Sir,the USA is no heaven/paradise especially for the 'coloured people'.I'm very sure the OP can't mention all her negative experiences.Even our Nigerian brothers and sisters who live in the West face many challenges but they don't say anything.Don't you know what is happening in Ferguson? When they were giving the verdict on the policeman who shot Michael Brown, the Police preferred to guard white neighbourhoods from looters rather than protect black businesses.Isn't that discrimination?Have you ever experienced racial discrimination in your life?To be viewed as a criminal, drug dealer or intellectually inferior simply for the colour of your skin?Abeg, let me stop here
Speak for yourself, I know of Nigerian lawyers, doctors and entrepreneurs who are making over $500,000 a year living comfortably in mansions in America.

TravelRe: 10 Reasons Why I'm Leaving America And Moving To Nigeria by ogbonoeba: 2:18pm On Mar 15, 2015
Glamrock:
1. The food - GMO this and that. Unhealthy foods and seasonings giving us cancers and diabetes. Keeping people sick through foods. A science study has shown that African Americans will be extinct in America in 100yrs or less just from the food alone.

2. Weather - 9Months of cold weather and 3months of warm weather. I hate being cold I feel home sick. This is not my natural habitat. I need the sun 24/7. I need all my vitamin D intake smiley

3. Floride - in our drinking water. We can not escape it. keeping our Pineal glands decalcified. Same thing Hitler used on his holocaust victims before he exterminated his whole camp, but that's another story..

4. Language - I want to learn traditional African languages. I want to hear it and learn to speak it. Whether it be Hausa, Yoruba, igbo, basic pidgin etc.

5. Culture - here we are not taught anything prior to slavery. It wasn't until about 4 years ago when I finally learned about the truth. About my cultural history. I knew I was of African decent, I just didn't know anything else. Anything we are shown about Africa is the poverty and wars. They really keep the greatness of the culture hidden. Probably to keep us from wanting to come back because now that I know what I know I'm in love with where I came from and who I truly am. I'm 27 now with an almost 9yr old daughter. She deserves to see, learn and live her true culture. I feel so home sick embarassed

6. Materialism - so much technology so many distractions, It's nothing wrong with having nice things. People just need to realize because you have something someone else doesn't doesn't mean you're superior . ThIs can happen anywhere. I just point it out because a lot of people think because this is the "western world" it's better. We can not become robots lost in technology and materialism we just can't. We are human beings.

7. Roots - I have every right to want to come back it's my home too. I hate hearing people say I wasn't born there. What does that mean? Had my ancestors not been STOLEN I would have been born there. I am of African decent. I take pride in Africa. I'm no invader. Doesn't matter where I was born I am a child of the sun.

8. Spirituality - this is a spiritual move. Peace of mind. When The ancestors speak I listen. I know you have Christianity and Islam but I really would like to see and learn more about African traditional religions.

9. Development - I think it's time for not just me, but majority of African Americans to take our knowledge and skills back to the motherland to contribute to the continents development. Why does the world Rob Africa and then eat without her?. you are a developing country soon You wil. Have all the things you think is so great in the western world. Your resources are RICH! Just be patient

10. I think you knew this was coming. The main reason of all. INEQUALITY / RACISM
I am so sick and tired of being treated different because of the color of my skin. I am sick of watching these white people kill my people and get away with it just because whites are dominant . It's Not right. How. Long do we have to fight for freedom? We are still fight after 400+ yrs Sometimes I can't even sleep in my bed at night because I'm wondering who's next or what's going to happen tomorrow. I'm sick of being seen as less than an animal. And it's so normal here a lot of people just ignores it! I can't its an insult to my soul. I can't take it I am not free.

Now believe it or not I just gave you 10. If I told you every reason I'd be writing all night. I'm use to being discourage about this big decision I've chose in my life. So please don't Comment telling me why I should stay here and shouldn't come there. Especially if you never been here. Its different when you live here. Every body here is not rich and everybody is not living like celebrities. Out of 43million African Americans only about 1% is really living that way. I just want the truth to be told because I read all the time about Africans wanting to come here because they think it's better here, and we have it so great. We are in a constant war here. You are blessed. You are children of the sun.
I have lived in Nigeria and America, and you are going against the current. Nigerians are worse off than they used to be. When I left, the currency exchange rate was

N5 = $1.00

TODAY it is N199= $1.00

1. I highly doubt that African Americans will be extinct in 100 years. What's your source? Will America be extinct in 100 years? White, Blacks, Asians and Latinos all eat the same food.

2. There are warmer climates in America and it does get cold in Africa.

3. You shouldn't drink Nigerian tap water. It doesn't have fluoride, and you can get sick ftom it.

4. Visit Houston, Atlanta and Maryland and make friends with Nigerians. Hell, ask them to teach you what you want to learn. Take a vacation to Nigeria If you haven't done so.

5. Some Nigerians will never accept you, we even have a derogatory word for African Americans. Never heard of it? You don't know enough Nigerians.

6. Materialism....lol, you think Nigerians are not this way? We have people living on less than $5/day and church pastors with private jets and Bentleys living in Nigeria. We have some of the best scams in the world. Have you heard of 419 and yahoo-yahoo?

7. If you move to Nigeria, will you be taking your daughter? If so, are you married? If not, do you plan on marrying a Nigerian? Nigerians don't like women with "baggage."

8. Unfortunately, most Nigerians don't have any desire to move back to the country, because our leaders have no interest in development. Read saharareporters.com

9. You listen to ancestors...interesting. Don't go telling Nigerians that you can do that. Most will tell you that you are a ritualist or possessed by demons. Most Nigerians are extremely religious, but it's mostly an act. We pray so God can bless us with material wealth.

10. I understand how you feel. Racism, police officer shooting of unarmed black men. It's not easy, but the Nigerian police is worse. We have tribalism in Nigeria. The south and the north share a deep hatred that goes back decades. We even fought a civil war.

If after everything I've told you, and you are determined to move to Naija, then please get to know Nigerians in America and travel to

Lagos
Abuja
Port Harcourt
Calabar
PoliticsRe: Civilian Control Over The Military: A Comparison Between Nigeria And The U.S. by ogbonoeba: 11:58pm On Mar 14, 2015
CFCfan:
The principle of civilian control over the armed forces of a nation is a critical aspect of a democratic/civilian government. Whichever form of civilian rule a country adopts-parliamentary, presidential, or a hybrid of the former, it's always deemed important to ensure that the military submit to civilian control.

In other words, the civilians make policy, while the uniformed folks are expected to salute and execute the policy. This relationship between the crafters of military policy and the military itself differs slightly amongst various democratic nations.

In the U.S., the military chain of command, by virtue of Article 2 of the constitution, and the provisions of the Goldwater Nichols Act of 1987, runs from the President-Secretary of Defense-Combatant commanders-Unit commanders.

The US Senate, in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 of the constitution, have the powers to confirm the President's nominees for the posts of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs (equivalent to Nigeria's CDS), the five service chiefs, the combatant commanders, and the heads of specialized commands such as the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Transport command etc. The legislative body also had the powers to confirm the President's nominees for commander of US troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Furthermore, the US Congress is the only body with sole power to close US military bases.

In Nigeria, despite the existence of the 2004 Armed Forces Act, Presidents Obasanjo, Yar'Adua, and Jonathan have routinely 'appointed' service chiefs without confirmation from the Senate. Late last year, a Federal High Court basically ruled that appointing service chiefs without Senate confirmation is null and void. It seems that a majority of Nigerian senators are/were even ignorant of the law! It only took a suit filed by Festus Keyamo, seeking enforcement of the law, for the Senators to wake up to their responsibility.
First of all, don't compare Nigeria with America.

Nigerians are unique people with unusual habits. We are everywhere from United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia. (We no dey carry last!) However, we tend to stand out from other people wherever we go. We don’t need to wrap ourselves with our “green white green’ flag before people can identify us. People don’t need to ask, “Are you a Nigerian”; they just say “You are from Nigeria!”. Well, that is not a bad thing; in fact I love it when people instantly identify me as a citizen of Africa’s big apple.

Nigerians are very easy to stereotype. Here are 8 ways to spot a Nigerian abroad:

1. Our traditional attires are very unique
2. Nigerians are very loud
3. We are very flamboyant
4. Nigerians love Football
5. Our passports are green in colour
6. Pidgin English is our signature
7. Nigerians love Owanbe Parties
8. We are ‘selfie’ enthusiasts

How is that a bad thing? Whatever happened to the word evangelism and visitation? Look it is very OK for a pastor to visit any student anywhere. Must you look for negatives always? There is nothing wrong. Temptations are everywhere but the spirit of God is what we need to overcome it. A good pastor must not restrict himself to Sunday service interactions with members. He is supposed to share in their personal struggle and counsel the members. I think that's what Christianity should be all about. It's a pity that we like to find fault in good things. Cheers

That been said, concerning the topic,y should a pastor use a 10m car?the thing is y shouldn't a pastor use it?wen a politician can and no1 will give a hoot?Davido, wizkid, linda ikeji olamide can all use 20m car but a pastor can't?what is my point,we lot do 4get these men are humans b4 pastors, aren't range rovers made for men?kkkk now I get it,pastors are angels that should fly!...

So where do they get money?lolz...I laugh at this a lot..see go and check the lives of these so called big pastors,u will find their secret----GIVING! There is no shortcut to blessing it's simply give and take!....these pastors feed widows, award scholarships, sow seeds to their seniors, pay tithes and u rili expect God not to bless them?u accusing dem,wen last did u give somebody 1k?linda ikeji gives away every last monday, davido recently paid for sm1s surgery, psquare gave OJB 10m for surgery...if u had dis money can u give like dem?try giving for 3months and see the changes in ur life!

Anoda factor is this,b4 a pastor uses a 10m car,that means his members are using 20 30m cars..shey u get?

All these been said though, doesn't mean we don't have wolves in sheep clothing...pastors collecting money from politicians, pastors collecting tithes without paying his(the sad part of this is,it won't work for the members that are paying dias..a pastor must give tithe from the tithe giving to him)..etc....and this apply to all spheres of life..bad eggs...

So b4 we condemn our pastors here and there...we need to know them very well...not pointing fingers here and there

The reason why Boko Haram have been able to run wild and why they've found it so easy to recruit is because of the tacit acceptance of the gross inequality in that part of the world.

As for the quality of posts that make frontpage, I think you should go to the general section and lay your complaints, not using such point to dent other people's posts.
Some topics require proof to be taken seriously and the OP has not provided much of it. If you want to instruct people provide it. Ninety percent of what he/she has said is based on their assessment without biblical support.

In the story of the adulterous woman who was about to be stoned, Jesus never mentioned 100 demons, all he asked her to do was go and sin no more. Instead he chastised her accusers to cast the first stone if they are without sin.

Why did Jesus turn water into wine? Could drinking alcohol be considered entering an unknown covenant?

What about SoLomon and David? These men would be considered playboys in our time, where they in known and unknown evil covenants? If so, why are they quoted and have a place in the bible?

What about breaking Kola and pouring libation to the earth, if you eat the kola nut are you now possesEd by the devil?

Christianity EtcRe: 7 Ways People Enter Into Evil Covenants by ogbonoeba: 2:08am On Feb 22, 2015
God2man:
Note the spelling COVENANT not convenant. It begins with God. God made covenant with Noah, Abraham, David and also the New covenant which is still in operation. We can see that God is a God of covenant. God is committed to it. He is always watching over his convenant. God's final commitment to do anything is in a covenant

What is the meaning?

A covenant is an accepted decision between two parties. It could be more than two. It can be described as an agreement between two or more people to establish a relationship in which promises, responsibilty and punishment for breaking the convenant are made. Covenant is legally binding. It is irreversible. It is the final irrevocable commitment. It is like a chain binding two people together. The covenant made the two to have one thing in common that keep them together.

However, the enemy of the soul of men, the devil has corrupted the original intention of covenant, he has created a counterfeit covenant called evil covenant, this one, is deceitfully done. It could be conscious evil covenant or unconsciuos evil covenant. It could be satanic. The devil is always looking for who to devour.

Certain things are important for forming a covenant, 1. People 2. Words 3. Reason.4. Place. 5. Blessings or punishment for breaking the covenant.

Words are very vital for forming a covenant, silent or loud, verbal, written or thought. There is a powerful connection between words and covenant.

Broken covenant is deadly. It may lead to chronic poverty, disaster, sudden death, calamity, barreness and madness.
Evil covenant is like a primitive trade by barter. It is an exchange. For example, the satanic priest can say, if you can sleep in the grave for so so days, you will be rich, if you can sleep with a young virgin girl, you will not die early in life...

Now, how do people enter into evil covenants?

1. Sex outside marriage: It does not matter if you use condom, a covenant is made. 1 corithian 6:16 "What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh" so, 1+1=1. During sex many things are transfered, diseases, body fluid, and liquid. Spiritually, a lot of transaction take place, a lady dedicated to marine shrine will have many demons, let's say 100 demons, this lady now sleep with a clean man, this man will collect 50 demons from this lady. Again, this man with 50 demons is now sexually loose, he begins to sleep with another girl, the new girl will get 25 out of the 50. It goes on and on. The life of this man is divided, shared, anytime he does it,he can never remain the same.
