Education / Re: Please Between School Of Health/nursing And Polytechnic Which Is Best To Go For. by oghalesluv(m): 9:12pm On Feb 05, 2015 |
As for me, i will advice that you go for school of nursing than to school of health or polytechnic because in school of nursing it is more or less like you are already working. There in school of nursing you will be expose to more pratical and coming out you will have work quick than going to school of health or a polytechnic. |
Religion / Let's Vote GEJ Come 14th Febuary by oghalesluv(m): 8:52pm On Feb 04, 2015 |
SECRET: During Babangida Regime, he sold Nigeria to (Organisation of Islamic Conference) OIC" in other to Islamize Nigeria with an agreement. That OIC will be supporting Nigeria Financial & materially to accomplish their Mission. And every year Nigeria will be paying interest to OIC. So from IBB's regime Nigeria has been paying, until 1999 Obasanjo who is a Christain came & stopped it for 8yr's of his Tenure. Then 2007 Yara'dua came in & paid the outstanding depth of OBJ to OIC, with an interest & apology, he also paid his own from 2007 - 2010 & died. Goodluck Jonathan came in & Stop it for 6yr's now! And OIC constitution said that any member Nations that Stoped, this payment for 10yr's, will be Automatically Excommunicated! Now GEJ has ruled Nigeria from 6th may 2010 - 2015. He is seeking for 2nd Tenure that will make it 10yr's. So that Nigeria will be delivered from the Blood sucking Islamic Religion. That’s why APC presidential candidate Buhari has been fighting to rule Nigeria since OBJ's regime till date. Remember Nigeria 100yr's centenary was in 2014. And any Religion that start to rule from this 2015 will take dominion till the next 100yr's. Note: I am not campaigning for GEJ, But I am just revealing a secret to my fellow Christians to Vote for Religion. Forget Boko Haram. OIC masterminded it to distract us, it will soon be over. Nigeria did not have the monopoly of Terrorism, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Pakistan, Qatar, Somalia etc. All this Nation has been fighting Terrorism since 80s yet.... May God bless you, As you will Vote for a Christian President in Nigeria come Febuary 14th 2015. |

Religion / 28 Rules Of Life... by oghalesluv(m): 2:56pm On Oct 27, 2014 |
28 Rules of Life... Rule #1. Life is not fair-get used to it! Rule #2. Eat an elephant, but one bite at a time. Rule #3. To better your lot, you have to be a lot better. Rule #4. If you have a friend, learn to talk to each other instead of about each other. Rule #5. True love isn’t Romeo and Juliet who died together, it’s Grandmom and Granddad who grew together. Rule #6. Life is not a movie. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to work. Rule #7. Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one. Rule #8. Never give up on something you really want. It’s difficult to wait, but more difficult to regret. Rule #9. If you can’t get someone off your mind, they are probably supposed to be there. Rule #10. Be yourself. No matter how hard you try; you will fail trying to please everyone. Rule #11. Never be a prisoner of your past. Be the architect of your future. Rule #12. Don’t wait for a perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect. Rule #13. Recognize there is a huge difference between failing at something you do and being a failure as a person. Rule #14. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength. Rule #15. If finding a perfect person is what will make you happy, then you will never be happy. Rule #16. Never make a permanent decision on temporary feelings. Rule #17. You can make the world better by making your life better. Remember, “we are the world”. Rule #18. In life, there are some people you’ll have to lose in order to find yourself. Rule #19. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… it’s about learning how to dance in the rain. Rule #20. Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it. Rule #21. To get ahead, take steps. Rule #22. Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs. Rule #23. Listen to people but never lose your voice. Rule #24. Accept what you cannot change. Change what you cannot accept. Rule #25. Don’t assume there are no crocodiles because the water is calm. Rule #26. At times, things have to fall apart before they come together. Rule #27. If you want to be broke, work for money. Rule #28. To live a life of enduring significance, you must learn how to set your own rules and follow the course of your destiny. 3 Likes |
Religion / Tragedies Of The Wicked by oghalesluv(m): 6:07am On Oct 23, 2014 |
TOPIC: Tragedies of the Wicked TEXT: 2 Chronicles 24:23-27 Key Verse: “And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the kings.” (2 Chronicles 24:25). John Flavel said, “They that know God will be humble; they that know themselves cannot be proud. That person is the greatest in God’s sight who is least aware of his spiritual stature and who is least in his own sight. When the Spirit exalts a person, he hides him in such a beautiful naturalness that the person is unconscious of his own spiritual greatness and is unconscious of his own humility.” Our text today centres on the judgment of God which came upon Joash for his aggravated wickedness. He had a good beginning but ended up as an arrogant and an ungrateful king. A small army of Syrians made themselves masters of Jerusalem, destroyed the princes, plundered the city and sent the spoils of it to Damascus. God smote Joash with a great disease; his own servants conspired against him and slew him on his bed for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada. Finally, his people denied him the privilege of being buried in the sepulchres of the kings, because he had stained his honour in his wicked reign. The purpose of our living here on earth is to do the will of God. Our emphasis in life must be on the most essential things which include being saved, living a life of holiness and preparing for the coming of the LORD. We are not to be preoccupied with the momentary and transient things such as our position in life or the influence we have on others. As we wait for the coming of the LORD, we need to daily examine our lives whether or not we remain humble before God. We must ensure that we do not use our privileges or exalted positions to afflict those who are less privileged. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The wicked shall not go unpunished. 1 Like |

Religion / Reaping Fruits Of Evil by oghalesluv(m): 5:38am On Oct 22, 2014 |
Reaping Fruits of Evil TEXT: 2 Chronicles 24:15-22 The depraved nature has always pushed man to do things that are outrightly against God and conscience, even when one has enjoyed divine blessings. In fact, experience has shown that the more blessings some people enjoy, the more prodigal they become to God. For instance, Saul, the first King of Israel, stood before Goliath of Gath in utter helplessness and God raised up David, a seventeen-year old boy to terminate the national reproach and collective shame. This feat was appreciated by Saul for a while, but he soon forgot history and sought to kill the innocent youth. In all of Israel, Joash was the youngest king to reign. He reigned for forty years. Jehoida the high priest was his godly benefactor, guiding him in the way of godliness and righteousness. He was like a father to the young King and under his fatherly guidance, Joash repaired the temple and Judah began to prosper again. But after the death of Jehoida who was buried among the kings for his goodness towards God and the people, the princes of Judah led the king into sin and apostasy. Joash lacked sufficient moral courage to resist ungodly pressures. Soon, his ears were turned away from the warnings of the prophets. Jehoida’s son, Zechariah confronted the king on the consequences of his sin and abandoning God. Rather than listen, he got him killed. There are many who act like King Joash today. Such people benefit from the goodness and kindness of other people but turn around to repay good with evil. Some people tend to lose their head when they come to fame and riches. In the case of Joash, it was worse than merely repaying evil for good, for Jehoida, Zecharia’s father was like a father to him. Zecharia‘s admonition was for the king to turn away from sin to save his soul and the people. He was not asking for any undeserved favour. Is there anyone somewhere who has pointed out the evil in our way such as should make us grateful and appreciative? Or are we thinking about how to mete out acts of wickedness to such a fellow? Let us take heed lest the curse which came upon those who did such wicked thing come on us. Those who warn us against sin should be our best friends, not enemies. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Do not repay evil for good. 1 Like |

Did you know that before Jesus died and ascended to heaven He left a Will behind? I know some people may ask what did Jesus have that He shared and who are those that He shared His Will to? Now lets' consider His Will and those that inherient His Will or those that He willed out His Will to. ~From the book of Luke.23:43 we can see that He gave His spirit to His father where He said "Father unto thy hand I commend my spirit." ~In John.19:38 we can see that he gave His body to Joseph of Arimathea. ~He gave His mother to a beloved disciple in John.19:26,27. This beloved disciple is know as John the beloved who later wrote the book of Revelation. ~In John.19:23,24, we can see from there that He gave His cloths to the soldiers. What did you think He gave to His disciples? Those that suffered with Him, those that were killed because of Him, those that left father, mother, uncle, aunty, brothers, sisters, relatives, business and everything to follow Him and witness for Him? He gave them nothing, but He just say a word and what is that word that He say to them? ~In John.20:19,21 and 26, He says "PEACE BE UNTO YOU" He said it repeatedly with great assurance in Him. Do you know that this word superseeds all other thing that He Willed out? No wonder when this world was about trying them because of His PEACE that was with them they Fear no alrm. May His PEACE that passes all understanding rest in you richly in Jesus name. 2 Likes |
Religion / You Must Be Holy~daily Manna by oghalesluv(m): 7:21am On Sep 29, 2014 |
Good morning and welcome to todays Daily Manna for Monday 29, September 2014 TOPIC: You Must Be Holy. TEXT: LEVITICUS 20:22-27 Key verse: “And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine” Leviticus 20:26.(KJV) Jim Elliff said: “God decreed from eternity past that you would be like Christ (Romans.8:29-30); He put His Holy Spirit in you to make sure that it would happen (Philippians 2:12-13); Christ prayed for you to be sanctified, and His prayers are always answered (John 17:17); He even promises you that He will lovingly discipline you in order to return you to holiness whenever you stray (Hebrews 12:5-10). How could we ever doubt that God means what He says, “Without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14)?” Holiness of life was what God demanded from the Israelites. He had planned to take the Israelites to Canaan. But since the people, who lived there were bad, God purposed to force them out of the land so that His people would occupy it. The Canaanites did not obey God’s laws and so, the land was like a sick person. God also commanded the Israelites to totally separate themselves unto Him -to be holy. God revealed that He is holy; and those who serve Him must be holy. The children of Israel were to be separated from all unclean persons and things, be devoted to God’s service and obey all His commands. That was the purpose why the Almighty God severed them from the people of the land. For us today, we must guard our lives and avoid every appearance of evil. Anything that will tarnish or stain our testimony must be avoided. We represent the most High God. Therefore, we must be above reproach; we must be people of integrity. We must also live lives of purity. His plan for bringing us closer unto Himself is “that ye should be mine.” We were bought with a price and so, we are no longer our own. Now that you, in particular, have been redeemed and set apart for His exclusive use, do not wish to be anything different from His holy intention. Thought for the day: He who will live a life of holiness must first receive the new life from God. 1 Like |

Religion / Re: Why Do People Say Jesus Died For Our Sins? by oghalesluv(m): 9:52am On Sep 27, 2014 |
Princecalm: my question is,those prophets that were killed why did you not also claim that they died for your sins? Now listen to yourself and the question you are asking me, why do i not claim that those prophet that were dead, died for our sins. Why will they die for our sins? Because they were killed do not make them die for our sins ok. After the fall of man, man fall short of the glory of God (Romans.3:23). Inother for man to regain that lost glory, He (God) promise to send a Messiah who will die so as for us to regain that lost glory. And remember that those prophect qre not the promised Messiah. God promise to send the Messiah long long ago. It can be seen in Genesis.3:13-15. All those prophet were just messengers to prepare Christ coming. If the died cause of being a prophect that does not mean that they die to take away sins of some body. Read Isaiah.7:1, there we can see that He (Christ) will come and die for the sins of the world, also in Isaiah.53:1-12 we can also why He (Christ) will suffer and His reasons for suffering. Now see the manifestation of the prophecies in Matthew.1:21 it reads"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins"(KJV). Remember that the Bible says in John.1:12 and it reads "For as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name".(KJV). If truly you have receive Him and believe on His name you would'nt have been asking this question. So my kindid advice to you is that just accept Him because He is willing to make you His child. Remember Jesus loves you dearly. Thanks and God bless. 1 Like |

Princecalm: so what will happen to our fore-fathers then since christ did not meet them, will they all go to hell?answer me.Which of the fore-fathers you are talking about? Those that were alive before Jesus came? did not some not went to haeven? If some went to heaven, what makes them went to heaven will equally make your fore-fathers go to heaven if they work by the same principle. Before Jesus came God was speaking to men and when Jesus came, God through Jesus speak to men now Jesus is interseeding for us in heaven, so God through the Holy Spirit is ministring to men today. So from the days of your fore-fathers till now men has no excuse to give for not making heaven. God bless you. Remember Jesus Loves You. 1 Like |
