Looking @ Gods' word in Genesis 1:1-30 shows us Gods' hand work of creation. From Genesis 1:1 down we see that @ the end of each creation on a particular day, the bible tells us that " And Ogd saw the light was good.."(verse 4). But when He has rounded up His creation He said " And God saw everything that He has made and behold it was very good...(verse 31). That is to say that he has created you well and there is no need to do such. Also consider David what he said in Psalm "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14. So by the time you are going to do that you are indirectly God did not create you well and you are trying to assist Him which He hates. Thanks and God bless you. Also remember Jesus loves you dearly. 1 Like |
Religion / Jesus, Incomparable Prophet. by oghalesluv(m): 7:55am On Sep 04, 2014 |
Good morning and welcome to todays Daily Manna for Thursday, September 04, 2014. TOPIC: Jesus, Incomparable Prophet. TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 18:14-22 Key verse: “The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken” (Deuteronomy 18:15). John Newton said: “When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Saviour. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons.” Moses, a great prophet of God, who received divine commendation for his earthly ministry, prophetically spoke about the coming of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though he did great exploits for the Lord in the land of Egypt and also in the wilderness, Moses disclosed the promise of the great Prophet with a command to the Israelites to receive Him and hearken to Him. Although there were those who believed that this was the promise of a succession of prophets in Israel, we are sure that it was primarily intended as a promise of Christ. Moses equally charged Joshua in particular, and Israel in general, to remember all the commandments, which the Lord had given them “to observe and do them.” Jesus Christ, the son of God, is the greatest Man that ever lived. He is greater than the greatest, wiser than the wisest because He is the wisdom of God; and He is higher than the highest because He is the everlasting Father having no beginning of days nor end of time. Speaking to the religious people of His days, He affirmed: “Before Abraham was, I am.” Christ was concealed in the Old Testament, but revealed in the New Testament. He came to the world as the Lamb of God sacrificed in order to take away the sins of the whole world. He is the ladder from earth to heaven. He is the only Mediator between sinful men and holy God. Salvation from sin and victory over Satan is only possible through faith in His blood. Whatever you are going through this day, you can experience total transformation by faith in His atoning blood. As a believer, you can enjoy daily victory as you trust in the Lord and daily obey His Word. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Life without Christ is hopeless. 2 Likes |
Religion / Divine Riches ~ Daily Manna by oghalesluv(m): 7:31am On Aug 08, 2014 |
Good morning and welcome to todays Daily Manna for Friday, August 08, 2014 TOPIC: Divine Riches TEXT: JOB 29:1-11 Key verse: “When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me; When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil” Job 29:5,6.(KJV) Hudson Taylor, a missionary to China while imploring Christians to have complete trust in God’s faithfulness, wrote, in his journal: “Our heavenly Father is a very experienced One. He knows very well that His children wake up with a good appetite every morning. He sustained three million Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years. We do not expect He will send three million missionaries to China; but if He did, He would have ample means to sustain them all.” Our text illustrates God’s power to meet His children’s needs. Job captured his youthful days when God was highly delighted in him because he also delighted in His ways. The attendant blessings were mouth-watering and splendid. It was a wholesome life, which was in the sunshine of the care and goodness of God; a blessed life that daily received the attention of heaven. Job’s testimony was not only that God loved and protected him, but it was also that God provided for all his needs, which included wealth and children. But affliction came. Not that God had forsaken him, but because it was a test on his faith in God. In schools, before a student is promoted from one class to the other, he or she must pass promotional examination. Job’s predicament, to an extent, was a spiritual promotional examination, which he needed to pass. Today, God allows us to go through certain challenges. Not that He hates us, but He wants us to attain some spiritual heights. God, obviously, loves the righteous and takes delight in their affairs. Therefore, we must learn to patiently trust Him in all areas of our lives and daily ask that He teaches us to live in accordance with His will. Our walk and continuous obedience to Him will make us to experience His very best. God is always faithful to lead His children in His perfect will. As we serve our Lord, let us do so with great enthusiasm. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Nobody has ever lacked God’s supply when he depends upon Him. 1 Like |
Religion / Strive To Enter In- A Daily Manna by oghalesluv(m): 6:58am On Aug 07, 2014 |
Good morning and welcome to todays Daily Manna for Thursday, August 07, 2014 TOPIC: Strive to Enter In TEXT: LUKE 13:23-35 Key verse: “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” Luke 13:24.(KJV) Abraham Lincoln, in a speech he made in 1863, said: “We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us.” Even now, this has been the attitude of many people. Unfortunately, some Christians are among them, living without heaven in focus. Based on the character of people, Jesus was certain that there would be few who would be saved. But He cautioned: “Strive to enter in at the strait gate.” For Him, it would take earnestness, focus and determination to make heaven. Jesus, while answering the enquirer’s question: “are there few that be saved,” was point-blank that those who merely wish they would make heaven but would not do anything about the salvation of their soul, could never get there. Many people, today, do not take this warning seriously. Some will even seek to enter through another way other than the right channel, while others will make attempt when it is too late and as such shall not be able to enter. Earnestly give serious thought to your relationship with God. How much striving have you exerted to get into His Kingdom? Are you merely wishing you will be there? Make the most of today’s opportunity to enter through sincere repentance, faith in Christ and God’s kind of righteousness. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Heaven has no space for those who refuse to get saved. 1 Like |

Religion / End Of The Wicked- Daily Manna by oghalesluv(m): 7:37am On Aug 05, 2014 |
Good morning and welcome to todays Daily Manna for Tuesday, August 05, 2014 TOPIC: End of The Wicked TEXT: JOB 27:11-23 Key verse: “This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty” Job 27:13.(KJV) Thomas Carlyle had a bitter experience with his manuscript. For months, he had, with all his resources, busied himself with the manuscript, which he hoped to turn into a book entitled, ‘The French Revolution.’ When he got satisfied with the level of efforts he put into it, Carlyle sent the manuscript to his friend, John Stuart Mill, for critical evaluation. Mill passed the manuscript on to Mrs. Chapman, who he thought would be able to make a fair comment. Unfortunately, the lady, after reading it by the fireplace on the evening of March 5, 1834, before she went to bed, dropped the manuscript on the mantel. Her maid, who came the following day to clean the room and to start the fire in the fireplace, thought the manuscript was a waste paper and used it as fuel to kindle the fire. That was how the work of many months got burned up in a matter of seconds. The catastrophe, which befell Carlyle, will certainly be a child’s play when compared to the punishment, which God will mete upon sinners, if they fail to repent. This is the fact Job laboured to expound to his friends. Job’s friends had voiced a similar opinion but had mistaken Job for a wicked man, simply because he was in great affliction. Job tried to set the matter in true light by teaching what he knew to be the mind of God and not mere human opinion. Much as he shared his friends’ idea that as a mark of God’s judgment, afflictions must trail the wicked, he knew that they did not always come the way they thought. The wicked may multiply children and “heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay,” yet, he cannot escape divine wrath even though it takes longer coming. All he trusted on earth - wealth and social connection - will be unable to save him from the storm of God’s wrath even as he dies miserably. The question is: what is your relationship with God? THOUGHT FOR THE DAY No one ever gets away with wickedness; retributive justice is sure. 1 Like |

Well i was not wanting to comment or say anything on this trend but let me say something on this trend. What i want to say on this trend is that satan is working to make sure that christains fall away from the way so he uses any medium to see that christain falls. It is not every prophecies about heaven that are real we should beware of it. Also not all stories of those that say they were dead and are back that are true. Looking it from the words of Jesus in Matthew.6:19-13. Also the bible says eyes have not seen nor ears heard neither entred into the hearts of men what God hath prepared for those that love Him. But hold thou fast to that which you have heard. Jesus loves you |

pesty100: its like the case of a thief putting gun to your Head, he says give me your money(obey me) or die(burn in hell fire), won't you say the thief is imposing his own will on you, as a ration human being your preferable choice will be to give him your money(obey) because you love you life(doesn't want to burn forever). Tell me something? its not like you had any choice in this particular situation, if there were really no threat from the thief you wouldn't have given him your money to save your life.... It pure and simple the thief has imposed his will on you; it more like an illusion of free choiceyour illustration has nothing to do with burning forever. Anyway is stil your choice to die and do not make use of that money rather you live to make that money again. Remember when there is life there is hope. Good morning and welcome to todays Higher Everyday for Wednesday, July 30, 2014 TITLE : CHECK YOURSELF. TEXT:Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? II Corinthians 13:5(KJV) Indeed, “The unexamined life is not worth living,” observed Socrates centuries ago. When you are sick, you are advised to see a doctor. He will subject you to a check-up in order to determine what is wrong with you. It is only a hypocrite that would assume that all is well when indeed things are going wrong. Many self-styled young ‘born-again Christians’ of today live in sin, indulging in all kinds of evils (I John 2:15). When you rarely examine your everyday life in the light of the Scripture and yet claim you are headed for Heaven, you are only deceiving yourself! Take for instance; when you hang around with that boy or girl in immoral affairs, you are committing the sin of fornication. The only thing you can do to avert the wrath of God is to give up all sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour. Challenge: Examine your life today and be sure of your spiritual status! Prayer:Let your Word guide me, O Lord Further Reading:Romans 8:1-17 Quotation:Know your true self. 1 Like |

He said everyone that dis obey will be burn in fire He also said that those that will obey Him will enjoy life. So if you see it is optional to you to choose either to obey or disobey Him. The choice is yours to decide. Being a loving father, He advices you to obey Him that you will enjoy life. Read Deuteronomy.28:1 to the end. From verse 1-14 tells us the blessing of obeying Him will from verse 15-68 tells us the curseing for not obeying Him so it is left for you. Obey Him and enjoy life 1 Like |

Assuming you kept something on the table and you have a child in the house with you and you are about to leave the house with the child and that thing you kept on the table, you know that the child will go and touch it. Good morning and welcome to todays Higher Everyday for Tuesday, July 29, 2014 TITLE : BETTER THAN BIRDS TEXT:“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Matthew 6:26(KJV) One health condition that is silently claiming many lives today is stress. It has been rightly called “the invisible disease”. You are exposed to it to certain degrees. A mild dose of it may do no harm and, may indeed help you face challenges. Often, stress stems from worry and anxiety, especially, about the future. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us a lesson on this subject. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow....” He said. In modern language, “have no anxiety for the future”. Yes, plan and prepare well, but have no anxiety. In the main Scripture above, Christ draws your attention to the birds which do not labour as you do but depend on God for the provision of their daily needs. If you are tempted to get anxious about emerging challenges, why not trust your heavenly Father who takes care of the birds? He will take care of you. Challenge: Never you put a question mark on God’s ability. Prayer:Father, give me unwavering faith to trust you for my needed supplies. Good morning and welcome to todays Higher Everyday for Monday, July 28, 2014 TITLE : WRONG WITNESS. TEXT:“If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong...” Deuteronomy 19:16(KJV) It is somewhat common in many parts of the world to see an angry mob beating or lynching a person that has been merely accused of an offence. It is called “jungle justice” – a situation where people take the law into their hands. Indeed, people are becoming more impatient with the slow legal process, but that is not enough an excuse to by-pass the due process of the law. This is meant to protect innocent people from unnecessary punishments. God is displeased to see a person suffer for a crime he or she never committed. This is why He gave commandment against false witness (false accusation) in the Ten Commandments. “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour”, it states. God instructed the Israelites that if a person falsely accused another, the accuser would be made to suffer the punishment he intended for the accused. And to avoid any malicious accusation, more than one witness is required to establish a matter. A Christian must not accuse people falsely. Challenge: A true witness of Christ must avoid false allegation. Prayer:Lord, help me never to accuse anyone wrongly. Further Reading: Proverbs 19: 9 Quotation:No one should by-pass the law. |

Good morning and welcome to todays Higher Everyday for Saturday, July 26, 2014 TITLE : CHRIST`S CREATURE TEXT:“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17(KJV) Seventeen years ago a troubled 12-year-old boy broke into a classroom at his elementary school in a rural Northern California town to steal $300 that classmates had saved for a field trip. Recently, he returned to repay the debt and left a thoughtful apology which reads in part, "I have enclosed this money in restitution of what I have done in an attempt to make this matter right, amends for my wrong." Says Principal James Berardi: "I hope it gives him what he wants, what he was seeking. I don't know if that was to lift a burden off him." Adds teacher Willow DeFranco: "It touched my heart." The incident has become a teaching moment at the school. Today, millions of hardened youths are being genuinely transformed through the gospel of Christ. To be in Christ involves recognising your sinfulness; a resolve to dump every sin and connect to Him by faith. No one experiences Christ and remains the same in life. Challenge: The only proof of your salvation is the changed of life. Prayer:Lord, I come to you today just as I am and surrender myself to you.
