Well it depends on your career and your goal in life.

An average IT support earns 150k - 250k per month here which practically finishes without savings at the end of the month BUT same IT support can earn as low as £3k - £4 k per month.

Let us assume 50% goes with all expenses including tax, £1,500 - £2,000 balance remaining will make you know this process is worth it when you convert it to Naira @ N780/£ and duly enjoy basic amenities you are been taxed for.

So I thought until i got here and most employers are requesting for covid-19 pass. Forget about what the site says, alot of business still sees covid-19 as a big deal. Some places like hospitals will ask u to put on your mask before they allow u in.

Besides, like i said.....qatar airline will ask for your vaccination card before allowing u check-in your flight and i am speaking from first hand experience. i don't know about other airlines

Tuition fee:- Assuming the tuition fee is £16,000

Admission Deposit Fee for CAS:- 2k

Tuition fee balance:- £14,000

Cost of Living (Per month outside London) :- £1,023 * 9 months = £9,127

Total Cost for Applicant = £14,000 + £9,127 = £23,127



For Dependants

Cost of Living (Per month outside London) :- £680 * 9 months = £6,120 * 4 dependants = £24,480

Total Cost for Applicant + Total Cost of Living for all Dependants

£23,127 + £24,480 = £47,607

Your assumptions could be incorrect because you did not factor in the population of the city. Lagos is a coastal city with a massive population that boost economic activities whereas places like Canterbury with a population of around 50,000 or so may not be better than Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester when it comes to employment and opportunities. Even though they are not coastal cities.

Talking of cities with job opportunities and low cost of living, the coastal cities with a lower population still has an edge. Especially if you are an IT professional that can work remotely.

If not for tuition high costs in some schools, cities like these (Brighton, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Southampton, Canterbury, Colchester) are the best places to school because of job availabilities in the location. If you are coming as a family, let your wife be the applicant, and target these areas as you that will be dependant will get jobs easily and make more cheese

Just like Lagos. Now imagine the opportunities Lagos economy is benefiting from having the major port entry to Nigeria.

I also got the same fee of 14,700 without discount and the offer letter comes with conditions requesting for my waec result which I have wrote to them and expressed to accept my offer.

In the offer letter, there is a part that says one can apply for a scholarship and discount which I have done, hopefully, I get favoured

I wish all UK schools can be straightforward and BOLD on International student fees like the University of Derby
