Certification And Training AdvertsRe: Who Knows About SAP And ERP? by oje(m):
Hey!

Nice to see this topic.

I went for SAP training in India. I got back this year. My problem is that i have not been able to crack into the few organizations that have implemented SAP. I friend of mine has linked me to a guy implementing for UAC. Maybe i will get started there soon, otherwise, i am looking out for opportunities where i can be of service to my country via the huge robust Technology.

There are more opportunities abroad though, and the pay out there will be mind blowing, but getting a job abroad does not come easy too.

I advise you go ahead and learn it as it has very robust tools in the package ( I learned SAP Netweaver, I also had a look at SAP securities, Knowledge management,  etc.), but it will be good if you have opportunities of getting into US or Europe.

TEE ZERO, as for the no. of SAP MD in Nigeria, may i ask for permission to call him too?  All the Best Jeffman!
BusinessSecurity Monitoring, Vehicle Fleet Management, And Stolen Phone Deactivation by oje(op): 3:47pm On Apr 19, 2007
Seun,

Below is a business i am working on too. if it has anything to do with your ideas, you can hit me on ojekere@yahoo.com so we can talk.

welldone!

I just got back to the country after one year training abroad and my Very rich Uncle wants to set me up on the following project, as against my going back abroad to work.

The project is of three lines of businesses;
(a) Security monitoring Services (personal, Home and Remote access)
(b) Vehicle (fleet) Monitoring and Management (Vehicle operations management, cash or valuable in transit)
(c) Platform for deactivating stolen telephone (GSM) handset from operating in all gsm network.

As for Security monitoring service and Fleet management ("a & b" above), I already have the technology and means of executing them. What i do not know, which is where i need your help is;
(i) which existing companies are already operating in this line of business (please include addresses if you can)
(ii) Market analysis of this business, how many Nigerians will be willing to subscribe to such services.

As for the last one, Platform for deactivating GSM handsets, my Uncle is insisting on a technology that deactivates the handset completely when ever it is reported stolen! in which case, the handset could never be used again.
But i (being a Nigerian) prefer a technology that could help recover the handset and possibly apprehend the thief (of course, with the help of the GSM operators by giving us information on the new no. that is using that particular handset after it has been stolen and the Sim card changed). this way, the new user can be lured to declare his current address and subsequently arrested for purchasing a stolen phone.
Remember: the main purpose of the plat form is to discourage thieves from stealing phones which would at the long run be useless to them.
I personally think Nigerians will be more willing to pay for the later technology than the former, which only deactivates the phone but have no information on the whereabout of the phone or if justice has been dealt to the thieve that stole it.

Thanks @Toyin.

I am still waiting for company names and addresses for analysis.

Hello fellow Nigerians,

I have immensely gained from your contribution to other people's thread here on the forum and I thought it would be wise if i posted a project i am currently working on so i can get an analytical view from all you intelligent guys.

Fellow Nigerians, talk to me!
Should i work on this or just run back abroad and chicken out!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Saddam Hussein Is Dead by oje(m): 10:09am On Jan 05, 2007
@Stenach,

I agree with you. I dont know what BigB1 and Eassy are saying;

I repeat;
The beautiful write up buy most of these guys in support of Saddam does not convince me at all,

The same guy can write a very good story about Abacha and you will think He was a saint.
a writer is saying dying by hanging is most brutal than amongst injections and shooting, etc,
if he died by firing Squad (shooting) he would still have something to say about it being the worst form, humans can be very shallow minded!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Saddam Hussein Is Dead by oje(m): 5:20am On Jan 04, 2007
Good story @ Alabiyemi,

Yea! yea!! yea!!!, it looks so good,

Nut tell us what really happend on ground or ask those who where present there.

Even Abacha has a better testimonial than this. the beauty of a story lies on the hands of the writer or the mouth of the story teller.

If you want to be more sure of this write up, ask the families of those he killed to tell it to you again. embarassed

I guess i should be a writer now, Engineering is getting boring for me tongue
FamilyRe: Marrying A Woman 5 Years Older by oje(m): 12:06pm On Jan 03, 2007
@Teslim,

I see some flaws in your first comment.

I still can break up the whole thing. In my mind I call her baby mama! Though I think I love her too.[

the above statement tells me you would like to get out but don't know how.

I suggest you find a way to getout as soon as you can because if you truly loved her, you would have stated this explicitly. You can not live a life with a woman for over fifty years with this kind of feeling you have got now. the only thing that can keep you with a woman of such attributes in years to come is true love and natural likeness. I dont think this is your case.
So get the crush-veil out of you eyes and see beyond your nose. You can not afford to joke or toy with a womans heart, tell her the truth now like a stitch in time and "save nine". She can still find somebody older, that will love her better now than when she drops a kid for you. (likewise you).

But if you want to restate your comment ie. tell me how much you love her, then i have another advice for you

My candid opinion!.

Whether the system has failed o!

or the people has failed o!!

or the thugs have failed o!!!

one thing remains the same;
if you expect a change or are waiting for a better day, you need to be alive and not dead, to achieve or experience it.
"No matter how hungry a hunter will be or his family is, even though he has not found a bush meat to kill in weeks/months, he will not be so desperate to hunt for lions in the forest. he will still look for bush meat, otherwise the lions might be more hungry than he is.

If this people died because they where fighting corruption in Government houses, i will understand because they would have been called "Heroes"

TravelRe: Another Fuel Blast In Lagos: by oje(m): 9:44am On Dec 28, 2006
As for me, anybody who still blames the government for these occurrences is a joker. he or she should know better by now that it would have done more good to spend that same time and strength to say something else, like praying for the country.
I believe some people here have their parents or relations working in Government positions, be it a public school teacher or a local govt chairman. why don't they blame these their relatives rather than waiting for Obasanjo or Tinubu to do watch night over the pipelines, huh

People who died made their choices themselves. they dint ask the government to make the choice for them. If a man is starving, and frustrated and thinks there is no way out of his situation due to political or economical situation of the country, he has his own choices, he either sits in his house for death to come or goes outside to embrace it. what ever his choices are at this time depends on his level of frustrations and common sense, which is not so common.

If those who died can speak, they will tell you that they new the risk they where taking and just tot it would not happen when it was their turn.(especially if they have seen people do it successfully) its the same thing as girls who go into prostitution or guys who swallow drugs to sell abroad. just that the casualties are different from the perpetrators of the act.

i am sure those who got the pipe burst ed are very far from the area now as they have done the deal they want and because they know the consequences of burst pipes, they have gone very far.

They are going to burst another one tomorrow and do their thing a short time and fly again, leaving ignorant (but not innocent because they made d choice) people to roast. (people who burst pipes don't roast with the flames, believe me. they know what they are doing. otherwise they would have stopped by now).
I am quite sure if you give them a second chance, they will repeat it, otherwise just wait a while and God forbid there is another burst or vandalism, it will surely happen again, and we all come here and cry the Govt foul!

it keeps happening and we keep blaming,

The day we start to blame ourselves, i will know we are getting close to redemption.

As far as you dad or mum has not done anything about it, you have no right to Judge the Govt because our parents, collectively, are the Govt.

My opinion though!!

MOROCCO, (your name is funny though),

Your tribute is great! I could not stop reading it till the end. The richness of your vocabulary is equally excellent.
You have proven the kind of stuff Nigerian law students are made of. I am most impressed.

I want to assure you that even though you did not have the opportunity to fully show you appreciation to Pastor Bimbo, she Is seeing you from Heaven, She can only be impressed if her impact in you continues to be evident in your life.

I love her dearly and miss her so much. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.

NB:
Sorry i only got to comment one year late.
FamilyRe: Should I Cheat On My Wife? by oje(m): 10:18am On Nov 10, 2006
HI Poster,
If i were you, i will print a hard copy of the responses from AK123 & Gospelman and read them every morning until it sinks  into your head. They have said it all. there is nothing more you need to know that the gospelman did not write.

even though i sympathise with you on this deceptive emotions that has befallen you( because it not uncommon, it could happen to anyman, even me. those that are cursing you are doing so because they knowlittle. It takes the grace of God to withstand emotional attacks built up by the devil himself), i want to let you know that it is not enough to read advices posted here, you have to take action too. otherwise all the advices you have read here will fly out of your brains the moment  you see or come in contact with  the yeye girl.

If you are seeking for help because you do not want to commit adultry, then i want to guaratee you that you have already done so. (lustful thoughts). But dont worry, God almighty is merciful.
But if you are looking for help because you love your wife and want to save your family from distruction, then you must do as gospelman has said.

In addition or if things dont come under control still,(worst case senario) you must tell your wife about it, in a systematic way so that she does not get heart broken. I am sure she will join you in effort to clease those lustful thoughts out of your confused brains.

i wish Pastor Bimbo Odukoya was still alife (May her soul rest in peace, Amen.), you would have gotten help with just a phonecall to  her.

Always remember that the devil has no other job than to look to & fro the earth for whom to steal, kill and/or distroy. Dont be a victim!!
Life is beautiful for you now, not because MTN said so, but because you are at peace with your loved ones, (especially your wife).

Well said Ronke. I see what you mean. I actually have not taught of it this deep but you just opened my eyes to some lateral thinking (think outside the box).
I believe things will not always remain the same. Someday, their will be a change and we shall see, good or bad

You still dont understand dude!

you are not contributing to my search yet! the search is about
'perceiving her actions and not reacting to her actions",
'knowing what she wants before doing what you have to do"

do you get it now? grin
RomanceRe: How To Tell If A Girl Likes You by oje(m): 5:02am On Sep 13, 2006
@Dom,

My mission is to see if there is really a way to tell if a girl likes you.

I am presently in the situaltion. There is a Beautiful Indian girl that i like, but getting to know if she likes me is becoming complicated. sometimes i think she does but then she responds the way i think tell tat she doesn't.
This is not a mater of if she loves me or not because we are not 'there' yet.
I do not think it is enough to judge with some kind of 'look' or 'attention' she gives me because it could be as a result of the fact that i am an international in their land and so she is just been 'nice'

Do you get what i mean now? @Damolllar

This is a very intersting topic. Sadly, so many people still don't understand the question, hence, they are not answering appropriately.  sad
Personally, I think there is no direct or correct answer for the question, as we all know, people are different. But sincerely, at this age, most of the suggestions i read (which i really enjoyed, though) might lead you to a "hard knock". things no longer  work as they use to.
i particularly enjoyed the contributions of Lexyflexy and Hausa Chic,  -smiley

Donnie,
you are really loaded. I can feel your faith. I am happy people like you have deep understanding of what we are. So many peolple are where they are now because they dont even know who they are in Christ Jesus. I wish i had enough words to release the understanding of the word of God to these people who are short of it.

its so wonderful to see what ways Nigerians, home and abroad, can communicate in important topics/issues like this. i am particularly impressed by SBUCareer for his intellegent and mature ways of running things here. i must admit that i have learnt so much reading the comments on this site. you guys are wonderful.
I would like to know more about what you do (SBUCareer) because, i am presently doing some trainig in India (LnT infotech, Chevron SBU).
its good to know that Nigerians are now getting into more serious things like what i have seen here. I got linked to this page when i was searching for a Java 'tutorial for domies' (because i have to get used to Java in a few weeks before i start to train on what I came here for {SAP}). Its a wonder how Googles linked me here, it shows that this webpage has revcieved alot of patronage.
God bless the people behind the evention of this Website.
