Education › Re: Post Study Visa: Us V Uk by OjoOmoyen(op): 5:12pm On Jun 24, 2011
Not entirely, the new rules take effect from April 2012, students can still apply for PSW visa, but u must have an offer for a job by a UK company before you can apply for the visa, which makes it very difficult, almost impossible in my opinion.

Education › Re: Very Important Changes To Uk Tier 4 Student Visa Effective From April 21 /2011. by OjoOmoyen: 4:26pm On Apr 28, 2011
The information you posted is correct, but it doesnt apply to all sets of people, the right to work for 20 hours for some schools is still preserved, and the right to get a PSW (Post Study Work visa) is also preserved, admittedly, it's much more difficult. It however does not take effetc until APRIL 2012.

You can read this for an analysis going forward.

Politics › Re: Bon Presidential Debate:was It Ok by OjoOmoyen: 11:41am On Mar 31, 2011
There was no BON Presidential Debate, at least not when GEJ was present,a debate cannot occur unless there is more than one person, unless GEJ was debating against himself and presenting different arguments.

What happened yesterday was a 'Panel', akin to what you do when you are in University defending a research project, or when you are at an interview,

the other contestants humiliated Mr.President, but in the process, also showed us how petty they can be.

Hey, i was thinking of studying in Malaysia or New zealand too, somewhere different from the regular US/UK/Canada, anyways i decided to go to the UK eventually, but while i was doing my research on schools in malaysia and new Zealand, came across this site: http://www.hotcourses-nigeria.com/ . It gives info for people who wanna study in the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, malaysia, and New Zealand. It also has some nice reviews on some schools there done by students whi went to those schools, so i guess it makes it more balanced as per the opinions you will get. (i think they even have links for scholarship information), anyways, all the best in your search.

Education › Re: Helppppppppppppppppppp by OjoOmoyen: 1:59pm On Mar 01, 2011
That;s no so bad, i know people who had a couple of Fails and still got through, only issue is that if you want to study in the Uk and u had a Pass in English, u might have to do an English Language Test, think its called IELTS, can't remember, and if its the US u will have to do well in ur SATs and TOEFL. , but you should be fine. Check this site and try to get information about posible courses and schools you can go to,

Education › Re: Helppppppppppppppppppp by OjoOmoyen: 12:57pm On Mar 01, 2011
There are loads of schools that you can get into with just a Pass result, Pass isnt the end of your academic life, although it limits your choices, doubt if you could ever get into Harvard or Cambridge with that.lol, it depends on what course u are interested in. So what courses are you looking at?
