BusinessRe: How CBN Deliberately Prevents Naira From Appreciating Against Dollar - Sahara R. by oganoble(m): 11:26pm On Jul 03, 2020

I don't know why we're so selfish in Africa, most especially our leaders.....
that’s how the system has been designed long ago. The Europeans and Americans had similar situation of government and institutional corruption, aimed at benefiting a particular set of people until the people demanded and got more political rights. The problem with Africa is either the people are too scared or reluctantly comfortable to make a move to change things( e.g. Nigeria) or some people lead a revolution and simply change the set of people benefiting from the government(e.g. Egypt). It’s an unfair battle between the rich and the poor. We have a long way to go my brother.
TravelRe: New Images From Kaduna Urban Renewal Project by oganoble(m):
A lot of hatred, unexplainable anger, jealousy is found in most Nigerian youths. We carry over hatred and ethnocentrism from our parents, instantly hating the other youth for no reason, just because he’s of a different religion from other part of the country. This is ignorance at its barest form. Okay, our mates in other places are rising above this, living in peace and enjoying themselves. But here we are putting ourselves in bondage with our own hands. Let’s as youth help in making this country better. It’s the only country we have and we are always going to be judged by outsiders on how things are currently, and not how things were before. That’s the only way we can add an ink for the purpose rewriting history. Peace to your families
Science/TechnologyRe: Common Snake In Eti-Osa Area Of Lagos: Is It Venomous Or Poisonous? by oganoble(m): 7:18pm On Jun 18, 2019
Ikem11:
Brother I understand what u saying totally... Read what I wrote again then u will understand. All snakes got venoms but some venoms are very weak that even bucket of it in your system won't do u any harm.

U see that snake u said got no venoms allow It to bite you and u will notice sweat on you but it ends there to show u the venom isn't active
But what if the sweating is simply related to anxiety. Most snake bite patients are very anxious, they think they will die, so they require a bit of sedation most times.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Releases ‘Evidence’ Of Election Result From INEC Website by oganoble(m): 8:34pm On Apr 16, 2019
Everyone knows the elections were rigged by both parties. My question is... for those asking if the evidence is admissible in court, will Atiku( with all his experience) gather up to 50 something lawyers, SANs inclusive, to produce an evidence which is not admissible in court? I don’t think so, even if I’m far from being a lawyer. Let’s see

Sia baba has done much to curtail the proliferation of incessant attacks that used to be prevalent throughout northern NIGERIA. You can't sit in Aba and undastand the relief and liberty this govt has brought to the north in their fight against insurgency. Boko Haram has no strong holds outside borno today and we're all enjoying the good deeds of baba. We will all troop out to vote buhari today whether PDP propagandists like it or not

Political season is interesting in my country. The way individuals promote their preferred candidate is as if only one person determines the winner. We forget about personalities (candidates) and their party manifesto, their track records. What I can't really figure out is the way educated Nigerians play bias and ethnic politics in chosen their leaders, Omoyele Sowore and Mogelu are begging for our votes but the so called educated Nigerians still prefer old politicians who have failed us before. Nigeria my country, when will our youths be ready to save you from vampires.
I share your views widely. But the bitter truth is that Nigeria is a very unique society and education is very relative in our context. Sad to say, but you and I voting Sowore or Mogelu, would amount to little. Why? Because beyond Abuja, up North, where the voting strength is highest, no one knows them. And education is still an issue there as even the ones that have gone through the schools are still blinded by religious ethnocentrism. If we had an electoral college of elites, they may have stood a chance. It is only a gradual process but I think it is not yet time. my consolation is that at least the process has been birthed and can only grow from here. So for me, the wise thing to do at this point is to vote for the lesser of the two most popular evils, depending on your judgment and personal conviction, while gradually but persistently demanding and advocating for total systematic reform.Cheers

kehinde1588:
You guys just like saying rubbish online. The sad incident happened last night and it was perpetrated by thugs loyal to PDP senatorial aspirant (Rafiu). The thugs attacked APC senatorial campaign convoy(Lola Ashiru) immediately they left Olojoku palace (home town of PDP senatorial aspirant). Two people were killed and several were injured.

Oba of ojoku has laid a curse on PDP senatorial aspirant (Rafiu) who came from same town for being the brain behind the incident.

I wonder how APC will kill their own supporters. You guys just reason with your anus.
Nigerian politicians are very cunning. A politician can hire thugs to come and disrupt his campaign so he can blame the opposition and make them look bad. This is not new in Nigerian politics. Never say never my friend
PoliticsRe: EXTRA: More Than One Million Dead Persons Will Vote In This Election~ Secondus by oganoble(m): 10:01pm On Feb 19, 2019
We have to be mindful of how we support these Nigerian politicians . A politician in Nigeria can hire thugs to kill people at his own rally so that he can blame the other party. Let’s be warned. Not everything is as it appears to be.
Secondly, I’m concerned about the patterns of rigging strategies in various parts of the country. In the North, so many people have multiple voters cards. I don’t know how this came to being. So many people have voters cards belonging to their children not even close to 18 years. So when they want to rig here, it’s simple. But in the south it’s very different. Thugs and guns are employed and lives are lost. These are facts.
PoliticsRe: Army Uncovers Plan To Use Armed Thugs During Elections In Niger Delta by oganoble(m): 9:24pm On Feb 19, 2019
Questions
1. Why would PDP want to use thugs in areas it is almost certain of getting most of the votes( as some are accusing the PDP). Who stands to benefit if there is chaos in the south.
2. What is the role of the army in the electioneering process as stipulated by the constitution
3. Why isn’t the north being targeted since they have the highest voting strength
4. If Atiku wins this election, what does that mean for Bola Tinubu’s political aspirations.
5. If the North always wants a different president from what the south( SS ans SE to be more specific) wants, is it not better to split the country as to eliminate the 95% vs 5% treatment?
Please mature answers only. No insults please. Thank you.

PoliticsRe: "Jungle Justice": Buhari's Ballot Box Snatching Warning Got Nigerians Talking by oganoble(m): 7:40pm On Feb 18, 2019
What is wrong is wrong. In as much as he means to discourage people from election malpractice, he should always make reference to what the law says on this. I doubt if he thought this through at all. This kind of statement would have been better suited for offenses with death penalties like terrorism in the instance of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. Also, i think it would have been better if he said anybody caught being corrupt will pay with his life, then start with Rotimi Amaechi, then people might applaud him with one hand

Those you called kids are actually well above 18 that are suffering from stunted growth. Irony of it is 15 -16 years old kids in the south that have the look of 25+ years old.
you may be right to an extent, but I am talking facts here. I saw a man yesterday with PVCs of his 5children. The eldest he told me is 17 and he told me almost every one has PVCs for their children regardless of their age. Its my experience I’m talking from. I live in maiduguri by the way, and I know all about the malnutrition and all.. I have an idea about how people operate here.
PoliticsRe: PDP Reacts As Buhari Says Snatch Ballot Box, Pay With Your Life by oganoble(m): 6:03pm On Feb 18, 2019
But seriously, the number of kids( well below 18 years) with PVCs in the North is alarming.
PoliticsRe: Five Boko Haram Terrorists, Four Soldiers Killed In Yobe by oganoble(m): 1:17pm On Feb 18, 2019
At about 1 am Saturday morning 16th feb 2019, I heard sounds of cars moving and people passing outside my gate, at my residence in Polo maiduguri. This never happened. I heard them whispering but could not make out what they were saying. Little did I know that they were evacuating the area because they have been informed by BH that they will attack the area that morning. Later that morning around 5am just as they called for the early morning prayers, people got into the mosques to pray. Then Boko Haram attacked a mosque very close to my house with explosives and sporadic shootings. Many were killed. There after, the boys could not leave because military came. They were hidden by a woman in her house. The military did a clean up around the area and caught them. They killed some who tried to escape and took some to the barracks. These Boko Haram boys are well protected by the indigenous people, and in turn give warnings to some of them when they want to attack.

There were so many attacks also in Maiduguri yesterday. Saw it on Aljazeera since yesterday afternoon but I haven't seen our local news to report on that..
it happened very close to where I live at Polo maiduguri. A very scary sad event I must say, but of course it won’t be reported because BH has been “technically defeated”.

That's the advantage of being neutral. You talk without being sentimental.

I sell all kinds of furniture both home and office.

being truly neutral means you don’t support any one, which is totally wrong on its own. Say he doesn’t want to influence people’s decision on who to vote, but in politics, you can’t be truly neutral, you have to pick a side of you are to stand a chance of being said to have done the right thing.

no vex. I don’t think you understood my post. I didn’t say you have to travel abroad to make it, i only meant younger people in other countries are making waves like France for example and an old man like buhari should be resting retired. Secondly, I didn’t spit on you, I just did because the situation of things I see in this country is disgusting. As for your attempting to curse my family and generations, I don’t believe in all that, and even if I did, it won’t work because I have done nothing wrong to you. Wish you and this country well all the same. Cheers

Gforce2019:
I so much enjoy the hausa Muslim ...they are always cooperative in their dealings....

Omo' Igbo supported Atiku because their brother , obi , is his deputy candidate....but that doesn't demeaning the fact that hausa-muslim has lost the sight of who their preferred candidate which is buhari...

....and This is a clear indication that in most of the northern region, Atiku will fail woefully and he will perpetually fail in this Saturday election...

Your south-east and south-south vote is not enough to make Atiku a winner...
then the country should just be divided. Since the north and the south always have differing opinions on who the president should be. If the north wins, the south suffers and vice versa. Really not fair on the south because the north has more population and also contributes to most problems in the country, while the south continues contributing to the income of the country which everyone shares. This country is just wrong from its foundation

What impact has he made that has failed. States are buying fleets of cars to support their Federal police so as to tackle security challenges and one tells you his hands are tied. Waiting for order from Abuja grin grin Are you kidding me?

Were you impressed with that line when he said so?
Honestly I was far from impressed with the response he gave. But even if he gives all the support to the police, the policemen receive orders from the IGP, who in turn receives orders from the commander-in-chief. So if oga says stand down,or release those arrested, so will they. You know how Nigeria works my brother
