Vice President Daughter Kiki Osinbajo Fires A Man Who Accused Her Of Using Nigeria’s Money For Business The man commenting on a post accused Kiki Osinbajo of using Nigeria’s money to start her skincare business saying God dey and is watching them all. Kiki Osinbajo in reacting to that fired him asking him to get off her page as those whose parents aren’t in government can’t start a skincare business that she has to use the country’s money as claimed. This is to expected as most politicians are only worried about their families and does everything possible to see them comfortable and her father being a vice president makes it even worse.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo will register as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State. The APC Registration and Revalidation Exercise kicks off on Tuesday, February 9. DAILY POST reports that Osinbajo is expected to participate in the exercise at his ward in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun. The Chairman of the APC Registration and Revalidation exercise in the State, Ademorin Kuye disclosed that the committee would be fair to all parties during the period of the exercise. During a visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun in his office in Abeokuta on Monday, Kuye commended him for making their job easier with the provision of an enabling environment. By Clever Advertising “The registration exercise will commence on Tuesday, 9th of February when the Zonal Committee will be visiting to register the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and then we, the State registration committee will be visiting the polling unit of the Governor to register him and then register the Deputy Governor too,” he said. Kuye also disclosed that after the completion of the exercise on February 3, the committee would commence the sorting of registration details on February 24; adding that it would give room for appeals and complaints from any quarter before submitting its report to the National Registration and Revalidation committee. Ademorin, while noting that the committee has completed the training of its supervisors in the 236 wards of Ogun, added that the committee has received 3, 213 registers and 321,300 forms for the exercise. In his remarks, Gov Abiodun, while noting that no one would be discriminated against during the exercise, said that the purpose of the exercise, which is to make the party bigger, would be defeated if members are discriminated against. “I will continue to ensure that we do not discriminate, as a matter of fact, it will not make sense for us to discriminate against anyone, winning an election is only by way of numbers, the more, like they say, the merrier, the more we are the greater the chances of us winning in elections, we can not be saying we are inclusive on one hand and then on the other hand, we are not allowing people to join us,” he said. Abiodun, who also noted that the registration exercise would be done in the wards and polling units as prescribed by the party, added that the registration of the Vice President and himself at their wards and polling units are symbolic and defining steps that would show that registration is not to be done at the corner of anybody’s home.

The underlining reason behind this ban is to check the flow of illicit financial transaction and government therefore can not stop blockchain but they can stop THEIR BANKS from engaging in crypto. Well this certainly was expected all along. |

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (right); Minister of State for Health, Dr. Adeleke Mamora (middle); and Director General, NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, during a visit by Osinbajo to NCDC’s National Reference Laboratory in Abuja. Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has commended efforts by public health workers and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) towards the containment of COVID-19 in the country. The Minister of Health, Dr. Emmanuel Ehanire, Minister of State for Health, Dr. Adeleke Mamora, and the Director General of NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, received Osinbajo during a visit to NCDC’s National Reference Laboratory, the apex laboratory, in Abuja. Directors as well as other members of NCDC staff and partners were also present at the visit. The visit of the Vice President was an opportunity for him to appreciate the efforts of NCDC staff, State Public Health Teams and other public health workers who have been working tirelessly in response to the pandemic for about a year During his visit, Osinbajo recognised and praised the efforts of NCDC staff and other public health workers, which he described as “heroic”. The Vice President interacted with the laboratory staff while on tour of the facility and observed operations at the molecular laboratory, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) mega-laboratory, its biorepository for the storage of samples and other areas of the facility. He reiterated the commitment of the President Muhammed Buhari administration to prioritise and strengthen health security. Ehanire, while welcoming the Vice President, also commended NCDC’s critical role in the prevention, detection and response to disease outbreaks. “We are very proud of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, which is our youngest agency at the Federal Ministry of Health. In the last four years, the agency has grown significantly in its mandate and delivery. The achievements of NCDC in Nigeria’s public health response have been as a result of the resilience, dedication and commitment of its leadership and staff. Thank you, Your Excellency, for honouring their hardwork with your visit today.” Ihekweazu expressed his gratitude to the Vice President for his visit. He shared the agency’s journey with establishing the NRL, including the COVID-19 response and challenges. “We remain grateful to the executive arm of the government for the strong political commitment to strengthen health security in the country.” The COVID-19 pandemic has further highlighted the need for stable, substantial and sustainable funding for health security. We were able to activate the NRL and three other laboratories for COVID-19 diagnosis in January 2020, because we had been preparing for the next pandemic for four years. Nigeria must invest in health security for us to be better prepared for the next pandemic.” Since the confirmation of Nigeria’s first COVID-19 case in February 2020, NCDC, supported by its partners, has been leading Nigeria’s committed public health response to the pandemic. This includes establishing and scaling up capacity for COVID-19 testing, surveillance activities, risk communications, as well as providing technical support to states and several other activities. https://guardian.ng/features/osinbajo-commends-health-workers-ncdc/
