If i may ask, if somebody offend you how will you feel? That is why He is God. After being angry and punish them for their sins, He never left them to stray but rather provide another means of survival for them.

pesty100: if he knows the future, why didn't know that adam and eve will eat the forbidden fruit?
He knew that Adam and Eve will eat the forbidden fruit that is why He forewarn them before hand that there is a tree in the middle of the garden called the forbidden fruit that they should not go and eat it. Read Genesis.2:16-17. But let me write donw some part of verse 17 it reads "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shall not eat... God bless you

TITLE : EXCELLENT ESTHER.

TEXT:“Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.”Esther 2:20(KJV)

The name Esther means “a star”. Indeed, Esther was a leading light. Her journey from a humble beginning to the throne of the
powerful Persian Empire started from the home of her elder cousin, Mordecai.

If anybody had excuses for failure, Esther had more logical ones. She was not only an orphan but also a captive in Persian land.
But God considered her fit to be used as a deliverer of the Jews. Even when Esther was crowned queen by the order of Emperor
Ahasuerus, she remained very submissive to her guardian.

She was directed by him not
to reveal her nationality and she totally obeyed. In these days when children are being rebellious, how glorious it is to live by the Bible’s instruction: “Children, obey your parents... Honour thy father and mother
(Ephesians 6:1, 2). It is divine duty to obey them. That’s where blessings lie.

Challenge: It’s a wonderful privilege to have godly parents

Prayer:God, help me to live an exemplary life.

TITLE : GOD OF JUDGEMENT.

TEXT:"rejoice, o young man, in thy youth; and let your heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the was of thine hearth, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgement." Ecclesiastes.11:9 (KJV)

Charles Taylor was president of Liberia, Africa`s oldest republic, for six years. That is as high as any citizen of a country would wish to rise. However, in Charles Taylor’s
case, power and glory was built on a foundation of violence, rape, murder andmaiming of innocent civilians.

He was once a President until 2003, then an exile and fugitive, and now a war criminal. The
warlord, who made many to tremble, was in free fall! Finally, in May 2013 at 65, ex-President Charles Taylor was sentenced to
50 years in jail.

A sinner may escape men’s
condemnation but without repentance and cleansing in the blood of Jesus, he cannot
escape the judgement of God. Sin may be sweet while it lasts but the pleasures of sin
are not worth the bitterness of eternal punishment that is sure to follow. Repent of your sins and be saved today.

Challenge: God’s judgement mill grinds slowly but surely, repent.

Prayer:Just as I am without one plea, Oh Lamb of God I come.

Religion / Re: God, Religion And Science by oghalesluv(m): 4:01pm On Jul 22, 2014
chuxyz: Why is it that whenever science or scientists come up with cutting-edge technology that is capable of bettering the life of mankind, or a technology that saved lives or capable of saving life, we attribute it to God. In such occasion, you see people saying "thank God o". No commendation to science! But whenever science comes up with things that is against religious believes such as weapon of mass destruction, everyone will say woe unto science! They attribute it to the Devil or mankind. I believe science has nothing to do with God and God has nothing to do with science. In fact, science on it's own is a sin. Science was as a result of the knowledge Adam and Eve got from eating the forbidden fruit. Therefore, science evolved from what is forbidden. Thereby, every christian should forbid science and scientific discovery. God never wanted man to acquire that knowledge which is intertwined with sin and evil. In my own part, i will say science is evil. So any christian using scientific gadgets should better throw it away or better still come give it to me. Lol. Science is evil so far religion and God is concerned.

Well from the your post what am concern is that you said Good has nothing to do with scoence and science has nothing to do with God. If i may ask who said so? Or where did you read it from? Any way that your point is very wrong in the sence that God knows the end from the beginning and he also said in His word in the book of Daniel chapter 1 verse 4 where science is first mention in the bible and it reads "Children in whom was no blemish but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom and cunning in knowledge, and understanding SCIENCE... So my brother God has every thing to do with science and science has every thing to do with God.

TITLE : MODERN MANIA.

TEXT:"All things are lawfull unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any" 1Corinthains.6:12(KJV)

The word "mania" means preoccupation or addiction to something. Once upon a time
addictions were all about hard drugs and alcohol, but today, there are a new set of addictions.

It has assumed a new social and
cultural dimension. In October 2013, there was a story about a teen who committed suicide. His mobile phone had been
withdrawn as punishment for not doing his homework and he could not imagine life without the device.

This led to his death by suicide. Obsessions could be deadly.
Obsession with the internet or to social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram has taken many young people
from internet use to internet dependenceand addiction. An addict will stay with his enslaving habit even when he knows that
this is ruining him.

Apostle Paul says, “all things are not expedient" and that he will
make use of legitimate things but he will never permit anything to control him. As a Christian, you should make the same declaration.

Challenge: Better be in control than be on a roll.

Prayer:Father, break every enslaving habit in my life.

TITLE : APT APPOINTMENT.

TEXT:" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, even to them who are the called according to His purpose" Romans.8:28 (KJV)

Truth be told, most people find
disappointments very frustrating. How about a flat tyre, for example, when you are rushing up to the airport to catch a flight?

Disappointments always seem to show up at the wrong time. But Domingo Pacheco’s life was saved by a flat tyre which caused him to
miss ValuJet Flight 592 that crashed in the Everglades, a few miles from Miami, in May
1996. He missed death by a whisker!

That “disappointment” was the best thing ever to happen to him all his life. The last time your
expectations were dashed, you whined, cried and murmured, perhaps even charged God foolishly. Didn’t you? But faith’s
response to seeming disappointment is, God
“performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.” (Job 23:14).

The next time the unexpected happens, take the matter
through your faith`s filter and you might just find out that it is God’s appointment foryou.

Challenge: In the eyes of faith, every disappointment is His appointment.

Prayer:Father, teach me to trust you in every situation of life.

Religion / FALSE REPORT About Deeper Christian Life Ministry. by oghalesluv(m): 7:01am On Jul 17, 2014
Deeper Christian Life Ministry HQ
FALSE REPORT!!!
“Pastor Kumuyi of Deeper Life Bible Church bans the Use of iPad & Android Devices” – Encomium Weekly. The above report has been trending in the Social media from Tuesday, 15 July 2014.

THIS REPORT IS FALSE.
There was never a time as referred to in the article, when Pastor W.F. Kumuyi made
this statement or “BANNED” the use of mobile devices in the Church. As much as every Christ-loving believer is encouraged to give God his/her full attention when in Church or in any other
place, where the Word of God is being taught, this story is HIGHLY MISCHIEVOUS and MISLEADING.

There is no doubt that Technology has its place in the spread of the gospel message as well as believers’ development where
such is put into proper use but its misuse or abuse is not encouraged.

“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: FOR ALL
MEN HAVE NOT FAITH. But the Lord is faithful, WHO SHALL STABLISH YOU, and KEEP YOU FROM EVIL” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3.
Remember, it is not everything from these sources that is true!
May the Lord keep you in the Truth and not be tossed about by errors, in Jesus’ Name.

TITLE : AMAZING YOU.

TEXT:" I will praise thee; for i am fearfully and wonderfully made... Thine eyes did see my substance, yet beimg unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written..." Psalm.139:14,16 (KJV)

You probably don't grasp the true meaning of these words. Let me help you. Look at a mirror now and you are sure to see your
face. Fourteen days hence, look again in the mirror and your face remains the same.

Science tells us that our body cells are constantly dying and being replaced. Your skin cells get damaged and are replaced
roughly every two weeks. In 300-500 days you have a new liver, in 120 days new red blood cells and in ten years you have a
brand new skeleton! The questions now are: Where are the new cells generated from?

How is it that your "new" face looks exactly the same as the "old"? You are an amazing creature of God. Beyond your
physical looks, you must realise that God has a divine purpose for creating you and He wants you to reflect His glory.

But, are you? The starting point is repentance from all sins. After that, live a consistent life of
righteousness.

Challenge: Uniquely made for a unique purpose, don’t settle for less.

Prayer:Father, live your life in me.

TITLE : WICKED WAYS.

Text:"Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed of the signs of Heaven; for heathen are dismay at them."Jeremiah10:2(KJV)

In Dying Testimonies of Saved and Unsaved, Solomon Benjamin Shaw narrated the testimony of John, an only child of a godly couple who imbibed dreadful principles
from a non-believing roommate at college. As a result, John hardened his heart towards
embracing Christianity.

He referred to the Bible as “a compiled mess of trash imposed
on the public. I would rather go to hell than bow to that impostor (Jesus Christ) and be dependent on his merits for salvation.” On
his death bed, following an accident, John cried focusing his eyes on his roommate, “You have brought me to this, and you have
damned my soul! May the curses of the Almighty and the Lamb rest upon your soul forever.”

John died without Christ. Our text
sternly warns, “…learn not the way of the heathen”. Let me ask you: Who is your friend? Some youths have through the
influence of ungodly friends become atheists. Shun evil friendship; submit to God
and fellowship with God’s children. Surely, heaven will be your reward.

Challenge: Learn not the way of the heathen.

Prayer:Lord, help me to shun the way of the ungodly.

TOPIC: The Day of God's Wrath

TEXT: JEREMIAH 25:12-29

Key verse: “For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations,
to whom I send thee, to drink it” (Jeremiah 25:15).

In the Scriptures, intoxicating wine is sometimes used to depict God’s anger and wrath against sin and all ungodliness. The effect of God’s righteous judgment would
be similar to that of an intoxicating wine, destroying their sensibilities and herding them to eternal doom.

Here, in our text, Jeremiah had prophesied that God would repay sinful nations, with Babylon occupying a very prominent
position, for their evil deeds. Judah’s years in Babylonian captivity seemed to have had
little effect in their total obedience to God’s word. Rather, they sank deeper and deeper into sin and idolatrous worship: “For lo, I
begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should you be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be
unpunished, for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts” (verse 29).

Is it possible that the same message would be preached for the whole of twenty-three
years, the same warning given and thesame alarm raised from the roof tops aboutGod’s hatred for sin and wickedness with
its inescapable consequences, and the people be not moved? Can a people or a nation remain unrepentant and unperturbed for so long? Yes, so it was then with the nations of the world in Bible
days, and so it is today.

At the moment, the anger of the Lord is still waxing strong against all ungodly individuals and nations. Although religious
houses are springing up on every corner of the city, sin has assumed an alarming sophistication. Yet, God is watching and
waiting. He has no pleasure in the sinner’s death. He requires you to repent of your sins and be reconciled unto Him. He paid
the price by making the provision throughHis dear Son, Jesus Christ.

Have you heard this message for twenty-three years, or more or less? the time to repent and to
heed His call is now.

TOPIC: A Well-Deserved Reward

TEXT: JOSHUA 19:40-51

KEY VERSE: “When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an
inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them” (Joshua 19:49).

When God appoints a man and gives him an assignment, the responsibility is on the individual to reciprocate God’s good gesture by being faithful in carrying out the assignment and discharging his or her duty very well.

It is only then that the individual
becomes a beneficiary of the reward of faithful service.
In the narrative today, the Bible recounts the story of how the land of promise was divided after it was possessed under the
leadership of Joshua. It shows how the tribe of Dan fought to increase their own portion and how Joshua, their faithful
commander was rewarded according to the word of the Lord (verse 49,50).

As believers of today, we are not to be satisfied or complacent with the little portion of grace we have, service we are rendering, or in fact, the little success we have. The Lord has promised to increase
our greatness and reward us if we faithfully and valiantly fight the good fight of faith and dispossess the enemies of the inheritance that rightfully belongs to us.
Like Joshua, what God has spoken
concerning your life will be fulfilled only if you faithfully fight and follow Him to the end. Joshua’s example is particularly
instructive, worthy of emulation by all believers. He was single-minded in His devotion to Jehovah and in His loyalty to His leader Moses, throughout His years of
services to him. At long last, Joshua triumphed through the wilderness and entered the Promised Land, led the people
valiantly and got his deserved portion in the Promised Land.
Faithfulness indeed counts and is rewardable.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your good deeds do not go unnoticed.
