Once upon a time, "there was a rich King who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with all his riches robes and treated her to the finest delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best. He also loved his 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another, so he spent his whole life caring for her and pleased her. He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem he could confide in her and she would help him get through the difficult times. The King’s 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, the King did not love the 1st wife. Although she loved him deeply. His 1st wife loved him so much and so deep but the King hardly ever noticed her. One day the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, “I now have 4 wives with me, but when I die, I’ll be all alone.” Thus, he asked the 4th wife, “I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I am dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No way!” replied the 4th wife and she walked away from him without uttered another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart. The sad King then asked his 3rd wife, “I have loved you all my life now that I’m dying will you follow me and keep me company? “No!” no way! I can't! she replied “Life is too good! When you die, I am going to remarry!”. The King heart sank and turned cold, He was totally depressed. He then asked the 2nd wife, “I have always turned to you for help and you’ve always been there for me. When I die will you follow me and keep me company?” “I’m sorry, I can’t help you out this time!” replied the 2nd wife. “At the very most, I can only send you to your grave.” Her answer came like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated. Then a voice called out: “I’ll live with you and follow you no matter where you go.” The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was so skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said “I should have taken better care of you when I had the chance!” In truth, we all have four wives in our lives: Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort was lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. And our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However our Soul is the only thing that will follow up wherever we go whether Heaven or Hell. So cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout eternity. 1 Like

sokarsenal: Rationalmind, samguine,.skateboard, ojestas, jimwalex and other Stream 1 corps members in camp should please come and tell us theirs or other people experiences on redeployment/relocation in camp.......I heard the list is out in most camps.....things like if the person got the state they choose, reason for relocation, success rate, etcI requested for south west, but emphasized on Oyo. I saw Kwara. If you use a genuine doctor's report, u surely would be posted to wherever you want. |

I personally dislike what's going on here. .That some people are camping already and some aren't yet doing there's doesn't means nothing. Infact, we are all Batch B corp members, i m less concerned with stream I or II. The house is still one. Some people take it too personally when a stream I corp talks here, even if S/he is only joking. Should we leave the thread or what??. What's the beefing all about? We are both getting thesame allowee, gonna pass out these day. .So what's the beef all about? Na wa o. . faamo419 wrote something here and people started (MIS)quoting him. "U ARE WRONG" is a mere SLANG. Everybody in camp must have gotten his/her allowee and stream II will also definitely get theirs...no big deal. I dey even fear to write sef so i won't get misquoted. Hahaha....GBAM......that's Nigerians for you......it is the same people that came here to complain about rubbish toilets and hygienic conditions, regimented lifestyles, etc some days ago that would still come and act like we are missing anything we have not experienced in life before.....even my man Ojestas that was 'in spirit at home and body in camp' just 5 days into camp is now claiming I'm missing something heavenly........lolGet me right! i don't like being misquoted. I am not Saying its heavenly and i am not saying it is not. What looks like a bad or bitter experience to me might feel good to you. Not everybody here is complaining. i love the experience. either you enjoy camping or not; i tell u, its not an experience worth missing. Despite all my complaints, i am still in camp and alive and in 6 days , m coming out with a handful of story and experience . 4 Likes |

jaybros: Hey kayD campers at d moment, could any of you drop a low down on the "unknown" necessities stream2 corpers(initially posted to jigawa but will camp in kayD) should ensure they bring to camp for an easier experience?S.O.R, Call up letter and school ID card. Make like 5 copies each, though they haven't been requested for. As for the passport, you would be asked to snap another passports with the crested NYSC shirt, U can make like 20 copies of this so that you can make use of it in camp. Nevertheless, come with few passports. Welcome to black Gold camp in advance. but The soldiers no dey try. They don't allow us rest except on Sundays. |

Been running up and down sinz morning, carrying bags of rice, tomatoes . et al. I was even assigned to count all those fishes all corp members will eat tonight. As i m typing, i m typing with the left hand only, right one is frozen. But i prefer this to listening to one boring lecture, sitted on the bare floor. . Parade ground is now another thing ground o. what guys and babes use it for these days has defeated the reason for the parade ground. . people of God. Make una help me praise God. Yesterday, a soldier asked me to tuck in my white, i think say na one small soldier not knowing its their olori oko. i tucked in a part and left the other side. .The next thing, i heard a shout. EHhhh, Are you too fat too get tucked in. The shout trembled me. .sharp sharp, i tucked in. .he wanted to discipline me but i take SORRY SIR kill am. corpers were like Guy, congrats o.
