I think the market responded positively yesterday because the President mentioned that the Portharcourt Refinery will be coming on line by year end.

I expected that to be the main point in his earlier address, how he managed to miss that surprises me. How he rambled about superficial solutions without touching on the root cause...

That is still a political statement even though is coming from Mr President. That's the same way minister of Petroleum said Port Harcourt Refinery will start working by Dec 2022 and nothing happened afterwards.

The number of issued shares of DANGFOODS will also be a significant factor as well as the exchange ratio.

So what do you advice if one is having Dangsugar or Nascon shares for now, should one wait for the merger to take place and see what Dangfoods will be listed before taking any action?

On ETERNA, someone asked sometimes ago about the remaining 40% or so.......
* Rainoil never mentioned exiting NGX
* Rainoil bought from 4 substantial shareholders or thereabout to become the highest substantial shareholder.
* The mandatory 0.1% made was just to fulfill the rules and regulations guiding the huge purchases made by Rainoil from the former substantial holders....
* As it is, no plan yet to exit, and.....if in case they opted for this in future, it will favour the remaining shareholders much more........it's going to be opposite of what ARDOVA did.

* This is my view of it.
Anyone with more update or contrary opinion can also share.

When news surfaced for Dangsugar, they all were there on queue to buy......no one is talking about the loss again..
Those that panic sold @24.40/25 would be regretting their actions by now.
