Oshiomhole, who was overwhelmed by the kind reception he received, marvelled at the embrace His Royal Highness extended to him.
He indicated that his purpose in going to the Senate was to restart the wheel of progress from where it had stopped at the conclusion of his administration in November 2016.
His aim, in his words, is to build roads, build schools, build hospitals, involve his constituents in federal agencies, provide true empowerment in terms of infrastructure, and create an environment that will allow businesses to flourish.

Why PDP/ LP Needs To Be Worried With Tinubu's Successful Rally In Abia State Matters Arising
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in Abia State three days ago as part of his nationwide tour to educate Nigerians on the need of electing him as their country's next president. Because it was so massive and intimidating, they didn't want to talk about it, so they pretended that it never happened.
In light of the fact that Abia State is a PDP-controlled state, as well as the fact that it is viewed as a centre for the Obidient movement and a member of the South East States, they declined to trend the rally because they were disappointed with the overwhelming support Tinubu received from the state's residents.
Due to the size of the crowd, I bet that Tinubu would smile for a very long time.To the chagrin of the opposing parties, Tinubu would undoubtedly get more votes in the South East than the required 25%, as you can see.
With so many vested interests fighting against themselves to the detriment of the oppositional parties, the South East is sitting on a ticking time bomb. They have been successfully drawn into an opposition within an opposition, making it a four-tier of oppositional forces fighting the APC in the region.
Prior to this year's election, the PDP ruled the South East as a lone, unstoppable force, but the least-populated INEC zone is currently at war with the following potent groups within themselves.
Unknown Gunmen, IPOB,PDP and LP.
Since IPOB claims to have no affiliation with the Unknown Gunmen, it is safe to refer to them as distinct entities from IPOB. As a result, we arrived at the four forces that will be competing against one another in the upcoming presidential elections in the South East.
Now that IPOB, every other political party, and the Unknown Gunmen are all trying to make a point, there is a desperate effort on the part of everyone involved.
Before I proceed, let me clarify unambiguously that numbers exist in all aspects of life; the only difference is that some have more than others.
For example, the level of traffic at a police divisional headquarters may lead you to believe that the world is occupied entirely by criminals and supercops.
If you believe that everyone feels the same way you do about Nigeria and that a revolution is imminent, you may find it amusing that even a greater number do not share close to your beliefs.
This is what we mean when we talk about structure, for instance, the APC, the party in charge of the Federal Government, has thousands of appointees from the South East who are either board members, federal commissioners, ministers, or other aides.
Then there's the PDP, the region's dominant ruling party, which has a similar structure and even more across the states.
Therefore, by default, a number of families are prepared to defend their interest in the APC, whereas a larger population of residents is prepared to support their interest in the PDP for the same reasons at the state level, which offers far more than you can imagine in comparison to appointments to the federal government.
A state with 5000 SA, for instance, is guaranteed to receive at least three to five additional votes from his immediate family because of this position, regardless of how little or large.
Therefore, going forward, the PDP in the South East should be more worried than the APC because their primary voters are now split between the LP, as represented by Peter Obi, the ESN/IPOB, and Unknown Gunmen.
Tinubu, as a Southerner, would have default sympathetic votes from the South East, especially from those who don't want their votes to be wasted and don't want power to return to the north. Tinubu is their safe bet.
No matter how you look at it, the other political parties in the South East are all branches of the same tree. You can't offer what you don't have. Obi was still a member of PDP as recently as eight months ago. IPOB and Unknown Gunmen are opposed to elections in Nigeria and have forced many of its members to destroy their voter registration cards in the past.
So, in a scenario where Ebonyi State is APC, Imo State is APC, Abia State is a member of the G5 PDP gang that has sworn to work against Atiku, we are left with Anambra and Enugu.
Even Anambra is uncertain because of Charles Soludo, the state governor, who has fiercely opposed Peter Obi. Soludo naked Peter Obi at the market square and was the first to suggest that Peter Obi is only running for his own interests.
Is it even better in Enugu? Former Governor Nnamani, a PDP senatorial candidate, is campaigning for Tinubu.
To make matters worse, the Obidient followers are so arrogant, acerbic, and ill-mannered that they believe only fools would vote for the APC. They keep reporting that APC is hiring individuals for their campaigns, and one wonders whether these are not their own people.
The whole South East vote, which is equal to or less than Kano and Lagos combined, is now divided into four sections, as opposed to the traditional pattern of voting in the South East.
So let us wait and see how the South East will get out of this mess that they have created for themselves. It is sad that as the election approaches, unknown gunmen will strike with more force, making it even more difficult for these people to gather how much more come home to vote.

Adams Oshiomhole led a combined group of high military echelons from Edo North to advance into Igarra and secure all areas for the APC from top to bottom(Presidency to House of Assembly) after a successful airstrike that commenced from Owan East that resulted in the espionage of rebels within their servicemen.
The Artillery Corps, which provides fire support for infantry or armoured formations, is made up of units armed with tactical missiles, howitzers, cannons, mortars, jet-propelled artillery, and anti-tank artillery. Their mission is to eliminate all opposing forces in Akoko Edo and completely destroy their formations, which include tanks, artillery, anti-tank weaponry, aircraft, air defence, and other critical assets.
The lack of stewardship and development by the PDP state government and its lieutenants who are commissioners or special advisers in Akoko Edo since after the administration of Adams Oshiomhole is a representation of how the PDP has failed the citizens in its call to duty.
Following the invasion, special forces erected barricades to further limit the advancement of opposition parties into their secured territories.

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has challenged the people of Ikhin in Owan East LGA of Edo State to question Senator Francis Alimikhena , who represents the district, if he is an ORACLE of development or an ORACLE of poverty.
Oshiomhole charged the locals during a ward rally held in Ikhin,after hearing their laments that their community had been without light for seven years since Oshiomhole left government.
Given that they have a governor and senatorial representation, it was a soul-searching question.
Oshiomhole cautioned them to be wary of individuals who have failed to fulfil their duties as senators for Edo North for the past seven years but yet want to be re-elected for a third time despite having done nothing to merit it.
The ward rally was a big success because of the large turnout; citizens testified about how Oshiomhole has touched their lives and their regrets since he left government. Many opposition members also defected to the APC.

It was more than contagious and evoked strong emotions when watched; the crowd was organic, and the love was invigorating; it was simply a moment to reflect on the contributions you have made as an individual to humanity.
People in each of the wards Oshiomhole visited were assured that Tinubu will restore their faith in a greater Nigeria and that every state would be moving toward sustainable development, much like Lagos State, which is today the pride of Africa.
The message is crystal clear: this is a formidable ideal team for forging ahead with sustainable growth and development for the Nation.
Mind you, Oshiomhole is touring with confirmed street generals who are veterans of both the grassroots network and national politics, and with each of these visits, scores of opposition party members are harvested.

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, the APC senatorial candidate for Edo North, yesterday received royal blessings from Chief Stanley A Musa Evbogbai, the Agbuza of the Ihievbe Clan in Owan East LGA.
As part of his ward-to-ward tour, Oshiomhole made a stop at the palace of the traditional ruler to pay his respects and ask for his royal blessings before the upcoming general elections on February 25.
Oshiomhole arrived at the palace with his campaign team, which included his campaign director, Comrade Abdul Lawan, Hon. Gani Audu, Jarret Tenebe, Barr. Okaka, Waziri Oshomah, Seidu Oshiomhole, Ernest Oyaole Aitalegbe, and others.
The former governor of Edo State articulated persuasive justifications for running for a Senate seat in the National Assembly, which boiled down to genuine service to the people and a way to carry on the good deeds from where he left off as the Executive Governor of Edo State.

Oshiomhole stated that it is not his duty as a Senator to buy grinding machines for a few widows among thousands of widows. He claims that deceiving the public by providing one or two motorcycles to a limited number of youths among thousands is not the right way to lift the people out of poverty.
Oshiomhole asserted that his task as a senator would be to ensure that solid infrastructure development births in Otuo, stating that he was hungry to kick off where he left off as Governor by investing in basic infrastructure such as quality health care, electricity, water, good roads, empowerment, an educational revolution, and other initiatives.
He also stated that he would advocate for policies that would accelerate Otuo's development, Oshiomhole spoke about representing and bringing to the attention of the nation the struggles of his constituents, recalling his background and upbringing and stating that he has always fought for justice starting at the age of 17.
He said that because he was an activist governor while serving as governor, he has no choice but to be an activist senator who would make his constituents proud by consistently fighting for them.
Oshiomhole talked about the road revolution he started in Owan East and the fact that the Otuo link road is one of the longest roads he built in the state while in office.

Oshiomhole Outlines Strong Arguments For Tinubu's Removal Of Fuel Subsidy As IPMAN Endorses Jagaban
Yesterday at the APC Presidential Campaign Secretariat in Abuja, the leadership of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, endorsed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party's candidate for president.
The Association, led by its Vice Chairman, Comrade Zarma Mustapha, listed many of Tinubu's achievements as Lagos State Governor as well as their reasons for endorsing his candidature, and pledged their full support for his presidential bid.
Former Edo State Governor and former NLC President Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, who represented Tinubu at the historic event, thanked the independent petroleum marketers for their unwavering support for Tinubu's presidential bid, which he said is based on their confidence in his performance.
Oshiomhole, who recalled how he had previously fought against the removal of fuel subsidies due to their corrupt practices, however, provided compelling justifications for why he has become a proponent of the removal of oil subsidies in recent times.
Complete deregulation of the downstream sector, he claims, would have a positive economic impact and accelerate the nation's unprecedented developmental growth in all areas.
For example, the 5% of Nigeria's total budget that was then used to guarantee subsidies was reasonable because the remaining 95% that the FG controlled was sufficient to run the country effectively. Unfortunately, Nigeria has moved from that state to one in which the FG now spends between 6 and 7 trillion Naira to fund subsidies.
Now the country borrows to import and then continues to subsidize the same fuel it imports, resulting in massive fraud and inefficiency in the oil industry that is no longer sustainable.
He claims that independent marketers have the right to operate in the market without having to rely on the NNPC to allocate fuel to them in order for them to sell their products.
He asserts that he once advocated for the removal of oil subsidies and then canvassed for the demand for appropriate wages in anticipation of the consequences of the subsidy withdrawal.
In order to sell their products, independent marketers would instead rely on their business acumen rather than their connections within the NNPC, which is one of the benefits of eliminating fuel subsidies.
It also encourages more indigenous participation from independent marketers while also allowing Nigeria to account for its oil exploration.
Subsidies removed, Nigeria can generate more revenue for unprecedented growth without borrowing new funds. More good roads , faster transportation and more infrastructure would lead to the prosperity of all businesses.

Underdogs, veterans, favourites, and other terms like these are frequently used to describe participants in certain sporting events or competitions.
There are some fighters who are viewed as a god with a small g in some clash of the titans-style Roman battles, and they are unbeatable not because the judges are on their side or the crowd is chanting their names, but rather because of their antecedents.
Troy, for instance, faced no opposition; if he challenges you, think of it as your last day on earth.He was regarded as a god with a small letter g. His rivals and their supporters are well aware that they would never stand a chance against him in a contest.

Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State, is known by many nicknames that are attached to his past and present accomplishments. These nicknames are not only breathtaking, but they also have historical roots in his antecedents.

Welcome to "2023 Watch," our daily examination of polling data and survey research on the various political candidates, voters, and issues that will shape the federation's general elections in February.
Today's focus would be on recent political developments in Edo North, which have surpassed our wildest expectations.
The increase can be attributed to the upcoming senatorial election, in which various party candidates are attempting to make a strong impression on voters. This expansion is not limited to the APC and the PDP.
Residents of Edo North are genuinely alarmed by Adams Oshiomhole's recent rise in popularity, which made it necessary to conduct a census to determine who is most likely to win the seat in the upcoming election.
Our data analysis focused on electorates in the senatorial district's six local government areas, which are Etsako West, Etsako East, Etsako Central, Owan West, Owan East, and Akoko Edo.
We interviewed approximately 1600 people using both electronic media (all social media platforms) and in-person interviews. All respondents claim they have their voters card and would be voting in the general elections.
The polls opened at 10 a.m. on January 1st and closed at 12 p.m. on January 9th. In terms of numbers, the APC senatorial candidate, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, has a clear advantage over the PDP and other political parties, with over 65% of votes expected to be cast in his favour.
Despite being early, the poll foretells trouble for the PDP because its candidates seem to be unknown as a result of the protracted crisis that the party's candidates are currently facing. The former governor of Edo State has a sizable advantage over his rivals as a result of this indifference.
The incumbent senator for the senatorial district, Sen Francis Alimikhena, is currently running on a shared ticket with Paschal Ugbome of the PDP, while the other political parties are considered mushroom candidates.
Further inquiries into what influenced their decisions yielded three major reasons why the people have sided with the Deputy DG of the APC presidential campaign council.
Oshiomhole's previous accomplishments are a major reason for their votes, with the claim that Oshiomhole performed so well for the Afemai people that he can never be ruled out as a force to be reckoned with.
