Investment / How To Print Your Own Money Legally by oguchesam: 3:17pm On Apr 05, 2018
will like to start by reminding of what took places decades, a brief history on how we get here, there has always been industrial revolution . The term 'industrial revolution' was used to describe the period by the 1830s, but modern historians increasingly call this period the 'first industrial revolution', characterized by developments in textiles, iron, and steam led by Britain, to differentiate it from a 'second' revolution of the 1850s onwards, characterized by steel, electrics, and automobiles led by the US and Germany, now we are in a new Era the information and technology, the next industrial revolution is the cryptocurrency that is the future.
Permit me to step a little into the future, in this article I will focus on the financial industry few years ago bitcoin came with the concept of decentralizing currency and that has been a great success which has eventually given birth to numerous altcoins, that is to put in a simple sentence 'each coin represents somebody's or some organization currency somewhere', they may use it for internal transactions or let external user come in to use it.
The question is why using somebodies currency if I can create mine? Let me quickly run through the advantages and of owning your own coin.
Benefits:
1. Control: Famous investor and writer Robert Kiyosaki said what the ultimate investor look for is control, how much power do you have and how far can you see? in this owning your own coin it limitless.
2. Financial freedom: This is literally printing your own money; you will never have to depend on any other currency so as to determine how much you can earn.
3. Business Power: As many people as are using your currency you have the power to control their business but please do not use this for evil purpose.
4. Purchasing Power: Just imagine you want to buy a car, you ask the dealer what currency do he/she accepts and he mentions your currency.
5. Several others I know you can mention them.
Disadvantage
1. Too much power is intoxicating.
2. Government regulations.
3. Fraud control or management issues.

Music/Radio / 3 Things Upcoming Artist Forget To Do To Succeed by oguchesam: 3:12am On Nov 16, 2016
1. Dont sell CD: Concentrate on making more people listen to your music, instead of trying to sell to prospecting fans work hard on making them buy. no body like being sold to so dont try to sell, just make a good music they are ready to buy.

2. Offer to sing for free: most up coming musician make terrible mistake of charging for every performance, it is not every performance that deserve being paid for, network effectively by working for free

3. leverage on the power of internet: Have a strong online presence, website, blogs, facebook page etc. There is a great platform for up and coming artist known as hipeeps, it combines the functions of facebook, twitter and pintrest, not just that, you can build a strong music community using this tool, there is also a paid membership feature which allows you give access to only members who have paid to listen to your music visit www.hipeeps.com.ng just imagine each person pays 1$ just to listen then an average of 100/hour in a week you should make over 2,400 dollars give it a try.

Blogging is very demanding, beyond being passionate and having sufficient content and access to the internet with a good compute, there is still one very important factor you must consider before rushing into blogging, I will share my story, back in my university days despite being a core science student I was passionate about business and financial activities, I know so much of P&L balance sheet financial statements, SWOT analysis, Capital market, mutual bonds etc. I was even testing my skills in the real market.
This passion made me to start planning on how to start a magazine to publish my ideas and promote my business, which is like blogging on hard paper, after thorough research I discover it was not feasible because the internet is taking over, even traditional publishing companies are going online, so I also transfer my idea online into blogging.
My mistake was that I thought everybody is as passionate as I am about business and finance, I mean who don't like making money? but I was totally wrong, my blog never attracted people, after a long break I decided to go into blogging about 'job opportunities in Abuja' this attracted couple of persons but soon they were asking for more, they were no longer interested in the news and updates they wanted a job! I am not a recruiter and I cant fake job so I quit.
I wish somebody had given this advice "TEST YOUR BLOGGING IDEA BEFORE LAUNCHING OUT" that is the supper advice I have for aspiring bloggers today, test your idea for at least 6 months. If somebody had told me that I will definitely take the idea but where is the platform to test this idea. None, not until I created one www.hipeeps.com.ng I created this social network to help bloggers test their ideas for about 6 months, build sufficient followers and pull traffic, hipeeps is built with the latest web technology it combines the features of facebook, twitter and pintrest easy to navigate, you can creat several groups, invite friends, send private and public messages create forum, get connected with millions and build a sustanable community. ........ OKAY.

Well done. Here's my quick review.

1. Your site isn't mobile friendly
2. Your home isn't well designed... it looks untidy
3. Showing list of members is that really necessary? I don't think so.
4. Your website has no purpose.

BTW Trying to promote your website with "bla bla bla by a Nairalander" shows you're not proud of the site YOU CREATED. So why then should we give a f**k?

Your number 1 is very correct aand am working on that already have a mobile app just preparing to upload it on app stores

As for 2,3 and 4 I will advice you visit the site using a Laptop or other device but not on mobile.
Thanks for review, looking forward to have as friend on Hipeeps

Programming / Re: A Nairalander Built A School Management Software by oguchesam: 12:29am On Sep 06, 2016
CodeHouse:
OP I see what you have done here but you need to make it generic.

Add an Admin Panel where the school will setup classes as much as they have, fees, subjects as much as they have, result grading system such that pass or fail percentages will be set so that you also won't need users to select remarks, it would be automatically selected by the system... In order words, you don't need all those dropdown fields.

Let users setup the name of school, add their logo, choose colour themes, register a web server and use cloud database (but you can allow for offline databse too), so that you don't have security issues and unwanted access to database.

The cloud database is the new normal as students can check, print their results even with a scratch card (to generate continuous income for you and the school) which will be generated by your school management software through your admin panel.

Keep in mind that in marketing, you either come up with a solution that will bring in profit for your client or a solution that will reduce cost or stress. If your app can't do those, then you might as well not build it
I truly appreciate your analysis, sorry for taking too long to reply...
About making it generic I had that in mind, as a matter of fact the next version will be written in C#, course I have that weakness in Java, I will so appreciate if you work with me on the later versions. You know, programmers in Nigeria we work in most cases alone, we do both front and back end with all that weaknesses. which is not good for the industry, the only way we can compete favorably with our US counterpart is to collaborate.
For the cloud, its part of the plan already, who ever is using the app, will not just save data in a local computer but will store them also in a cloud, that is part of after sale service.
About the scratch card I never thought of that, honestly that is a great idea! You deserve something for that bro. You are great I will like us to work together.

Programming / A Nairalander Built A School Management Software by oguchesam: 3:18am On Sep 05, 2016
I created this software to help school manage common challenges in school such as securing student information managing staff, computing exam scores etc. The name of the software is 'Akeza' I prefer to share it with my nairaland family first, before any other social campaign and promotion here is the set up file and some screen shots. Above all I want software developers to help me improve the app. Please nairalanders use it your feed back is very important, feel free to criticize it. To run the application properly you are going to need JRE and mySQL installed in your system.

lalasticlala abeg take this to FP I no sabi big boobs or kim na wetin I fit offer be dis, please help me take it to where reasonable Nigerian youth will criticize or commend my effort.

Religion / Confession A Nigerian Freemason by oguchesam: 9:10pm On Feb 25, 2016
I write this short article to correct the misconception about Nigerian freemasons and I will try my best to illustrate the exact picture also to educate anticipating masons and guide them through the right path. But I must confess, because of the secrecy involved I can only go a great extent, then keep the rest for sake of loyalty.
I join the youth chapter of freemasonry or should I say I we created it first in Nigeria De molay, 7 young men with the help of an elderly family friend, our number later grew to eleven, then I was in 200 level, all members were science students and we preserve our course, we hard great core values and serve our school and the community at large, we all graduated with good grades.
MY INITIATION: Coming into the larger society and to graduate into freemasonry I have to be a good man, employed and of course a full grown adult, we were all welcomed and accepted though at different time, date and lodge. To become a freemason you must first of all apply for a PETITION which will be reviewed and investigated, this could take quite some time, though in my case it was quite easy largely because of experience and connection.
On the night of initiation you will be carried into the lodge blind folded then a vote will be cast if it goes against you, you will be rejected and worked out blind folded this is to preserve the secrecy of the organization if you were successful you will proceed to oath taking and other rituals.
Now it breaks my heart to see people making false claims about freemasons in Nigeria, this is mostly because of what they watch in movies created by NOLLYWOOD they think it is as they watch in those occult movies.
BLOOD SACRIFICE Most anticipating masons ask me if there are blood sacrifices during initiation. Because that is what they were told, people there are no such thing, just like in any secret society, you must take oath of secrecy and service, no animal or human sacrifice.
WHAT WE DO Brotherly love is our watch word, we serve the community where we are dwell through philanthropy, the essence of freemasonry is to build you into a perfect man, as you move from 1 degree to 33 degree you master the craft. This what enjoy the most moving up the ladder, is very interesting.
HOW TO BECOME it breaks my heart to see fraudster posting online and putting up blogs and websites to recruit members please be warned, there is this website I wrote against it is www.nigeriafreemason.com it is no longer functional now there are many others similar to it. Be warned true FREEMASONS DO NOT SOLICIT FOR MEMBERS those blogs are put up by fraudster, the only way you can belong is to know a freemason ‘2B1ASK1’ masons do not really hide, just find a way to approach one if you are truly interested. Why do fraudster solicit you join? Because they want your money. Now let me make something clear to you all, do not send money to anyone claiming to be a freemason, all payment is made in a lodge to the treasurer and in most lodges if your petition fails, your money is refunded immediately, though this rule varies from lodge to lodge.
FREEMASONS CONSPIRACY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD HOW TRUE? The truth will scare you, the answer is true! Though not as the media has been advertising it, the Good God in the book of Isa 60 promised a specific of people, the ‘righteous’ the wealth and power of all the earth, this is what every freemason thrive to be – a perfect man, and the craft you learn here will usher you into accessing all the goodness in the land.
FREEMASONS ARE SATANIST? I can only explain to the extent of which I know, there is a saying in every 12 there must be a Judas, just as there are Satanist in churches, it could be possible that in some of lodges in other parts of the world bad people has infiltrate, let me stop before I write too much, you can email me if you want more details thelaw111@gmail.com you are welcome
