seunmsg:The worst part about this particular lie, to me, was that it wasn't even necessary. He could have made his point that Nigerians in diaspora are excelling in all walks of life without having to tell such a stupid lie on national tv. Makes you wonder what goes on in that head of his. He lies just like ipobs used to lie during the Nnamdi Kanu hype years; I mean that point in time they were just lying all over the place and dropping fake stats. |
garfield1:Well, it's the Yorubas that are aiding and abetting their excesses on Yoruba soil that I blame, not them. The thing is, they're the only settlers that give Yorubas problem in Lagos, the only ones. Yorubas are the only ones that allow such insane level of liberalism in their land, not even the SS or Northern minorities would tolerate such. |
garfield1:Well, Igbos in and out of Lagos have been making provocative statements and gestures that make this particular incident unsurprising. But all their antics will come to nothing in the end. |
garfield1:Your answer might be in the dailyTrust report on the apprehension of the suspects. https://dailytrust.com/why-we-attacked-tinubus-convoy-in-lagos-suspect

They were definitely sponsored to carry out the act. |
yoruba1914:Awolowo ran with an igbo Christian in 1979 and nobody said kpim against it. Zik also picked a Christian vice. The Muslim North didn't make an issue of it. In that close election of '79, Awolowo got 4.9-million votes as against Shagari's 5.6-million. In 1983, Awolowo picked a Muslim vice candidate and the margin between he and Shagari was 4-milion+. Anyone against Muslim-muslim ticket is free to vote against it. Enough of the noise. |
Awolowo and Azikiwe already set the precedents for same-faith Christian-Christian tickets and nobody made a fuss about it. Those making noise are doing so because they know this Tinubu-Shetima combo is the ticket to beat, else all their ariwo doesn't even make sense, when it's not as if there aren't other alternative parties/candidates to pick from. |
SmartPolician:Your hot tears are very delicious. Dat ekun egbere tears go extend for another 8-years. |
I've come to the conclusion that if Tinubu could survive the OBJ years and EndSars Tsunamis (the original intent of endsars agitation was hijacked by his political detractors and Ipob sympathizers who manipulated the youths to turn Tinubu into the focus of their angst), he can survive anything. The guy's nickname should be Mr. Survivor. |
The pastor hasn't said anything new. Anyone that has been following Tinubu's political career can easily project and come to the same conclusion as the pastor. It's also the same reason why his choice of a running mate is generating so much interest, especially amongst his political enemies and detractors. They know he's the man to beat in the upcoming presidential election. |
This Fake prophet is at it again. It's either Peter Obi wins or we will go back to hawking Biafra like gala. Nigerians must choose between voting Peter Obi or giving us Biafra, the choice is theirs. You people must think we are joking with our 'Obidient' movement. E go shock Una. ![]() |
garfield1:I don edit that comment. |
garfield1:No. More like 250 votes. But then again, PO's deputy has said social media would vote, so hey, maybe you're on to something. |
This garfield guy just likes to dash Labourers jara votes wey no even make sense in his permutations. ![]() |
Can't Atiku attend to his health abroad in peace All this reporters sef. |
BigSarah:Akuko. Maybe you mean the Simon Ekpa faction, which has since lost its relevance due to Peter Obi's emergence as a contender in the upcoming presidential elections. The overwhelming majority of ipob supporters have dumped the Biafra struggle (at least for the time being) to join Peter Obi's campaign train. Only a dishonest observer would deny that glaring fact and trend. I just hope for their sake that PO wins else it'll be back to their 'Biafra of Death' and 'zoo must fall' ways. ![]() |
BigSarah:No true Peter Obi supporter would ever say or entertain such possibility. You must be a fake supporter. With all the social media love and adulation PO is enjoying from ipob and Ibo people everywhere, you dare to say this? I'm disappointed in you. |
Lies. No touts in Onitsha, only flesh-eating UnGunKnownMen. |
No need. Doyin Okupe would do just fine as VP to Peteru Obi. According to one of his staunchest supporters, Ibo people have nothing in common with Northerners. So no point disguising.
|
felong:This is a public forum so I have every right to air my opinion. You Obi supporters are just a bunch of intolerant cry-babies. Were you expecting everyone on this thread to agree with your permutations before? Others like myself are bound to have different perspectives and we'll air them whether you like it or not. You can't bully everyone into accepting your position. Never. |
felong:Those you consider 'Nigerian youths' are majorly former ipob sympathizers/endsars arsonists cum modern-day 'Obituraries'. FYI, you people don't have a monopoly of 'youth' in your ranks. APC can equally argue that it has armies of SW and North-based youths that are ready and awaiting marching orders to vote for their party's candidate, so the idea that 'all' or 'majority' of Nigerian youths are supporting Peter Obi is blatantly false. There are youths amongst the ranks of the supporters of every major candidate in the race. Know that and know peace. |
Peter Obi would only end up splitting PDP votes in Alaigbo, but I still think that on the eve of the elections more than half of the Igbo electorate would switch to Atiku after facing the reality of Obi not being electable. Ekweremadu already hinted us of that eventuality. Obi himself might even step down for Atiku. But even more importantly, ipob would frustrate electioneering activities, thereby having a negative effect on voter turnout in the region. |
I also know of three mad-men that Peter Obi regularly consults with. Either of them would make a good VP to Mazi Peter Obi.
|
I expect another round of wailing and lamentations on this thread. ![]() |
AmehTsaev:Omo Ibo forming middle-beltan , all of una be fraudsters just like your himTuLie principal. When you tire to dey disguise, you go answer your papa name. Oloshi like you. Now gtf off my mention. Ediot. |
AmehTsaev:Perhaps you're the mad man your principal famously said he consults for ideas, coz you're not making any sense dude. If that's the case then he should pity you and should atleast take you to the nearest asylum, rather than leaving you to continue running naked all over Anambra, upon all the 'mad' ideas you've been giving him over the years. But should he refuse or fail to do that, incoming president Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would see to it that you're evacuated from the streets to be rehabilitated back to sanity. |
AmehTsaev:Las las, you and your fellow cultists will move en masse to Alaigbo to vote for your supleme leader as Biafran president. Nigeria doesn't want nor does it need a cult leader (be it Kanu or Obi). If that's what y'all desire, good luck. But your attempts to force him on the rest of the country will be vehemently resisted. Know that and know peace. |
AmehTsaev:E pain am. Why do you sound pained over my comment? Lemme guess, those 2-million views you saw really destabilized you, bah? All of us can't be stupid at the same time. You 'obidients' (or is it 'obituaries', take your pick) have shown yourselves to be ipob-level numb-skullz who've traded your thinking faculty in subservience to your latest cult of personality (yesterday Nnamdi Kanu was the pet project, right now it's Peter Obi). When the Obi project fails (as expected), you'll either go back to Mazi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, or create another cult of personality around someone else to satisfy your cult dependency. |
Hope his ipob minions would tune in, because it seems most of them are currently on loan to the Peteru Obi movement. ![]() |
Na the silent majority dey express themselves via the jagabanchallenge. The lousy minority on twitter can continue in their delusions. |
donaldking10:Here's one of them. Look here, you go shout you go tire. Nairaland is not igboland where you and your ipob ilk intimidate your docile kinsmen into silence via bullying. Your bully tactics can't work on the national level. Never. Na with this nonsense mentality una wan take preside over the entire country? You are a joker. If e sure for you, go out tomorrow during sit-at-home in your SE base, let's see if you don't loose your head. |
Too bad he's going to have to get used to doing more damage control thanks to the extremist behaviour of the ipob elements in his support groups. Those ones were trained by ipob machinery to railroad their views on fellow Igbos without any tolerance for dissenting opinions. That strategy was a resounding success in igboland, sotay you can't openly criticize ipob without suffering violent consequences. Now they're trying to take that to the national level. But unfortunately for them, it won't work. |
