Hallo guys. Please I need your candid opinion. I lost my NOKIA Lumia 530 few weeks ago and I want to buy another phone now, by the grace of God.

Which (touch-screen) smartphone should I buy that can browse well; has better battery life; supports Whatsapp; good camera to snap bold pix; bright screen; hotspur etc?

Hi pals. Please I need halp on this issue. I have a HP mini laptop with a battery that used to last for about seven (7) hours after being fully charged. but the battery is no longer ok. So, my question is: How can I get such a battery for replacement? I'm asking this because the places I've gone so far to buy spare battery only have those that can hardly last for 2 hours.

Sorry, I don't. I was asking to know how I can identify the battery of my HP mini laptop, so that I can confirm the price and order for it.

You just have to take the bad battery to the shop where you intend to buy the replacement.
Thank you for your prompt response. I actually wanted to order a new one from Lagos. Someone told me there's a way one can identify the type of battery in his laptop without necessarily carrying the old one.

These disgruntled governors should stop with-hunting the woman and allow her to relax after a selfless service to the nation for years. They should rather be focused on their constitutional responsibilities rather than continuing with their distractions, if at all they have anything to offer.

Hi all: Pls what should I do about the following issues with my mini laptop:

1. its battery used to last up to 7 hours after it has bn fully charged, but now, the battery can hardly take up to 2hours, even though the indicator still shows roughly six hours?

2. Its bluetooth is always on anytime I boot the system now, whereas it used not to be so before.

3. Is it a better idea for me to upgrade to windows 8 from windows 7?
CareerRe: Is It Right For A Pastor Work In An Alcohol Manufacturing Company? by Okponee: 7:28pm On Apr 23, 2015
CrazyMan:
The Bible doesn’t condemn alcohol. The only reference made to alcohol in the Bible is do not take too much of wine, don't be filled with wine".

Prophets, men of God and even Jesus himself all drank wine. And in his last moments on earth, he (Jesus) gave his disciples wine and bread and specifically instructed us to keep drinking wine in remembrance of him.

But despite the fact that Jesus and his disciples were known for drinking wine, (in fact one of Jesus first miracles was the turning of water into wine) it was never recorded anywhere in the bible that he (Jesus) nor his disciples got drunk. They choose to be filled with more of the holy ghost than the wine they consumed.

So you see these alcohol stuff has to do with the individual state...people detest alcohol not because the bible strongly forbids it but because they feel its not good.

Tell your pastor in-law to accept the job offer. Whether or not he consumes it is up to him to decide. But in the meantime, he has a family to carter for.
Hi pal! Happy to read ur points, but I differ from them. There's a difference between alcoholic wine and non-alcoholic wine. When Jesus turned water into wine, there's no record that He introduced alcohol into it.

Secondly, can you measure the level of alcohol that makes a person to be described as being "filled with it". All the guys I've ever seen quoting the same portion of the Bible were at different level of intoxication, even while quoting it. It is not only when a person staggers and fall that he can be said to be drunk. There are different levels of drunkenness ...... eyes red; talking more rapidly and loudly etc.

Furthermore, as someone has already noted here on this thread, Christian life is a life of sacrifice to promote the Kingdom and culture of God. The Bible says that "those who are strong should help those who are weak" and apostle Paul added that "all things are permissible to me, but all things are not expedient...." You may claim that you can take wine and not get drunk, but what of the various persons who follow you to do it, while they are not that strong? Some of them end up having their destinies thwarted in the process. After all what do you stand to lose if you don't drink alcoholic drinks. Most people only drink such in order to "belong".

I thank God so much for His grace granted me over my TMAs. I'm one of those who have been advocating the need for our students to work hard on their studies and do their TMAs as well as their exams by themselves.

I want to assert that it really pays for one to work hard. I did my Course and exam registration somehow late, due to the nature of my job. So, I got my materials late. I can remember how I came to this thread to ask of the time our TMAs would end, and a fellow replied to my question somehow rude, without knowing why I asked the question.

I had the opportunity and money to have paid someone to do the TMAs for me, but that would contradict my stand. So, I had to take a bold step to embark on intensive studies in all the 8 Courses I had registered for, about three weeks ago, and at the same time prayed God to help me so that the TMAs would be on the portal till I would be through with them.

As at now, I have successfully done 28 out of the 32 TMAs I's to take, scoring 10, 9.5, 9, 8.5, 8 in most of them. I'm now working on the remaining 4 TMAs, which I hope to complete by tomorrow. This has really helped me in my exams--- 3 exams so far written successfully.

I really thank God for that, and also use this opportunity to appeal to all of us to do our best in our studies, so that we will not only collect certificates at the end, but will also be able to defend such certificates and stand out in our chosen fields of study anywhere we find ourselves. No matter the nature of your engagement, create time to study, visit NOUN websites www.noun.edu.ng and www.nou.edu.ng, as well as your portal. Also visit your study centre when need be and ask relevant questions, even in this thread in order to keep abreast of development in the school. Endeavour to be ICT-compliant.

I's amazed to see some persons who were so blank when they appeared for exam. some didn't even know that they were supposed to be cleared for exam, not to talk of few who would want another person to tell them what to write in all the questions. Some are so much afraid of the computer that they would not even want to go near it. Hmmm----- postgraduate students------- then I wonder how the undergraduates are faring. Please learn to deal with these issues now, before it's too late.

I thank all the well-meaning persons here, especially those who have been around to offer sincere help to people who needed such , at one time or the other. I was not available for sometime due to the nature of my work, and mostly because I had to use any available time to study for my TMAs and exams. Kudos to all........ and good success in all your exams!!!
