It has gotten out of hand already, me I'll file a complain against Nigerian Custom Service cos there is somewhere I observed they are ripping us off with VAT. The VAT people are paying on custom duty is actually not what they should pay. The actual VAT is supposed to be about 30% of what is currently being paid.

I really have no idea why the multiple taxation, they charge duty yet there is another line for Vat for the same item

Reason why it advisable to have more than one Stockbroking accounts.

I have been a client of Investment One for more than 10 years.


A typical client who has a business won't mind the commission because he knows he can assess credit facilities up to a maximum of N20 million per account to finance other money making opportunities the 0.85% difference in commission won't matter to that type of client.


Although I also have a stockbroking account with Stanbic IBTC Stockbroker, unfortunately my bank Stanbic IBTC Bank only accept FGN bonds and their Mutual Funds as collateral

Please what's the interest rate percentage that investment one give? Meristem provides this service as well @between 22 to 25%

Loco, mercy Agba, BBM abeg oo what is your thoughts on FTN I just remembered that I have some FTN with my analog broker and I was thinking is just 20k units which I bought at N2 then so I called a staff this afternoon and she told me I have over 100k units pls make I sell or I should still leave it. I bought chams too at N2 but Don't know the unit now I fit think say na 10k units make it turn to 50k. I will confirm the chams later.your thought on FTN oo
