nope, repogirl's false pretences was completed cos dat was d fest novel i ever read on nairaland. The i dont know of audrey timms cos i ve neva read her works tho av been hearin alot abt her. So back do d issue, nobody say she shouldnt monetize her work but she promised to complete it here and as her fest work, i believe she owes her fan that(tho no law stipulates such), but she made a promise and made us believe she would keep her promise....well she didnt. If she had directed us to her blog to complete it, it would have been better but stopping d work here and monetizing it is jst unfair 2 most of her fans. Secondly. Her reply to critics no be here at all o. Granted not everybody can be like repogirl(mrs delay is not denial lolz), onihaxy nd bibijay(my 3 best writers) in terms of tackling fans nd criticism but atleast dont be harsh on ur fans or trow in foul words to all ur fans, not all barking dogs u trow stone at remember? Her reply to austin binks was not cool even wen he stated his comment cooly, a fellow writer like her o. Well itz her choice but wat i believe in life is "make service in life with humility fest nd success will follow". Try to read oda writers works here nd learn how 2 reply critics, it will go a long way. My little advise to her. Tanx.
I really get your point but I really don't think throwing daggers and spears in form of words at her is gonna help much. I have seen the way she respond at times to critics both here anfd her other trend and have come to a conclusion that it her temperament so let just understand her own individual difference and move on....Thanks bro....you should try Audrey timms letting go before it up for sale, I bet you gonna thank me later

Getting A Life is not my first story here...but the way most people here harp on it as if I haven't completed 3 other stories on this site, it's like I'll just pull it down

I didn't write it for NL originally and it's on hiatus on that site even.

If I had the time or means, I would have published one of the 3 just wasting away here
Yh I have read all of your works here and they are all awesome. Mentioning getting avlife was not to insult you but honestly I will like to know if it has been completed...Sorry if I got you angryangry
onihaxy:

sweetie, I can bet it that you haven't gotten one quarter of the insults I received here on nairaland alone. some even said I should give up on writing, saying I have no talent. but guess what, the same set of people are my greatest undercover customers buying my books.
I have taken time to read through all the posts from page 0 to the last page and I can say it with boldness that you are good at your write up. its among the best I have seen around here. but let me chip in this,
* find a way to bridge the gap between your rich fans and the other counterparts who can't afford to buy.
* study more on how to handle critics and insults. I think the best method that worked for me was to ignore the extreme insults and win the hearts of the minor "insulters"
* be closer to your fans and let them see a reason to support your hustle, you can't achieve that violently.
* don't be too comfortable, work more on your writing and story telling skills.
according to my best quote in 3 idiots. " chase excellence and your passion, then success will chase you pants down.
Baba, me I fall for you ooooo

I will forever respect nairaland writers like TiffanyJ, D9ty7, candy, onihaxy, safarigirl and a host of other great writers too numerous to mention. They have been writing stories here without demanding money from readers, though they might ask but they won't make it to look forceful like yours, and they would still continue to post here... I am not saying that you should not sell your story but you are acting as if you are too broke and desperate... My dear sister calm down
Repogirls False pretence, was it completed before she put it up for sale, Audrey timms Unfulfilled Promises are now on sale and you can't get it free any where, safarigirls get a life is still were without progress so you should understand that we have individual differences, that she choose to commercialise her first story doesn't mean she is broke, Audrey Timms, repo girl and some other have done DAT and nobody talk so make una free this lady jare...ANGELSSS abeg we dey expect you for That awesome thread.... Song For love...be fast about the update...thanks
