ontarioissauga: Statement of result goes to WES. ICES asks for certificates mostly. Ask for a refund if it is possible. This still buttresses reading the thread thingy. ICES doesn't accept SOR? This is a strong something o. |

hernyhorla: Good afternoon, I did my Masters @ Lautech and it took about 2months before the Transcript was sent to WES with phone call monitoring. You need to get your notification first and submit the hard copy through someone to exams and record or so . Someone actually assisted me there but it was not a pleasant experience . If u don't mind, I can give you his contact please check pm. Thanks |

jhoci: It's quite unfortunate. My cousin is also in the same situation. He applied for his MBA transcript first week of August and has spent 80k so far trying to facilitate it, yet no transcript. Chai, this sounds quite discouraging for someone like me who's just starting this process of transcript request (MBA). Heard there has been epileptic operations due to students' protest since the announcement of school fees hike. A friend that has been successful in this regard got it in not less than 3months with mad pressure and follow up by a top academic staff of the school. Lautech Naija we hail thee. Las las, it'll end in praise. Eyes on the ball! |

Thanks. |

LAUTECH delayed my Canny dream for 8 solid months.
But delay they say, is not denial. We shall overcome. Hi. Please which transcript did you request, Btech, MSc or MBA? And have you eventually sailed through? |

Hi everyone, good to be here. Been following this thread for quite a while now and at the verge of deciding whether to go the Oz or Canny way.
I studied Agricultural Economics and Extension Services in the University (BTech, 5 years) and have 5 years work experience as an Agribusiness Desk Officer in a Commercial Bank.
Do I stand a chance of getting a positive skill assessment from VETASSESS as an Agricultural Consultant without a reduction in years of work experience so as to earn 10 points?
I'd also appreciate if anybody, with experience or who has gotten a positive skill assessment with VETASSESS as Agricultural Consultant, can assist in reviewing my JDs or give some heads up in this regard.
Many thanks. |

Sharing my story cuz of how I've learnt from others in this thread. Mine will take a peculiar route and I'll update the house. However, for now I'll share how I studied for IELTS with the hope that it might help someone too.
Listening: Practice a lot. Get a hold of the Cambridge Books 1-12 and even 13 and do many practice tests. Practice concentrating cause my mind wandered sometimes, usually in between sections or at the beginning.
After a lot of practice, find out which of the listening question formats gives you a hard time then focus on that one to get better. Mine was the section with a question and multiple choice long answers. I jonsed a lot answering these type of questions during practice. I pmed you bro. Kindly oblige. Many thanks. |

ojsamuel: Hi Famz.
DD is a twin girl. She hasn't been meeting her developmental milestone. She throws up and shows little or no interest in eating(likes to take a lot of water) asides breastmilk. She turns 1 this month. Her twin brother weighs about 4kg more than her. Last weight check was around 5.8kg, her twin brother almost 6.3kg. She's yet to start crawling while her twin brother, though not yet standing alone or walking, started crawling and standing with support over 2 months ago. She is not as energetic as his twin brother, all she could do is make a 360 degrees turn while sitting with little or no effort to reach for objects beyond her circumference. She always wants to stand when being held but hardly makes attempt of it unaided. Sometimes I feel scared as to whether everything is alright with her cos she looks little in size(weight). The Pediatric says she's Ok and recommended motor skills exercise for her but I'm still kinda worried as this has not seemed to have helped. Any advice pls? dunasy: Babies grow at their own speed and I agree with the paediatrician... she just might be very reserved
Just engage her more..

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my concerns, you were all amazingly on point. DD started walking without any attempt to crawl, she was always wanting to stand on her feet and shortly after that took her first step. Like dunasy said, she’s very reserved. She surprisingly started walking without support before my chairman (the twin brother) despite all his initial gra gra (lol) . They are 15 months old and can both walk unassisted now. |
