You can get at around 25k on Jiji. Yes, the 2200W is okay because it is adjustable.

I also believe the technology behind it is better than induction cooking because the heat is more evenly distributed.

dollarnaira:
Saw it but I don't want to test run with 35k.
It was max of 2200w with 11 different wattage. But na fear dey fear me. Money hard ooo.

Buy infrared instead... At the very least you will not have to be changing pots and cooking intensis.
You can also adjust the power to what you want including this your 400W you indicated
dollarnaira:
Am in need of induction cooker of 300 to 400w. How do I get this please?

Okay let me share with you a secret. The best way to use this platform is to realize that people view the stock market from different perspectives. Some are value investors that wait for yearly dividends, some do growth stocks that sell stocks where the prices happen to go high, some do trading by buying a stock that they believe will increase and sell once they hit their target. Some are a mix of 2 or the 3. I will not also forget those or the guy who does data analysis with advanced Python.

Then there are some that don't do any indept analysis but they sort of have intuition for what they do, so they may tell A or B may happen but they cannot fully explain why they say so, yet sometimes events will prove them right. That is where you start hearing things like street, spiritual, common sense and sentimental analysis.

Most value investors will not touch Oando by a long pole based on their fundamental details at this time, but growth and traders who are more susceptible to risk will be more disposed to stocks like that.

If you stay here long enough, you will be able to guess with higher probability the different investing philosophies of the different people who make comments. So, if a value investor talks down on Oando, rather than folks taking it to heart, just switch to growth or trader perspective and see if it aligns with what you want.

That is how I look at it. To put it in perspective, there are various car mechanics but if you have a Benz, you are likely to get the best advice from a mechanic experienced in Mecedes benz, if you have a Ford, same thing, even you have a japs, then more general purpose mechanic may be of help.

One way to be in the middle is to divide your portfolio into the 3 major investment types, that way, when you are taking a risk, you know you are doing it with funds that is risk friendly.

I hope this helps.
Payunsin:
Honestly as good as this platform is, it can also make you not to follow once instinct. I wanted to load Oando as much as I can but some analysis here made me stop. I also almost dumped the once I had at 29 because of some statements here, Na God save me.
All in all, it's been a wonderful platform and I have gained allot/ made money from advise on this platform.
E.g never heard of Tip nor knew it exists which I bought n gained from if not from this platform

This is pure TA when looking out for a breakout from a resistance level.

@Osi, I think you will do very well with day trading on US stock market.

ositadima1:
Here is a passage from Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, by Edwin Lefèvre. This book recounts the trials and tribulations of the greatest speculator who ever lived: Jesse Livermore:

Not so long ago I was with a party of friends. They got to talking wheat. Some of them were bullish and others bearish. Finally, they asked me what I thought. Well, I had been studying the market for some time. So, I said: "If you want to make some money out of wheat I can tell you how to do it."

They all said they did and I told them, "If you are sure you wish to make money in wheat just you watch it. Wait. The moment it crosses $1.20 buy it and you will get a nice quick play in it!"

"Why not buy it now, at $1.14?" one of the party asked.

"Because I don't know yet that it is going up at all."

"Then why buy it at $1.20? It seems a mighty high price."

"Do you wish to gamble blindly in the hope of getting a great big profit or do you wish to speculate intelligently and get a smaller but much more probable profit?"

They all said they wanted the smaller but surer profit, so I said, "Then do as I tell you. If it crosses $1.20 buy."

As I told you, I had watched it a long time. For months it sold between $1.10 and $1.20, getting nowhere in particular. Well, sir, one day it closed at above $1.19. I got ready for it. Sure enough the next day it opened at $1.20–1/2, and I bought. It went to $1.21, to $1.22, to $1.23, to $1.25, and I went with it.

I couldn't tell whether the breaking through the limit would be up through $1.20 or down through $1.10, though I suspected it would be up because there was not enough wheat in the world for a big break in prices.

The price went beyond the $1.20 mark. That was all the point I had and it was all I needed. I knew that when it crossed $1.20 it would be because the upward movement at last had gathered force to push it over the limit and something had to happen. In other words, by crossing $1.20 the line of least resistance of wheat prices was established.

I think the guy is trying to be clever by one quarter. What he accused Dangote Refinery was that it was more or less not in existence and that Dangote was rather importing diesel and attempting to sell as being products from his refinery.

I believe he is trying to play both sides to create an impression of being objective in thinking. I still appreciate his release on an attempt to pay him to release a negative report on Dangote, at least we now have an idea that there is a bigger conspiracy than NUPRC to stifle Dangote refinery it does not mean that this guy is not playing a game.

Most of the things you are saying here also applies to Wema Bank that is if they are not better with the digital banking component of their banking.
Heishere:
Providus is a growth stock. One of the innovative bank that transformed from a mortgage bank in 2016 with a regional license. They are listed on NASD and I have been trying to buy their shares a while back cos I see them going far because of their innovation and strategy. They can be said to be digital bank in Nigeria. They were the pioneers of fintech integration to banks in Nigeria. While many people were opening fintech accounts, they were actually banking with Providus because their funds were digitally housed and settled in the bank. Great number of fintech partners including major ones like Monnify, Jumia, Fairmoney, Bet9ja (CFO is related to Bet9ja owner) etc were integrated to the bank. The integration boosted them with good liquidity at clearing house and they broke even in 2019. Since then they have been in profit unlike some of their mates. They made around N8Billion in 2022. But their cost to income ratio is high due to expansion drive. Going by their books they couldn't have been able to purchase Unity.

I guess the merger was strategic for them because instead of paying to upgrade their license to national they killed two birds with one stone with the help of CBN.CBN also pumped in bailout funds of over N600Billion to clear Unity bank obligations. If owning a share of Unity bank means automatically becoming a shareholder of Providus, I will grab it immediately. Imagine a bank that broke even just 3 years after they started and by 2022 was making profit that is about 42% of what Sterlingbank that have been in the business for long made in the same year. That is aggressive growth and I want to be part of it. Their niche used be the affluent and HNIs while they serve retail through fintech. I guess they have changes now since they are going national.

God bless you sir.

aj8:
1. Do you think this system works on other stock markets like say the US? …I have only tried it on the Nigerian Stock Market. Has worked for me for over 20 years. DO NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER MARKET OTHER THAN THE NGX. I do trade on NASDAQ but limited to Biotechnology where I can apply my medical knowledge. For this, I simply put up notifications on Yahoo Finance to jump in at support for selected companies with huge prospects and FDA catalysts like PDUFA news, etc. The chances of being profitable increase by buying at the right price. And again, no profit is profit until taken and banked.

2. Do you use it to buy to hold or to buy and sell when the time is right.?…..Can work with either. It’s all about buying at the right price. See it more like buying a shirt at a supermarket. Of course, you would like to buy it when the shirt is on sale. Stocks likewise are sometimes on “sales” e.g. when bad news strikes, or simply when the price dips. Look for support and police that point for buy market reactions. Volume most times ticks up if it hits a point that the market perceives as a good entry point. Also when the eps suggests that the stock is grossly undervalued like what I term Common Sense Strategy…buy! I sincerely hope my response helps. Be profitable.

Hello sir,
I remembered your post after seeing a few of your comments and had to go search for it again. In the mean time, while trying to digest it, I have a few questions,

Do you think this system works on other stock markets like say the US?
Do you use it to buy to hold or to buy and sell when the time is right.

Thanks

aj8:
My Common Sense entry point :
Buy if price of stock is well below 80% of 4xEPS FY estimates to guarantee at least above 20% gain in the investment . The 4x EPS FY will become your target price and the range if still strong could be 4xEPS-5x EPS. provided the company has good Dividend payment history within the sector. If the Dividend payment is very poor, aim at 75% 0f 4xEPS as target price meaning you would have to enter even lower ( that’s at least below 80% of this target). Review targets as new EPS come in. Use only EPS that’s organic ( I.e based on pure corporate sweat).

REMEMBER TO INJECT DUE DILIGENCE IN EVERY PICK ESPECIALLY WHEN CURRENT PRICE IS ABOVE 4 X EPS.

Consider these hypothetical examples below:

1. A company released Q2 half year results at say N5.5 but is currently sell at N18.00 . Dividend payment is adjudged good. My target would be N44 and range N44-N55. I would buy.
2. A company with a full year results EPS of N1.05 currently selling at N1.00 should rally quickly to N4.00 if with good or improving fundamentals . I would buy and target exit at N4.00 except new EPS suggest otherwise.

3. A company with current price at N60.00 but EPS of N2.00 is not a buy for me as 4x EPS is only N8.00 . It remained however good for those who bought it earlier at less than N8.00 .

REMEMBER all strategies were derived at a point in time. This works for me and keeps my losses to a minimum.

Yes I am presently using it. How long? I bought it or imported it from China sometime last year and installed it much later.
I am not sure of a service centre in Nigeria.
Yes, some models have the optional Wifi dongle. I think Bluetooth is pretty constant because I also have their PWM and even that has bluetooth and app configuration.
Personally I haven't yet optimized mine but those were the things I looked out for because I intend to also build a dashboard to track my production so those features were important to me but I did not want to break the bank to achieve them.
If you want you can leave your number so i ask the rep to speak with you, better still search for them on Alibaba and you can talk direct to them.

If you prefer the Jumia option since the wait time is short you can explore that.

I just checked it out. Saw it on Jumia and it is quite affordable. I have three questions and would appreciate if I get an answer to all of them. 1. Are you currently using it and for how long have you been using it? 2. Do they have a service center in Nigeria incase there is an issue with it. 3. Does it actually have wifi/bluetooth function?

Okay thanks, so the price did not really change, it is the quantity that increased. So the correct price is still the 10.05x3 if we were to use the previous quantity. Why this is important is that people do not start salivating or panicking thinking that there has been a drop in price rather than a change in quantity.
If you had 100 quantity at 30 naira each, that is a value of 3000, that person will now have a quantity of 300 at 10 naira each with same value of 3000 naira.

This is correct right?
