous. A fellow who works on Lagos Island told me of how some supposed Hausas have turned the frontage of their office to bedroom at night. It was when they brought in police to dislodge them that they found out they were all Nigeriens. It is pertinent though disheartening to observe that some of them have found themselves at the corridors of power. If they could have found themselves at such hallowed places, then we are already saturated by them. There were rumours that former Head of State,General Saani Abacha wasn't from Kano Nigeria, infact I met a fellow in NYSC camp whilst serving my fatherland who claimed the former head of state was from his Kanuri speaking part of Borno state. Romours had it that he was from Niger Republic. Even a few of our present class of elite of Northern Nigeria extraction, have such allegations hanging on their head. If they have successfully found their way into places of governance and security; we are seated on a keg of gunpower. Most of the killings perpetrated by herdsmen have been linked to them as most of them have turned cattle rearing to human killing, maiming, raping and armed robbery. This impact is felt in diverse places across the nation in Plateau, Nassarawa, Kaduna, Benue, Taraba, Enugu, Ogun all the way to Cross River. However, a few indigenous Fulanis can't be completely exonorated. Today, many of these invaders are cobblers, okada riders, security guards etc. This is not new but all hands must be on deck with the state of our national security, individuals must do the favour of notifying our immigration office of all suspicions, and refuse them job opportunities especially now that we have an army of unemployed citizens.

In actual fact most have also being linked to terrorism. The history of terrorism can be traced to the maitatsine violence of the eighties occasioned by Alhaji Mohammed Marwa whose nickname was Maitatsine meaning 'the one who damns'. He had an ideology that was opposed to most aspects of modernization and western influence. He and his followers unleashed acts of terrorism against Nigeria leading to the lost of 4,177 lives in kano alone. His teachings were against the use of radios, wristwatches, automobiles, motorcycles and even bicycles. Major General Buhari in synergy with the police brought them to book. Mohammed Yusuf also started his own ideology, which he termed boko haram 'western education is evil' in 2002, yet he was a graduate who spoke English fluently and drove an elegant Mercedes Benz. He said in one of his interviews with BBC in 2009; 'There are prominent Islamic preachers who have seen and understood that the present western styled education is mixed with issues that run contrary to our beliefs in Islam'. Interestingly, both Marwa and Yusuf were against western education and modern technology; its also worthy of note that both were literate. This implies that even though educated, they still portend danger to our unity. However, its important to know that Alhaji Mohammed Marwa 'Maitatsine' is not a Nigerian, he only moved to Kano, Nigeria after his education in 1945, where he later became popular for his controversial teachings on the Quran. He was from Marwa in Northern Cameroon. The colonial master sent him on exile at a point but he came back after independence.

Moreover, this one gigantic threat to our national security and unity as a nation must be addressed, as some part are speaking of seceding if something is not done urgently because of these herdsmen. Most of the boko haram members have also been proven and corroborated by the military to be of Chad and Niger origin. A vast majority of the insurgents are not Nigerians, the occasional arrest made by the Department of State Security (DSS) in Lagos laid credence to that fact. Howbeit, it is an aberration that our leaders only speak out when they are affected, nobody thought of seceding whilst innocent people were being slaughtered by herdsmen across Yoruba land until Chief Olu Falae was kidnapped, just like the northern elders protested the deployment of military to Borno initially, giving all sort of defensives, but now that its affecting them, the military are not doing their work well. I wonder what the immigration office has done differently with all these findings. Its also a abnormal that in my constant visit to Borno, there are no jingles aimed at educating the populace about security tips, right islamic teachings, boko haram etc.

Our immigration service must be equipped with mordern operational gadgets at the border; biometrics at land borders must be taken seriously, thank God even villages now have access to data connection. All herdmen coming into Nigeria must be duly registered with their cattle and ranches established by both state government and private individuals. Helicopters should be procured for the aerial surveillance of our borders. The time frame within which a citizen applies and get the national identity card must be reduced drastically. Everyone must have a National means of identification since all can't have driver's license or international passport. With this, recruitment exercise especially to the security agencies can be more effective, devoid of alien enlistment. Nelson mandela said, 'Education is the most powerful weapon through which you can change the world'. Islamic scholars must constantly reinforce the true believe of Islam to its adherents, they must be taught that the we are in a liberal society. If necessary, it should be made a compulsory course to all higher institutions in Northern Nigeria, because if boko haram ends today, who knows who else will rise in 10 or 20 years to come again like Marwa and Yusuf. The national Orientation Agency should produce jingles that will be aired constantly on radio stations in the northeast to educate the populace about simple security tips, boko haram etc, like my people will say jokingly that no matter how poor an Aboki is, he will be a proud owner of a transistor radio. So the problem of if they will listen is out. In the Bollywood movie, 'My name is Khan', Khan tried to convince the president that because he was a Muslim, does not make him a terrorist, am not stating that our neighbors are criminals as no one has the the power except pronounced as such by a court.

In one of President Buhari's interview with Funmi Iyanda prior to the election, Buhari spoke of how himself and the Inspector General of Police were working together like they belonged to same platoon. There will therefore be no icing on the cake, if there is no synergy amongst the security agencies, especially with reference to intelligence gathering and sharing. There must be an office subject to the Chief of Defence Staff that coordinates the whole synergy with a tactician as commander. We want to see the kind of synergy that ended maitatsine in action, all unnecessary rivalry should be shelved. With the same gusto being employed by the military in destroying camps, same is expected from police and DSS in fishing them from amongst the populace through proper intelligence gathering and sharing.

Unless we tame and confine this invasion to the backwaters of the past, our children only knowing about them by reading about it in our annals of history, then the new prophesy of doom that we would breakup is a reality not a wish away. December terrorism deadline too will be a wishful thinking.
Many thanks for reading.
