According to report by some of the residents of the Adamawa communities attacked by Fulani herdsmen, 66 of the corpses of the hired Fulani militias were found in a bush. They also said that Nigeria Air Force did not bomb the Fulani herdsmen but rather the villagers. They released evidences to backup their claim.Below is what one of them wrote...

'About 66 of the hired Fulani's body was found in the bush.no one tried a bachama man and goes free, this is just a test. We await the part two.we are the bwatiye tribe,we are the warriors, we are the hero's. And we are peace loving people. But,don't try us'.

What do you think?Nigerian military goofed
Politics / Exposed:Army Declared IPOB A Non Terror Group 24hrs Before Army's New Statement by okoro4: 10:03am On Sep 16, 2017
It’s now official — at least in military circles — the organisation led by Nnamdi Kanu is a terror group.

John Enenche, the director, defence information, said on Friday that the claim by Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) that it is non-violent is not true “after due professional analysis and recent developments”.

He listed what constitutes “terrorism” as the formation of a Biafra secret service, setting up of Biafra national guard, unauthorised blocking of public access roads and extortion of money from innocent civilians at illegal road blocks.

To support the military’s position, he said IPOB used weapons (stones, molotov cocktails, machetes and broken bottles, among others) on a patrol on September 10, 2017.

“From the foregoing, the Armed Forces of Nigeria wish to confirm to the general public that IPOB from all intent, plan and purpose as analysed, is a militant terrorist organisation,” he said.

BUT 24 HOURS AGO…

Enenche’s claims sharply contrasted with the press release issued by the army on Thursday — or 24 hours earlier — according to an analysis done by TheCable team.

In the statement, reproduced below, the army said: “While they are yet to carry arms openly in their activities, it is very likely that they would employ the use of arms in the days ahead.”

Did IPOB take delivery of arms between Thursday and Friday? Or were they declared terrorists because of what they may do?

It should be noted, though, that the army constantly used the word “insurgency” to describe IPOB’s activities in the press statement.

Below is the full text of the statement.

UPDATE ON IPOB ACTIVITIES IN 82 DIV AOR AS AT 121800A SEP 17.

Sequel to the pronouncement by the NA that Ex Egwu Eke would commence in the SE on 15 Sep 17 and the subsequent movement of military hardware including AFVs and troops to the SE, IPOB agitators became apprehensive. They interpreted the Exercise as a military invasion of the SE. Accordingly, they devised a strategy to frustrate the NA by attacking troops with stones, bottles, sticks and other dangerous missiles. The attack on troops on 11 Sep 17 leading to injuries on a soldier and a civilian at Umuahia is instructive. Consequently upon IPOB attacks on troops, IPOB propaganda Machinery using the media would distort actual occurrences and portray a negative image of the NA claiming that the NA have killed several IPOB members and injured several others.

The IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu based on the false propaganda that troops had killed some of their members instigated others to embark on widespread acts of insurgency and total breakdown of law and order. He urged his supporters who are mostly the downtrodden to burn down the country if he is arrested. He also demanded the immediate withdrawal of troops from the SE.

Accordingly, the activities of IPOB on 12 Sep 17 extended to ABA, a densely populated area. IPOB members acting on the instructions of Nnamdi Kanu embarked on widespread breakdown of law and order. They set tyres on fire, burnt some vehicles and reported killed some northerners (number yet to be ascertained). Northerners houses, shops and goods were also targeted. They also threw missiles like bottles and stones on troops. Their activities caused chaos and massive traffic jam in Aba. Northerners had to be evacuated to a safe place by troops to avoid being killed.

Own assessment of the situation suggest that IPOB intends to frustrate troops activities and trigger a confrontation which they will magnify as an army invasion especially through the social media. Their objective is to attract local and international sympathy with a view to intimidating the NA to cancel the forthcoming Ex Egwu Eke. This is to enable them consolidate on their insurgent activities, propagate hate speeches, have freedom of action, distribute subversive materials, have a stronghold, intensify their rallies and instigate locals to join their insurgency. They also appear resolute to implement their threat to disrupt the forthcoming Nov 18 Election in Anambra State. Ironically the state governors are playing politics with the situation and insisting that they can deal with the situation themselves. It is instructive however that the Governor of Abia state on 12 Sep 17 declared a curfew in Aba from 6pm to 6am.

Meanwhile, it is projected that IPOB activities especially riots, attacks on troops and false media propaganda would increase in the days ahead. While they are yet to carry arms openly in their activities, it is very likely that they would employ the use of arms in the days ahead.

In view of the foregoing, troops must remain resolute in neutralizing this emerging and dangerous threat. Troops must abide with the rules of engagement, adhere to established code of conduct, respect human rights laws and remain professional. Troops must not be intimidated but sustain the tempo in bringing an end to this menace. Ex Egwu Eke should continue as planned and efforts must be sustained in winning the media war.

It is imperative to highlight also that this threat has been brewing for a long time and is only manifesting. Therefore it is essential that the threat is neutralized now or we would only be postponing the evil day. It is bound to escalate at some point. Troops must at this point avoid skeletal deployments and should be in strength at all time. Targeting and arresting of key leaders of the insurgents in collaboration with other security agencies is essential. Protection of KPs and VPs is also imperative. Efforts must also be sustained to prevent reprisal attacks in other parts of the country. All formations would therefore need to be proactive and device measures in preventing reprisals attacks in their respective AOR. National Orientation Agency must also step up media campaign to enlighten the populace of the implications of allowing IPOB threat to escalate. Furthermore political imperatives especially Governors from the SE would need to show resolve and political will in tackling this growing insurgency.

Politics / Flash Back:Buhari Promotes Boko Haram,Faults Clampdown On Boko Haram by okoro4: 9:32am On Sep 16, 2017
Former Head of State and Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Major General Muhammadu Buhari has faulted the federal government’s clampdown on Boko Haram Islamic insurgents.
He accused the government of killing and destroying their houses while the Niger Delta militants were given special treatment by the government.
Buhari who spoke on Sunday on a Liberty Radio programme, Guest of the Week monitored in Kaduna also admitted that the road to the registration of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was rough, pointing out that the promoters of the party were well prepared for any hitch that may arise.
Buhari who first spoke in Hausa before the English version accused politicians from the Niger Delta region of starting the current in security in the country by recruiting and arming youths of the region in their desperate attempt to retain power as governors.
The former Nigerian leader said that unlike the special treatment given to the Niger Delta militants by the federal government, the Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished by government.
While accusing President Jonathan of failing from the beginning to address the security situation in the country, Buhari said he has never been in support of the state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa state.
According to Buhari “what is responsible for the security situation in the country is caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants. Every Nigerian that is familiar with what is happening knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all.
“What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta region at that time wanted to win their elections. So they recruited the youths and gave them guns and bullets and used them against their opponents to win elections by force.
“After the elections were over, they asked the boys to return the guns; the boys refused to return the guns. Because of that, the allowance that was being given to the youths by the governors during that time was stopped.
“The youths resorted to kidnapping oil workers and were collecting dollars as ransom. Now a boy of 18 to 20 years was getting about 500 dollars in a week, why will he go to school and spend 20 years to study and then come back and get employed by government to be paid N100,000 a month, that is if he is lucky to get employment.
“So kidnapping becomes very rampant in the South -South and the South -East. They kidnapped people and were collecting money.
“How did Boko Haram start? We know that their leader, Mohammed Yusuf started his militant and the police couldn’t control them and the army was invited. He was arrested by soldiers and handed over to the police.
“The appropriate thing to do, according to the law, was for the police to carry out investigations and charge him to court for prosecution, but they killed him, his in-law was killed, they went and demolished their houses.
“Because of that, his supporters resorted to what they are doing today. You see in the case of the Niger Delta militants, the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua sent an aeroplane to bring them, he sat down with them and discussed with them, they were cajoled, and they were given money and granted amnesty.
“They were trained in some skills and were given employment, but the ones in the north were being killed and their houses were being demolished. They are different issues, what brought this? It is injustice”.
While fielding questions in English in the same programme, Buhari said that the promoters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) were aware of the challenges ahead of them in an effort to get the party registered, saying “the road to merger is quite rough.
“The ruling party, with its enormous resources and its capacity for coercion has seen it as a threat and they have said it. Personally, I came to realise since 2007 that Nigerians believe that the only way to stabilise the system of multi-party democracy is for the opposition parties that have representatives right from Councillors to the National Assembly come together to deliver their constituencies democratically. This is the only way you can counter PDP’s enormous physical and material influence in the country”
He expressed optimism that the All Progressive Congress will be registered saying “by nature, I am an optimist. If I were not an optimist, I will not attempt to contest the presidency three times and end up in the Supreme Court three times. I believe we are going to be registered.
“There is a law guiding party registration which states that you must have your headquarters in the nation’s capital that can be identified by INEC and you must have a convention. All the three parties involved have held their conventions and have agreed to forsake our existing parties and go for APC.
“At the national level, we must have those who will run the party. As soon as we meet these criteria and INEC acknowledge that, 30 days after the acknowledgement, we are APC whether INEC write us and give us the registration or not”.
Speaking on the controversy surrounding the election of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Buhari said since the forum was not a legal body, he saw no reason for the controversy saying “the confusion is unfortunate.
“To me, the Governors forum is not constitutional and it is not a party affair because they are supposed to come from all the parties. There is no constitutional law as far as I can see. So, why all these row about it.
“I watched the clip of the election which seems to have been conducted in a free and fair way. But then, Jang came and said he won the election when we saw visibly on the screen how they conducted the election.
“The man who presided over the election declared the result there and then. I was surprised how Jang emerged and said he was the one that won the election and proceeded to open his own secretariat.
“So, if 36 of them can not conduct an election, Nigerians should begin to appreciate what we are in for when they are supposed to be conducting an election for over 140 million people by 2015”.
He however said that he was prepared to support anybody who emerge Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), saying “If APC fail to give me the ticket, I will remain in partisan politics and in the party. Anyone the party pick as its candidate, I will support him because I will remain in the APC”.
