seanfer: You said the Sit at home is not a serious issue any longer. Do you have brain at all The new Enugu state Governor who made announcement that people should ignore the sit at home 2 weeks ago. How many people listened to him? The problem with you people is that you don’t see any issue in what’s affecting your region but you want to talk and dictate to others what happening in theirs. So you want to compare either regions on Mondays with the SE. Is that not madness. You are seeing real data you are still spewing your empty propaganda |

Igboid: This is very important. We need to reduce contact with Lagos and Abuja to barest minimum. A strong international aviation hub in SE will do that, and even force embassies to open annexes in SE if they notice that majority of visa applications are coming from SE.
For example majority of travels to SE Asia are from Igbos I don't understand why countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc should be having their embassies in Lagos and Abuja and not Enugu. These are things we have to work on, on long term. Our region is the safest region in Nigeria for crying out loud. Hopes were high when Enugu airport started international flight but suddenly Buhari happened. Hopefully with the new wave of economic liberalism the airport will be concessioned or maybe may make the move since FG has no power over it |

Ex0rrcist: That's a lie, his people testify to it by voting out his party. Of course they performed below expectations according to SE standards but not that they achieved entirely nothing like SW propagandists are trying to claim because they achieved far more than all SW governors |

S’East is safest place to live, says UN 13th May 2016 South East Nigeria By Ayodele Oluwagbemi Kindly share this story:
Eniola Akinkuotu
The United Nations Development Programme has named South-East Nigeria as the most human security secure geopolitical zone in Nigeria.
PUNCH Live With World’s Fastest 100m Hurdler, Tobi Amusan This is contained in the National Human Development Report for Nigeria, 2016.
The report adds that Abuja, which is the Federal Capital Territory, is the safest city to live in Nigeria as it ranks low in the Human Security Index
The UNDP defined Human Security as safety from chronic threats such as hunger, disease and repression as well as protection from sudden and harmful disruptions in patterns of daily life whether in homes, jobs or communities.
The Economic Adviser, UNDP Nigeria, Mr. Ojijo Odhiambo, said at the launching of the report in Abuja on Friday that the North-East and the North-West remain the most affected areas in Nigeria
The report adds, “The report further highlights the existing gap in human security across the geopolitical zones of the country; – the most human security secure geopolitical zone is the South-East while the North-West and the North-East geopolitical zones are the least human security secured, with residents of the Federal Capital Territory being the worst in most realms of the Human Security Index. They wanted to disrupt the peace in SE using fulani herdsmen with Buhari backing but Kanu's ESN finished them off and returned peace to the region. Their greatest frustrations is how SE gets things done without political compromise. They are busy fleeing to Benin Republic and shouting "where are the cows". |

Those who criticize sit at home are myopic. See data from middle belt especially Benue that share boarders with the East. If not for ESN the fulani killings would have spilled into SE. Meanwhile, SW propaganda machine continues to be disgraced by real data. Education, poverty reduction, security, SE remain on top |

omohayek: What does this non-sequitur have to do with the original topic? As I've said, you are free to treat any self-proclaimed "Oba" in your homeland with the highest severity if said "Oba" dares to agitate for terrorists to come and establish operations on your soil. If this answer disappoints you, too bad - some of us actually have principles we apply across the board regardless of tribe or religion. Olodo. Be deceiving yourself from your brown roof. Thousands of people will be employed here but sometimes I don’t like the way Chinese treat Nigeria staffs, Europeans are better
Btw, bro I was at awka last week and I noticed that silver bird cinema is building their structure in awka before nnpc mega station, I also noticed that that pharmaceutical company is almost complete
You should visit that Amaobia side and take some pictures
I also noticed that Rcc have resumed work on the other lane of Enugu-onitsha expressway The future is bright for SE |

kettykin: There is a fixed electricity supply to he east , EEDC as a disco can't do much , but if there are more mini grids then the east will be a net exporter, this is like depending on NNPC for fuel supply in the east The fix supply is usually enough. What other distribution are facing is inability of the people to pay bills but EEDC control areas with strong middle class with high disposable income such that they sell all the ones allocated to it at a good profits and buy more while other regions keep owing |
