Christianity EtcRe: Ten Richest Pastors In Nigeria 2017 And Their Net Worth by oganoble(m): 1:26pm On May 21, 2017
auxanosolar:
yes and I have a lot of his books.... u people are forgetting the fact that he runs successful businesses.... y don't u criticize Dangote, Adenuga or other billionaires....oh bcoz they are pastors right... I usually tell people that when u are not sure of something concerning a man of God it's better to be quiet
Dangote is not a preacher, doesnt own a church, but we all know how much he's worth. Now my question is, how much were these pastors worth before they opened their churches. Shut your trap. Their money's came from the churches, or at least the capital they used in doing other businesses came from the church. You don't need to be a Christian or believe in God to be rich.

Who get time for mad people?
Of course, Ipods are mad set of people
It's not nice to call an entire ethnic group of people mad. Am sure there are people among them who are more intelligent than you are. They are trying to make their voices heard which every individual has the right to. Whether you like what they say or not is another thing, but they have to be heard. Iam not IPOB by the way, before people finish me here na na even before I type finish
PoliticsRe: Gunmen Invade Villages In Bonny, Rivers State, Kill Four (Graphic Photos) by oganoble(m):
I have observed that most posts about Rivers State here on NairaLand is targeted to project Rivers State in the negative light. Every bad thing is reported, but very few positive ones. Iam from Rivers state and we are very peaceful in our nature. Iam sure even you screaming Rivers of blood knows that too deep inside your heart.

[quote author=mmsen post=56651780]I wasn't even talking about Nigeria when I was talking about the workers in Qatar. Most of the workers there are from the Indian subcontinent. You completely missed the point of my post.[/
OK. My bad. I misunderstood your comment obviously.

Nigeria isn't oil rich, 2 million barrels per day for 180 million people is nothing.

These people aren't doing anything special. They are overpaying consultants and architects and then underpaying immigrant construction workers to work very long hours in the desert heat to make all this.

That is how they're able to do things so quickly without the threat of strikes or any other stoppages. If you think about striking they imprison you and send you home and get someone else from your impoverished country/village to do the same work.
True that. But you are also a citizen of the impoverished country/village. Don't exonerate yourself, because if something good becomes of this country, you will be the first to say it's my country. Like Anthony Joshua has turned our brother overnight. Join hands to make Nigeria great so you can be proud of it once again
EducationRe: Secondary School Where Students Sit On The Floor For Classes In Lagos (Photos) by oganoble(m): 5:15pm On May 18, 2017
The situation should be addressed speedily before that building collapses on those innocent children and we start counting the number of casualties. Meanwhile, iam still surprised to know that such a school exists in Lagos.. But again.. It's Nigeria..So...

Hmmm...call me superstitious but I suspect witchcraft is involved. May their souls rest in peace.

This story actually reminds me of a girl that used to rent a room at my sister's house. She graduated one December, went home for the holidays & died on the 2nd week of January. The story we heard from her brother is that she went to town on the afternoon & got a call to come for a job interview on a specific date. She got home, found her mom sitting with a neighbour outside & she excitedly shared the news with them. Later that evening they say she complained of a headache. They sent the brother to go buy her Grandpa (a headache powdery substance). The brother said when he returned, she was much worse & was hallucinating. They called the ambulance, but sadly she died on the way to hospital. The postmortem results came back saying a vein in her head ruptured. What a coincidence for her to have a ruptured vein on the day she got that fateful call undecided
She had a ruptured aneurysm. She probably had an aneurysm, the excitement from the news of the job interview caused a rise in her blood pressure, thereby causing the aneurysm to rupture. Most people die instantly from it. God help us all

Like Rivers,like bayelsa
It's funny how we always look for away to turn every topic into a tribal or regional battle. It's not a "my state is better than yours thing",because iam sure where you are from, far worse inhumane things have happened. Someone was assassinated.its a crime. What we should be asking is by who and why, and what the police authorities are doing to bring the criminals to book. We really need to change the way we think in this country. We all need to grow up, because that's the only way we can move forward as a nation

And just to add, a lot of labs do toxicology tests in Nigeria. Be informed my friend

doctokwus:
I am not doubting their testimony or d cause of death, but my issue is that d pathologist cannot do an autopsy and come out to say so and so drug caused a death.
Autopsy can reveal aspiration, choking, strangulation, etc as causes of death, but u need to present a toxicology screening or in d common parlance lab drug test that shows so,so drug was found,at what amount or dose and that it was far above d accepted blood levels.
He cannot tell anybody that, but a lab screening that shud be part of what informed his conclusion wud av.I didn't read where he presented that backup evidence.
blood specimen and other fluids are also taken during autopsy and can tell if a chemical substance was the cause of death. Even something as simple as his hair can be used for drug toxicity screening. It's not that complex
CelebritiesRe: Burna Boy: I'm Not A Role Model, I Am Just 25 by oganoble(m): 8:11pm On May 16, 2017
He never said he's not a role model because he's 25. He said he's just a 25 year old who has seen more than he should at that age. We should learn to read and get the real meaning of things.
