The Attention of Governor Umaru Tanko Al - Makura of Nasarawa State has been drawn to an online publication Title “Go To Hell!” Governor Al Makura Tells Family On Highway As His Goons Beat them To Pulp" alleging that his convoy assaulted a family on their way to Abuja.

There is no iota of truth in that publication but the misrepresentation of facts calculated to tarnish the image of his Excellency by mischief makers.
For the avoidance of doubt and to set the records straight, on Thursday 10, September 2015 about 3.pm when the convoy of His Excellency was approaching Nasarawa Eggon Local Government a vehicle was right on the middle of the road and inspite of several efforts by the police outrider and the pilot to slow the car down, the vehicle remained right in the centre of the road refusing to make way for the convoy which nearly caused an accident.

The action of the vehicle gave room for suspicion considering the fact that it was at the same area in 2003 that the convoy of former governor of Benue state George Akume now a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was attacked.

A close look at the vehicle, the Escort commander noticed a women driving with a minor in the front seat and directed the convoy to track her with caution not to push her car by the shoulder.

This took up to 3-5 minutes before the Escort commander managed to halt her. She stopped abruptly on the road forcing the convoy to also stop and other road user causing heavy traffic along the high way.

As She came out, she began to rain abuses on the Police boasting that she is a lawyer and a daughter of a police Commissioner and has the right to drive the way she wants.

Noticing her unruly behavior, the Governor directed the Escort commander to invite the Police from the nearest police station to handle the matter to avoid further congestion and obstruction of traffic on the Highway while the convoy continued on its journey to Abuja.

It is the height of mischief and irresponsibility for anybody to insinuate that Governor Almakura made disparaging comments on the woman in question.
Any body that knows Al - Makura will attest to the fact that, it is not in his character to use derogatory words on people let alone a woman, the fact remains that the governor did not engaged in any exchange of words with the woman.

We called on the press and the general public to disregard the misleading and wicked insinuation aimed at portraying the governor in bad light.

EFCC's Investigation on Tinubu

I believe that Nigerians will want to know the outcome of the EFCC investigation against BAT that was said to be of "international dimension". Rather than coming out to ask Nigerians what "Tinubu" is accused of, it will be patriotic for Lai Muhammed to charge the President and EFCC to show transparency and leadership by telling Nigerians the status of the investigation-to determine whether or not BAT has a case to answer.

For the record: At no time did ANY court acquit Tinubu of theft. Petition Against Amaechi Sent To EFCC, Presidency:
On August 5, 2015 it was reported that a group known as The Integrity Group, sent a "well detailed petition of corruption against former governor of Rivers state, Chibuike Amaechi to President Buhari and the EFCC". Neither the Presidency nor the EFCC has denied receipt of the I.G's petition. I don't want to believe that Lai Muhammed made the statement of "no petition" against Amaechi out of ignorance. I will advice that he consult with the EFCC and the Presidency, and encourage them to work on the petition so as to establish the innocence or otherwise of the former governor.

Buhari's Administration Insincerity With Anti-corruption:
Recall that on July 23, Spokesman Femi Adesina made known to Nigerians that the anti-corruption probe will only start and end with the immediate past government. According to him the President won't bother to probe the far past. He further said “The far past will includes Obasanjo and others. But the president has said he will not waste time to go that far.”

However, the above statement is in sharp contrast with Buhari comment/promise when he was running for the same office of the President in 2011 under CPC. In fact, he made it categorically that he will probe from the 1999 administration. In his own words;

A Challenge To President Buhari and APC:
One of the biggest gaffe of the immediate past administration is the inability to bring alleged corrupt officials to justice (just like its own predecessors). The President should live up to his supposed tag as an anti-corruption czar and bring corrupt officers (whether near past, far past or present) to justice. He should revisit the EFCC investigation/report against Tinubu and others; pursue the petition against Amaechi; and bring every official that has stolen public funds to justice. A couple of Years back, in Jonathan's Government. Mikano gave all the Judges, in Nigeria each a Generator set at their homes worth Millions of Naira, and that was how the Judiciary was compromised, just in case they get sued.

This letter on this article, is an enough proof to convict Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

President Buhari, this is not a vindictive act. But, it is high time your Government pursue all those that stole from Nigeria in the guise of PDP until they are all locked up, and monies returned back into the coffers of the country.

Mr. President, all these N.G.O's should be looked into too, as those corrupt PDP thieves, used them as a conduit for wiring millions of stolen Dollars Overseas.

A PDP chieftain in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers state, Mr. Alala Osondu, has been killed. According to reports, he was assassinated close to his home in the Ada-George area in Port Harcourt at about 12.30am today July 21st. He was said to be returning from a political meeting when he was attacked by people who trailed him. The Rivers state police commissioner, Chris Ezike while confirming the incident, said further investigation into the matter is ongoing.

No!!! Companies in lagos pays tax to federal government. Federal government collect taxes which includes VAT,CIT,WHT e.tc . Lagos state is only entitle to collection of PAYE and some extreneous taxes
