Take Port Harcourt and Lagos for example. Is the federal that baiks them out of their security challenges? The state funds their federal police and get work done.

The case of Baddo in Ikorodu and kidnappers brought down in Port Harcourt are good examples. How can you be pointing to the president firstly when you have a sitting Governor that's has every power and support required to tackle security challenges.

Let me refer you to Aba some years back when security was hell, didn't the state governors support vigilante groups to tackle measures? Did it not make little impact.

I’m from port harcourt so I know about the security challenges there first hand. I work with an international NGO and last September, we were in Taraba state to carry out an assessment on the IDPs displaced from Lau LGA where Fulani herdsmen had wrecked havoc and we had the privilege of interacting with the governor of the state. He said his hands were tied because the matter is very delicate and it depends on how Abuja wants to tackle it, and and as for him he could not give any direct order to security forces. So you see, this case is very different. Meanwhile, shettima of Borno and Gaidam of yobe get 1billion monthly in security votes but recently he was in Abuja crying for the president to come and save them from Boko Haram. There are issues, and there are issues

Only the poor ignorant, gullible ,ethnocentric ones like this will vote for buhari, and sadly I must admit that they are quite a handful in the North north. But no doubt, the average plateau Man detests this government. Hope they come out and vote

The way it's going the SS and SE maybe the decider of this election. Why? Pretty much every other region in the country is going to be divided and may yield very little differences. Block votes from the south south may end this election before it starts especially if buhari does not get more than 65% from the north west.

what I’m skeptical about is the voter apathy in the southeast. They seem to portray a level of political naivety. I hear some saying sit at home and boycott the election which personally I believe is a diabolical decision to make at this time, owing to the neglect shown to them by this administration. Plus their son is in the mix as vice presidential candidate, maybe it will stir them up to leave their homes and vote. If they do, Atiku will win

Imagine a situation: we have this board of examiners where everyone who aspires to be a president must go through. The board consists of very high ranking professionals of incorruptible reputations, in various fields of life including science, economics, psychology, agriculture, medicine and health, education, Justicesecurity etc, from different countries in Africa. So you have professors from Ghana, Kenya, Congo, Nigeria, South Africa, and past presidents. etc in the board. Aspiring candidates will take exams and talk about their plans in every sector. With this decision, SE got the motivation they need to turn out and vote where Atiku will win comfortably. PDP has also got the SS pretty comfortably. PDP will still get a good percentage of votes from the SW regardless. PDap has a good percentage of the North central states, and half the states in NE except Borno, Yobe and maybe Bauchi. APC can take the North West, but PDP will sure get a good number of votes in Kano. So putting all these into consideration, it was an excellent decision
