I think our problem is... our government have not outgrown the "government" that brought us to independence. the engine of Nigeria's car have not been serviced since 1960. we need to flush out those bad "oils" and put in strategic thinkers of the future. reduce the aged grade of activeness in politics and even start training the future government from quite a tender age.


What is your opinion?.

Orange drugs did this to me... I went for all interviews and passed so well, that even one of their workers that stumbled upon my interview results said I deserved the job. I even turned down other job openings. my family, relations and everyone that knew me were praying... suddenly, just before Christmas, they hurt me with a regret mail. I didn't even know how to tell my people. My X'mas was destroyed... and even right now I have lost all zeal to apply for another job.



It still hurts pretty much.




but I guess they don't even care one bit.

My girlfriend of 2 years is about to leave me. the signs are everywhere. i am not financially stable for now but i love her so much. my income is small(30k) a month and i am planning seriously to get a better job before settling down.

She is 29 and already worried because she has a very good paying job and a lot of pressure is coming for her to settle down. family and friends are worried why she is still single and alot of other guys have been coming for her. a read a chat with her and her friend on her phone one time and the friend was telling her to leave me for another rich dude.

She has been very patient with me but its like her patience is running out since she is getting close to 30. she said she is ready to marry me the way i am that we will manage our income together till i get a better job since her income is better. she also said some families dont even earn half of what she earns and they are fine, she said she cant wait for me anymore that she wants to settle down but am scared because i feel a man should have enough before settling down and i want to be a real man. should i go ahead and marry as she suggest since she has a good job or i should beg her to be patient till i find another job so i can be a better husband. i dont want to loose her, i believe she is my wife and i told her from the first day i met her. pls how can i handle the situation. matured advice please.

Guy, breathe, you are not going to loose her... but I don't see anything holding you from taking that big step. it's not like you are jobless, so no one can say you are jobless or not hardworking, get married. God grants special favour to married couples, you'd get a better job. just tie the knot already. You are just scared, thinking it's one big thing so you have to get the world first... Na only to collect marriage list and pay dowry o. then sign paper for court, that's all and she's legitimately yours.

think about how you'd feel if you loose the only woman you desire because of the pursuit for vanity.

INEC lied, they were severed notice of appeal says Abia AG

Contrary to claims by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that they did not receive any Notice of Appeal from Governor Okezie Ikpeazu or an injunction stopping the Commission from issuing a Certificate of Return to Dr. Uche Ugah, the Attorney General of Abia State, Mr. Umeh Kalu, has said that INEC lied in its claims.

A proof service has shown that the Commission did indeed receive the two important documents and it was signed for by Saleh N. Ibrahim, Senior Clerical Officer at the Legal Services Department of the Commission's Headquarters, Abuja, who stamped the Notice of Appeal and Injunction with the Commission's official stamp by 12.50pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

"It's unfortunate that INEC said that it was not served. But the truth is that they were served. I have a proof to that. Saleh N. Ibrahim, Senior Clerical Officer at the Legal Services Department of the Commission's Headquarters, Abuja, who stamped the Notice of Appeal and Injunction with the Commission's official stamp by 12.50pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

"With the foregoing, it is now clear that the Commission had no reason or cause to proceed with their dangerous action of issuing a Certificate of Return to Dr. Uche Ogah when it was clearly in receipt of a Notice of Appeal and Stay of Execution expressly forbidding them from taking any further action on the Judgment of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court pending the determination of the Appeal in the case.

"It is rather surprising that the Commission could lend itself to be used for an act capable of destabilizing a State in Nigeria with the attendant consequences for anarchy and breakdown of law and order." Kalu said.

The Abia State Government wishes to reiterate for the umpteenth time that Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu remains the Governor of Abia State irrespective of whatever order was issued by the Federal High Court and the consequential actions of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) pending the full exhaustion of all judicial avenues of seeking redress.

Abia State is a peaceful State consisting of law-abiding citizens but their patience should not be stretched and their civility taken for granted. The citizens of Abia State will resist any attempt to subvert their will which they freely expressed at the polls and which was affirmed by the Supreme Court.
