Since you may have load concurrently and it's very likely that you won't get the 10kwp instantaneous through the 4 sun hours daily maybe average of 7kw I will say you should push to between 13 to 15kw and this assumes that you have minimal load feeding from the sunlight during the day

It's not a must to be double but it's always better to not max out the inverter capacity on concurrent load so with 4kw load you can do 6kw inverter but 8kw as already mentioned by @Dam5reey will give you enough bandwidth and keep the inverter cool

I still have a few left for sale at 6.5k each and can flash tasmota for you if you want.

Will you be able to control your device from anywhere without cloud syncing?
I think that may not be possible if you are not connected to a cloud hub.

I connect to my pi remotely and can control my switches manually via node-red

Not quite sure if it does. From the little checks I did, I found out sonoff switches works with Tasmota.

I use tasmota on sonoff it works flawlessly, it's useful if you want to automate without internet connection

It's actually getting the job done nicely with no issues. All I need it to do is switch ON/OFF anywhere I am.
However, I may still consider flashing Tastoma firmware just to get other functionalities.

Okay it does accept tasmota? That's cool. I only use tasmota on my sonoff switches

The problem with the second option is that you waste productive time monitoring your system like a hawk instead of drinking beer.

That same switch/plug if flashed with Tasmota firmware will open up a lot more possibilities. If you don't believe me, ask Ojeysky.

You may not even need to flash tasmota, the stock sonoff firmware already has enough features and can be integrated with node-red as well for full automation. The smartplug to may have integration options with node-red

That your definition of deep in the hole is strange o... Just -10%? If you are for long term then hold and don't average down yet till it bottoms out. I have learnt that after averaging down to early for ftncocoa...... Am at -25% on it at the moment. So be thankful when you hear someone else experience.
Consolation is that it's not a loss until I sell so it's probably going to become a long long term investment for me.

So blower confirmed to be working fine when I bypassed it by connecting directly to a 12v battery. Any pointer on what the resistor looks like? as the ones I have seen online have heat sinks and not seen anything like that on mine.

Then try this; disable AC charging on inverter, run the gen through the inverter and then power the freezer from the inverter. Let's see if that works out fine

is a pv inverter different from a hybrid inverter?

why did you connect the output of 1 inverter to the gen input of another inverter?

It's different from an hybrid inverter, see it as an external CC but one that syncs 100% with the inverter it's connected to. So instead of connecting an external CC directly to the battery, you connect the PV inverter to an actual inverter which in turn takes both power from the PV inverter and it's own to charge/power the household
