Culture / Re: Igbo Marriage And Bride Price: Put The Records Straight (Represent Your Culture) by ogeodi(f): 12:03am On Apr 13, 2018
am from orsumoghu in ihiala lga of Anambra state. when I had mine in 2008 it was 160k for the items on the list and 1k for the brideprice. when my sister did hers in 2011 it was 220k for the items on the list and 1k for the bride price. why the difference was much btw the two was that I told them my husband was a pastor and I was given a list that doesn't have alcohol or beer just palmwine and schnapps for the umunna's blessings while my sister took the list with alcohol and beer. I also heard the list is been updated every 2yrs depending on the village councils.

Oh but if you ask those same Igbo parents to give their children the local names of the communitiea where they bear those kids, whill they agree?
Yes, they will. I was born and brought up in ilesha by igbo parents but I was named oluwashina likewise my siblings and that is the name we are called there anytime we travel back home.

Romance / Re: Can A Woman Have Joy Without A Man In Her Life? by ogeodi(f): 11:21am On Jan 04, 2018
Spasmic:

No she can't. Every woman needs the company support and affection of a man. Any woman that says she doesn't is only lying. And women also need good dick as well. If a woman doesn't have these things on her life, she is never going to be truly happy. She'd just pretend to be. Except if she's a lesbian.

Thank you for your feedback. She's home now and recovering.

I don't know if you can drop one or two things that could help. Her tummy is still big, and she's having pains all over. She can barely even sit. My mum told me she was cut for the baby to come out.

Is there anything she could do to reduce the size of her tummy, apart from tying wrappers around her abdomen once in a while. She is also having milk let down and her breast is heavy. I know this would resolve on its own, but how long will it take to go back to normalcy.

Your feedback will be so much appreciated.

Good to hear she's doing better, as for the tummy she needs good hot water massage and continuous drink, she's not supposed to take anything cold now so that all the blood inside would flush out, as for the breast milk, the hospital is supposed her drugs to dry up the milk n reduce the pain. shey hospital gave her some postnatal drugs to use let her take the drugs well and if it gets worse let her go back to the hospital. As for the stomach it will go down gradually dnt worry. As for the cut, she shd sit in warm water to heal the wound n always sit on a wooden stool nt couch o
