darelar: Noun is recognized and accredited by NUC. I study communication Technology and currently studying Info Tech with Noun. My colleagues that we graduated together has been working after we collected exclusion letter from NYSC. One is working with INEC, one with Environmental in bayelsa and many have upgraded in their working place. Wish you best of luck in Comm. TechHallo darelar! Can I have your phone number so I can reach out to you on some issues concerning ICT programme? |
Hi guys! Pls does any of you know about the IJMB programme run by the University of Uyo, in Abak L.G.A.------ when will the forms be out; how much is the form and how many years does the programme run? |
tobnical: u can divert to any computer/software related field when it comes to PHD; even masters. Computer Science and ICT are treated equally when it comes to MSc or PHD admission. †ђξ main thing is to have †ђξ required grade points.Ok. Thank you very much, my brother. |
Hi all: Pls does anyone here know which University in Nigeria offers Information and Communications Technology (ICT) up to PHD level? |
ferdimako: Wait then.Ok, I will. Tnx. |
ferdimako: U can only wait. I believe it is not a non-examinable course. No, it is an examinable course in PGDE. EDU724- Guidance and Counselling, but it doesn't appear on my TMA page. |
Hallo guys: Pls I need your advice on this issue: I added all my Courses on the TMA portal manually, but one of the Courses has not shown ever since the day I added (over one week now). What should I do to get it on my TMA page? |
Hallo guys: Pls what should I do about this issue: I added my TMAs in all my courses manually, but none of the TMAs in one of the courses has appeared, even after I had added. |
oladaeyo: i have replied you.. I have the printed version...How much do u wana payThank you for your concern, oladaeyo. But I didn't see the reply. I'd already got a photocopied version before I saw this post. Anyway, I'm grateful. |
ferdimako: hahaha..Mr 'insulter'.@ ferdimako: I don't understand what you mean by this. What in my comment leads to this submission? What is insulting in my statement? I need some clarification. |

Does it mean that there's no one here that has ever got the good study guide? No one has ever dared to comment on such issue when I requested. How then do you guys handle questions on the stuff? |
oladaeyo: iN CAse we have lazy students that cant do tmas...i can do your tmas for you. MSC INFO TECH 2nd sem .....CIT 834, 844, 854, 852, 802...let us discuss for tutorials....27/30 sure. NOT FREE!I believe that it will be better if we can rather encourage our folks to study well and do their TMAs and exams by themselves. It's only when we do so, that we can together enhance the acceptability of NOUN's integrity as a reliable Institution of learning. Some folks in the country are still doubting NOUN's ability to produce credible graduates and that is something that affects all of us. So, I do solicit the co-operation of all of us here, to do our best in our studies, so that we will not only receive certificates, but will also be able to defend same and stand out in our chosen vocations. |
Okponee: Hallo pals! |
Hallo pals! Is there anyone among us who has a copy of "the good study guide" for sale at a reduced price? If you have one, kindly let me know immediately. Thanks. |
toask111: Add them manually. GoodLuck! godstino2002: Yea. Enter them one after the otherThank you guys. I will do that later on today. |
Hallo guys! I did my exam registration yesterday, but I'm yet to see any TMA. What should I do....... should I go ahead to add all of them manually? |
professorgome: It is not useful requesting for past tma questions. Try to do it yourself. TMA is something you have to first print out, go home, eat and sleep, drink, smoke if you like. Then you sit down with it and your study materials and find answers to the prevailing questions that are therein. TMA help you to study your course material. Wishing to have a solved one is tantamount to asking for answers in the examination hall.I'm very excited about this piece of info you have given to our guys here, who, instead of doing their best to study hard/ prepare well for their exams, are busy looking for "wrong help". Many Nigerians are yet to subscribe to the credibility of NOUN, and we are the people to support the Institution to boost its credibility by working hard to ensure that we don't only get a good qualification/grades, but are also able/ ready to defend it anyway. The way NOUN is structured, any well-meaning student can be well equipped in his/ her chosen career line to stand out and confront issues effectively among his colleagues from conventional Universities, if he works hard. I get disappointed several times when I go through the type of English Language that most of our colleagues have been using to express themselves here (I'm not talking about slight mistakes that anyone can make, but serious blunders), as well as their desire to have others to solve all the questions and send to them. I keep on thinking of the future of our great country. I therefore use this opportunity to appeal to NOUN students here to kindly be prepared to work hard; ask relevant questions that will help you to understand what you are studying very well; learn to search for relevant info (visit NOUN portals www.noun.edu.ng and www.nou.edu.ng by yourself and your study centre where necessary); try your best to get practical knowledge on your area of specialization where necessary; print out your TMA questions and interact with your course mates to solve them etc. We should work together to boost the standard of this Institution. The School is heading somewhere. There will come a time that for people to gain admission to NOUN, he/she will go through more tedious processes. I personally gained admission for my Postgraduate studies in January, but I had to wait till now before commencing the programme in order to make some necessary enquiries about the acceptability of NOUN certificates. Having been satisfied to a large extent, I'm about to pay my fees and move on with the programme. Thanks all |

newazuka: Pls can I meet you, am an aspiring post graduate and what to know how much it will cost, okoroazuka@yahoo.comFor any postgraduate programme, apart from Doctorate, you are to pay a compulsory fee of N40k first, if you are a new student. When that is done, you will then have access to the courses you are to register for the semester. So, the amount of money you are to pay in addition, will depend on the courses you are to register for, as well as the exam fee for each of them. See www.noun.edu.ng and www.nou.edu.ng for all the info you need. |
ferdimako: No clue..let that be ur concern that u dig to get an answer for between now and d next enrollment period of January 2015. Remember u can go to any study center for official updated info or rely on students. So law students, what is up on law school? NYSC? Mak una dey ask NOUN! No ASUU strikes! No students' Union!I attended the just-concluded Orientation/Matriculation exercise for my PG programme, and we were reliably informed that NOUN law graduates are admitted into the Law schools. Also, any Programme offered by NOUN are accredited by NUC. We asked such questions. |
Pls can someone use a certificate from NOUN, say PGD, to do his Master's degree programme in a conventional university? |
professorgome: Where did you get the 3 semesters for PGD information from? Noun use 2 semesters and no separate semester for project. No bros. It's 3 semesters officially, for PGDE. See the -List of registrable courses for 2014 below, which I downloaded from NOUN portal: |
Hallo pals! Pls kindly help me out on the following issues: 1. if Someone gets a PGD from NOUN, can he use it to do Master's degree course in any conventional University. 2. PGDE takes 3 semesters because of Project and teaching practice. Is it possible for one to register some second semester courses during 1st semester so that he can take the Project as one of the courses in 2nd term, in order to avoid 3rd term. 3. If I must do the Project and Teaching practice during 3rd term, will I still be required to pay any fees for that term? |
Lionbite: goes within the range ₦35,000-₦38,000Ok. Tnx bros. |
Pls how much is Techno phantom pad? |
rationalmind: Just in case it doesn't happen, promise me u'll openly declare your self a false prophet and also declare the bible false.@ rationalmind: Pls leave the Bible out of such rubbish, as what you read is only obadiah777's interpretation of The Bible, which is not correct. @ least 150 weeks period is not long from now for every eye to see that what he said is not the Truth. When the said period of time elapses and it doesn't happen as he's predicted, then everyone will confirm him a 'fake prophet', but it's not the Bible that says so. |
Just imagine!!! Hypocritical rebels declaring Fasting/ prayer. Was the strike waiting for them to have problem in pdp before they show concern?? They think they can cajole people to support them anyhow. |
brightk: i tink vlc might help in this case cos it can help in vol increase.. bt u can amplify d voice by connecting a headfone cable 4rm ur laptop 2 maybe a sound system...y ur vol is @ moderate level u can apply d vol of the sound system..Ok, tnx very much. I will try it, esp the 1st option. |
Mintayo: 15 ways to know if you're ready for Marriage:Though I agree with you on few of the points you have raised, as per what we need to work on, yet, I totally disagree with you on your position that until one is ok in all the areas you have mentioned, he is not ready for marriage. The most important thing in marriage is for each of the couple to be ready to sacrifice as much as possible, to have a peaceful and fruitful marriage. So many successful marriages started with at least, one of the couples missing many or all the points you mentioned above, but with determination, they gradually adjusted along the line until they could get along well with each other. |
teemy: It’s easy to find the cause of the 500 error, if you use CPanel, open error logs and look for the the line with the URL you meet the error, it will explain to you itself why the error happens and you can solve it then.
