He was smart enough to send me to a secondary school (Federal Government College) where the current GCEO of the NGX was my bunk mate for a few years.
He was smart enough to send me through studies that ensured that some of the VFD guys were my seniors at KPMG.
He was smart enough to show me investing through visualisation of his Standard Bank of Nigeria shares which metamorphosed into First Bank PLC, Julius Berger PLC shares or is the afforts of late Engr Aret Adams through whom the family invested in the NDEP PLC.
He was smart enough to collaborate with his siblings to have a family office that allowed family members have seats on boards of companies listed on the NGX and even chair of some of them as well as set up a Trust for the extended family.

I am getting a little confused. Is dilution the same thing as dumping? designking: I think it is best to sell off Japaul Gold and observe how things goes. The management just capitalized on the current share growth to dump over ₦20billion worth of shares. Japaul is diluted right now and I suspect massive selloff this week. |

Still in my early days in chart reading, however if you look at the chart, you will notice that sellers and buyers have been slugging it out at around that 2.5naira since late August. And the last time it got to that price was around February of this year. Some of those guys may just be trying to recover their cash which may explain why the sellers are holding the price down. If it does manage to get past that junction, there will be another struggle at around 3.2 naira. From my rudimentary knowledge of charts, if it does break that one, that forms a new upward swing with no market structure to hinder it. From a layman's point of view, assuming someone put 1 million in Oando when it was selling for 10 naira and the price now gets to 100 naira, he would now have 10 million.
If he put 10 million at the reference time, he would have 100 million. All within a calendar year.

Take them out for activities, involve them in small tasks around the house, and play board games (like chess or Whot, etc..). While you're together, start small discussions—ask them questions, seek their suggestions on how to handle simple situations. During these conversations, you can gently introduce concepts about life and how things work for adults. Just my two cents. |

How many of them ready to learn anything serious? Let us face it, many kids from average to affluence homes feel a large level of entitlement particularly when you thought you were doing the right thing allowing them enjoy the money you worked hard for and give them a life you did not have. Some even take it a step further and start turning gay because in your benevolence, you send them go abroad. emmanuelewumi: Teach them the right values of hardwork, diligence, honesty, delayed gratification, humility, money management, frugality etc.

Infrared does not have a motor so I haven't noticed any surge. It just does its work quietly. I then to use 600W though. Yes, all pots. An induction cooker will not even start to heat if it does not find a magnetic pot on top of it, an infrared cooker heats up as soon as you put it on, so even if you put plastic e go melt am for you. Talking about surge sef, it was even my induction cooker that was tripping off my inverter the small time it agreed to work. Not sure why this is so though. dollarnaira: Wow! Glad to make this public. How is the surge like? This means infrared cooker works for all pots, right? |

Yes I do. I had an induction cooker that I never really used and went bad when I was now ready to use it. The few times I wanted to use it, it had plenty drama. Sometimes it will accept the magnetic pot sometimes it would not, on the verge of paying for a replacement, I got an inclination to even research on infrared cooker instead. It fitted my needs and so I got it instead. I am glad I did. dollarnaira: Cool but pls do you use it personally? |

That is the spirit of touching money talking there. There is a certain invincibility people get when they start making more money than they ever dreamed of and more than everyone around them. They begin to feel very powerful and start wanting to acquire even things they do not need for themselves. Some people literally run man because of new levels of money they start receiving. So they see a beautiful woman and say to themselves, "I must have her no matter the cost", whether she is single or married, taken or not, they no longer care. Money good o, but you can easily use it to ruin the lives of people around you if you allow it to intoxicate you. This is particularly true of Africans since we seem to always be in one form of competition or pepper dem attitude. emmanuelewumi: I think you are taking this joke too far. If you are serious I will advise you to sent a private message.
Thank you |
