Yes, you can make money on facebook. But you must be honest, consistent, relevant and abreast with the trends in your area of choice. I never believed this was possible until I tried it. I have a fairly big number of friends on facebook. Of course, I should have that on an account I created before 2012. I started being online regularly since last year. I can say that I have started making some money selling things to them. I have gained the trust of many of them and can state that "It can only get better". I hope to share the full story someday. But, just like every other livestock farmer in the area, lions always fed off their cattle at night. On many occasions, as he was up in the night watching the cattle, he noticed that the lions scampered away each time he moved around with his torchlight. So, using LEDs, he made what he called 'Lion Lights' that scared away the lions, kept them at bay and ensured they lost no more cattle. "He attached LEDs to poles around the animals’ area and faced them outward. Turere programmed the lights to flicker intermittently, resembling a human with a flashlight. He hooked them to a switch box and powered them with a solar panel and an old car battery", wrote Mashable. He was soon recognized by Kenya Land Conservativation for saving cattle, saving lions and saving money; all at a go. Turere’s work impressed Kenya Land Conservation Trust executive director Paula Kahumbu and her colleagues, who helped him get a scholarship at one of the country’s best schools. He was featured in a video entitled "My invention that outsmarted lions," spoke at the TED conference in Nairobi, and at TED 2013 in Long Beach, Calif.
