In a state where there is no law,there is no sin.

Islam is the only well structured religion in the world,it invoke disciplines in its followers,it is guided by rules and regulations. When Christ came, the law of Moses was substituted with the grace of God. This means that our salvation in Jesus Christ is by the grace of God, unlike during the time of Moses when people have to "Work" for their own salvation.
The only blasphemy grievous enough to warrant death in Christianity is "Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit." But even that death warrant is not carried out by man. It is handled by God himself. No man killed Annanias and Saphira when they lied againts the Holy Spirit in Acts 5:1-11. They just fell down and died.
Christianity does not permit any Christian to kill a person for Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not bound by the law of Moses but by love and grace of God through Christ. To that effect, Blasphemy in Christianity can never be compared with that of Islam.
