He couldn't have done a 40+km road as a senator,he usually attract 1,2,3,4,5,km road projects to his constituency he could have done it as governor as Otii is about doing it now.Maybe he have used the road in collaboration with some contractors to obtain money from FG which have not been paid yet.

There has been a massive and total demolition of artisan market in Enugu with no plan to resettle the northerners doing their businesses there. If this was done to Igbos in the north, Ohaneze Ndigbo would have been crying discrmination and petitioned the United Nations and other world bodies.

Governor Mbah should provide water to Enugu township. It is a shame that Enugu lacks water and he is more interested in the destruction of other people's livelihood.

In my humble opinion, this is a wrong move by the FG to call for the repatriation of Simon Ekpa.

When MNK was agitating, he was doing so peacefully.
What did the FG under Buhari do?
They unleashed the military on them and humiliated them through the python dance operation.
Bitterness and anger were raised in the minds of these people.
Those who witness the processions of MNK would tell you that the guy commanded a multitude for real.
To cap it all, they arrested Kanu.

Consequent to his arrest and incarceration, Simon Ekpa emerged and vowed that they wouldn't suffer the kind of humiliation they suffered under MNK, so he took up arms against the military.

Simon Ekpa is a central authority through whom all the different militia groups can be controlled.

If Ekpa is arrested several groups without control will emerge.
Many of the groups will lose focus on why they were formed and start causing unprecedented chaos in the country not only in the east.

Remember, giving a monkey water with a cup is not the problem but retrieving your cup afterwards.... So who will these multitude of groups take orders from?

It is easy for someone to reason that without Ekpa, the military can easily neutralize the various groups...but I don't think so.
If the military had fully understood the modus operandus of these people, they would have crushed them.
In the absence of a supreme leader, it will be more difficult.

In my opinion, the FG should use various means to bring Ekpa to the negotiating table to drop his radical stance.
