To me manual is faster to wash for lazy people like me and if your supply is much you won't need to be pressing too much if not you will grow muscle o.
Electric has plenty parts, if you have a pumping bra and a power bank you can do a lot while pumping.If you don't have pumping bra you'll just be looking like zombie while pumping cos you'll have to put the bottles to your breast with your hands.

How many weeks postpartum are you? If less than 6 weeks, it might be lochia which is normal. Are you still wearing pad cos I noticed the same thing anytime I didn't wear pad till it stopped finally.

I also stopped bleeding five days after birth but have been having brown watery thing on my pad I stopped using pad yesterday and it stopped gradually.Maybe u should give it time till tomorrow maybe it will stop of not u can check back at the hospital

I don't knw abt water, but during my first my bleeding stop 3-4 days after..though I don't have much tears...

Hi mamas how long is bleeding after child birth?. I noticed water coming out of my vag this evening I thought I was bleeding at first is this normal?

I need serious help o. I can't drink water, I can drink tea and malt, but I need water in my life. Even the ice isn't helping matters, once it gets to the stomach as liquid, the nausea begins.

What kind of thing is this? It didn't happen in my first pregnancy. I am tired of ginger too. I am 9 weeks gone, 12 weeks looks like next year. I can't wait for this phase to pass.

God I am not complaining o, I am grateful for this gift but It is just somehow.

I will register in my appropriate month as soon as I get my groove back.

Birth Story

Pregnancy was a smooth ride. I had plenty cold water and sweet junks and food unlike my first boy's pregnancy. I also learnt its normal for some babies not be naturally very active (Jackie chan kind of active) in the womb. Naturally. The very gentle ones. Few kicks here and there but no dramatic turnings.

March 16th (EDD) Night
I told hubby to come and suck bobby as it is the only trigger for baby movement, Braxton Hicks\false contractions. He sucked for a little over an hour. Like that like that lower abdominal pain started that night. Throughout the next day, the 17th the same thing. I went to the hospital on 18th morning, they checked me and brought out one orisirisi ( I think an accumulation of whitish stuff, I used to have on and off infection. Yes, the infection was a new one for me. I didn't have it in my first). The nurse reported that "it has not established".

At that point I could not understand the simple English she was speaking . Pains! Little did I know abi much had i forgotten how it starts from blues to raggae . I was like "madam, explain this ' it has not established' something very well, cos my body has established and is experiencing labour . They said I should walk around a lot and come back if any change(s).

I went home and prepped for long distance trekking. I achieved a reasonable distance came home and rested. The abdominal pains were coming in stronger. By 5pm, off we went to the hospital. They checked, 2cm. Oboooi! Is this how I so much hyped myself to endure till when I will land in the hospital and put to birth in under 10 minutes of arrival will end? omo x 1 billion!

They advised I stay back maka na abani eteka... because the night is too far. Me, still wanting to achieve my wishful thinking (in my first, the hospital didn't allow my husband stay with me. A different hospital from the present. I just truly and really didn't want to experience labour alone for another long hours) said I will go and come back. Around past 9pm I started seeing stars. The pains were coming strong on my waist, not just abdominal and kind of regular.

Hubby quickly brought our stuff out, in the process my flask broke. The plastic part was just breaking at each touch (expired plastic I later suspected it to be), he managed to save the vacuum though. I am mentioning this because at that moment if I was sane, I knew how I would have reacted I bought the flask with my money with so much assurance. But then, it was like I should even break the vacuum on top for trying to delay our movement to the hospital .

We left for the hospital and every time the contraction hits, hubby will stop driving and park. Kai! We got to the hospital at a little past 10pm. Climbing the stairs was a task. I was checked and told 3cm. 3 qwharrt!!!! . I told hubby and he said "remember the last time you were 3cm and it didn't take long you jumped to 10cm and delivered immediately. " That calmed me down a bit. The boost and support I needed not like it works exactly that way always. But at least, at all at all na winch .

Hubby was with me throughout, praying, massaging my waist, encouraging me. When I started feeling the urge to push, I tried to hold it for 3 contractions and then started screaming mostly in my dialect "I can't hold it oooo" "they won't listen to me ooo... I can't hold it any longer". The nurses ran out and were telling me not to push, they were ready to check again to see how far I had gone. As they were still talking, my water bursted forcefully and I shouted " oputala oputala oputala!" . They came and looked closer to confirm (I went to lie on one of the benches in the antenatal room, it was dark there but very airy). I had already change to wrapper when I was checked at 3cm. When they confirmed it was amniotic fluid, I was immediately transported to the delivery room.

Two pushes and my baby boy came out at 1: 05am 19th March weighing 3.3kg. He was given to me while the placenta was delivered. My hubby was invited into the labour room. He witnessed it all. I had tears which was sown. The sewing up felt like it will never end, I was feeling every prick despite the injections. But it ended and was cleaned up thoroughly.

When that mama said labour isn't painful, did you see any mama arguing with Her? Most of us that have gone through labour before know how it is we just kept quiet. Labour is never easy but it's bearable, though its unbearable to some. Only God fit help us

: Congrats once again cappo, delivery is actually not easy based on my experience with my son in 2017,It's affected hubby and I had to beg before we embark on this 2nd missionary journey.The joy of seeing your LO takes away the pains and before you know it you start planning for another one.

Last week, my hubby reported me to my parents that I love taking cold drinks and they were very warned me to desist from it. As it is now, I don't have access to the freezer. During this MS stage, cold drinks have been my saving grace. I don't know how I will survive without cold water. I also noticed that too much fruits and vegetables purge me. The way I purged throughout the week was scary, i had to go for scan to be sure my baby is okay. Thank God, everything is fine.

Affliction shall not rise a second time, Amen.

My birth story
My husband and I had been dating for 6 years but we broke up ate 2019 cos I felt he wasn’t been serious with his life and our relationship, so I moved on a month after to a worse fellow luckily my husband never gave up he was adamant about leaving me. Thank God for corona , early March he called it quits that he was done. I even deleted all his pictures and ours the start of lockdown he called me to spend the lockdown with him and I felt it was two weeks , so I went that’s how we rekindled our love again, lockdown ended I came out pregnant I wasn’t even aware till July. He said I planned it, I didn’t I guess it was Gods plan. He came to see my parents few months after and we set a date for our wedding.
My pregnancy journey was very eventful I always had a large appetite immediately after I eat it I vomit infact every morning MS was the order of the day up till week 26 I was vomiting but it stopped being frequent as such. I lost my libido in first trimester but it came back at week 14, I confirmed baby’s gender at week 17 cos my body Dey always shake. Last minute I decided to change my hospital cos I had so much fears and I felt safer in the hands of professionals so I switched to health center and I’m so glad I did
My labor room story , I know people here can remember me complaining about baby not coming forth I was excessively tired and just anxious to see my baby , so I booked an induction for the 15th which was a week after my first due date, I went for check up on Friday the 12th I was checked and the consultant said I’m 2.5cm dilated he will admit me and commence the induction at night . Please Mamas, what can I do o... yesterday I was having the urge to poo but nothing came out. Today I have purged like four times and it happens when I eat and drink water. The Purge is accompanied with stomach upset.
Please, who has experienced this before o or what can I use to stop it. The fact that I am not even eating well is making me weak by the day, now purging
