It seems this NSCDC CG is planning to seek another approval for 10,000 new intake to be recruited next year, he purposely put this one on hold because it doesn't favour him. He would now add it together with the new intake in 2022. That's what I think o

Immigration has concluded 3 months induction and yet they haven't received any salary since. I think the same thing would be applicable to NSCDC. How do they expect the poor applicants to cope for the whole 3 months without a penny, some of them are even married, they have family to cater for

If this is true then must of us that didn't pay deserve to be invited for interview atleast base on merit i.e if merit exist in Nigeria.

At this stage I think luck comes to play because there is no way they can shortlist everybody who met the cut off mark base on merit since they have a stipulated numbers approved by the board to be shortlisted which is 6,500

In 9ja, any damn thing is possible
Aregbe is even too much, if you know a board member do you need to be among the 6,500 that they will still screen to 5000? Is it not easy for them to just include your name on the 5k to be employed directly?

It's very possible, let me tell you that the appointment letters of those senior cadres BSc/Hnd are ready, some people who didn't even apply let alone writing CBT or screening have their letters included. So calm down for now, it's not over yet, documentation and appointment letter is the last stage.

Those who have sure connections did not even apply let alone having application number or sit for the exam, they won't even appear at any screening centre, to make it through the collection of appointment letters and documentation is the main Target for them. May God see us through

A candidate posted this info below almost 4 weeks ago. Perhaps by next week successful candidates will start receiving messages.

LET ME HELP DISPELL SOME RUMORS AND UNCERTAINTIES HERE.

For those that went for screening and asking what's next.

What if it takes up to a year after induction before going for training, would successful candidates be staying at home idle and be receiving monthly salaries or they would be posted to the place of assignments?

1. After a month or so successful one's will will receive either a text or email inviting them for documentation and final verification of documents (Your documents will be verified again during documentation).
It's usually in your zone like the verification exercise.
2. After successful documentation you will proceed to open a pension account (Usually agents of one or more Pension Administrators will be available there) and then you will enroll and capture for IPPIS.
3. When you're through with all that you will be given an introduction letter which you will take to your state of origin immigration service command.
4. After a week or so your state command will call you for a 4 - 6 Weeks induction exercise.
5. If you have no problem with your IPPIS enrollment you will receive your FULL SALARY after one month no allowances.
6. The service will start arrangement for training of the new intakes which is done based on cadres.
Note: It may take up to a year (in extreme circumstances) before you go for training.
7. When you're in training school the service will stop paying you salary. You will only be given an allowance of #15,000 monthly.
Note: Your salary will be accruing for the months you're undergoing training and will likely be paid after 2 or 3 month of commissioning.

What if it takes up to a year after the induction before finally going for training, would successful candidates be staying idle at home and be receiving salaries or they would be posted to their various offices and stations?

The way am looking at it, they may cancel the ongoing recruitment and start another one afresh maybe next year. When they changed the former CG that started this particular recruitment in February, I knew issues like these will come up because there's no continuity in Nigeria.

NSCDC RECRUITMENT UPDATE:

PRESS STATEMENT
NSCDC PURPORTED RECRUITMENT: BEWARE OF SCAMMERS.

Ref: AAA.003/CPRD/NHQ/ABJ/VOL. 4/002

The attention of the management of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has been drawn to some fake messages currently being circulated on social media inviting applicants for NSCDC recruitment examination scheduled to take place at some undisclosed venues.

The Corps wishes to distant itself from this fraudulent and malicious act of some unscrupulous elements in their attempt to hoodwink unsuspecting Nigerians especially the youths into thinking that NSCDC has commenced it's recruitment process thereby demanding for unsolicited assistance and kickbacks to influence the selection process.

It is instructive to state unequivocally that the maliciously circulated information about NSCDC Recruitment Examination is not only untrue and misleading but mischievous, fraudulent, unfounded and did not emanate from the stable of the Corps but sent out by scammers and fraudsters in their quest to swindle innocent job seekers.

The general public is therefore advised to take this SCAM ALERT very seriously so as not to fall victim under any guise. Consequently, applicants are advised to disregard the rumours of any recruitment examination, screening or selection process as it is a new trick adopted by criminal elements to defraud, molest, kidnap and kill their unsuspecting victims.

The Newly Appointed Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, Mni is presently studying the current position of the recruitment exercise which was commenced by his predecessor with a view to coming up with a well structured, transparent and credible template as well as time-bound plans to conclude the process in record time.

To this end, the Corps is using this medium to warn anyone using the name of the organization to dupe, scam or defraud innocent Nigerians to desist forthwith from such criminal act before the long arm of the law will catch up with them, imminently as the Commandant General has ordered a serious manhunt for those behind the sinister agenda with a promise to bring the perpetrators to book.

Shinzokiyotake:
Continuation
“It is the prerogative of the Board. The Board is in charge of the promotion and discipline of officers. The same Board conducted the Exams; they are the ones that did the Conversions we are talking about. About 162 of those people, who were involved in that exercise, were involved in document falsifications, which affected their exercise. The Board was the one that conducted the exercise, and were the ones that promoted them. Some documents were not genuine’ some people were promoted above where they deserved to be. There were errors that were noticed by the Board themselves and they withdrew the letter of 162 of them”, Sola Odumosu indicted the Board.
But the then Secretary of the Board who supervised the 2019 promotion and conversions exercise of the Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire and Correctional services, Al Hassan Yakmut, who retired from the service in May, told this paper that the exercise was manipulated by the NSCDC headquarters saying, “Civil Defence has a problem with Data management. When they were compiling the list, they included the people who were not mature for the exercise, It is not an issue, if it is an issue it would have affected Immigration, Fire and Correctional Services. There are four services under the Board. Prior to every examination, a memo is always sent to them to bring the list of their eligible officers, people who are mature for the next rank. Let NSCDC improve on their record management. For instance in that exercise Civil Defence shortlisted over 13,000 candidates in those exams. When the Board cross checked, they found out that not up to 9000 of them were qualified for promotion examinations.
“The exam was initially at compilation level; the four Services presented 27,000 candidates. When we double checked their records, we found out that some did not meet the requirement. 162 is not a small number at all. How can the NSCDC say it is falsification? There is a complete Data management office that has 6 ICT Experts. Anything computerized cannot be falsified. There is a complete computerized office, 4 are dedicated to each service, and then 2 are collapsing each case of discipline. I know what I did there for the three years I spent there, we established the Data Management Centre, so unlike before you can get any information, and you have to rely on what the services give. We also have corresponding documents to trace your year of recruitment. For instance, conversion cannot be done until you add a new certificate with permission from the service. Civil Defence was giving people Exam reference numbers at the venue. How can you do that on examination day? They said they have a supplementary list. You don’t do supplementary and promotion examinations and that is what resulted in the problem they are having. Let them tidy up their house”, Yakmut slammed Indeed the Director of Information, Ministry of Interior, Adjobome Lere-Adams when contacted told AljazirahNigeria that the supervising ministry was not in picture of the withdrawal of promotion and conversion of Civil Defence personnel. “Ï have contacted those that should know in the minister’s office and they said they are not aware. Direct your enquiry to the NSCDC”, she said.
AljazirahNigeria gathered that some of the affected personnel have taken their written protest to the Accountant General of the Federation, OAGF’s office as many of them claimed despite the demotion they were not paid the exact salary of the rank which they were reverted.
Sources emanating from the IPPIS and the OAGF confirmed these claims in a chat with our reporter. .

Ordinarily, all these promotion wahala shouldn't affect the recruitment list from being released now. Before the new intake finish screening and all that , it will still take them like two months so they would have done with whatever issue they have with promotion

I am proposing Monday,14th of June 2021 as our day of fasting and prayers. Even if you cannot fast just say a word or two concerning NSCDC 2019 recruitment.

The delay in the shortlisting process is not ordinary, infact it's obvious the greedy politicians with their constant demand for slots have hijacked the whole process. Personally, I don't see a reason why a federal government recruitment which commenced in 2019 cannot be concluded even in the face of deteriorating security situation in the country.

Our prayers is when the list is finally out, our names will not be replace with those who didn't even go through the stress of the recruitment exercise.

Finally, we should be encourage and United in prayers because we can 'chase ten thousand' when we believe.

Amen and Amen! Well spoken brother
Nigeria is not ready to combat the menace of insecurity, after three years that FG had approved the recruitment of ten thousand personnel for Nscdc and immigration respectively before it was reduced to five thousand because of budgetary constraint, some people still think it's absolutely normally to delay the recruitment even at this critical time that the new intake would have assisted the country in the fight against insecurity. What a country! What a bureaucratic inefficient of a Nation! Buhari is not our major problem in this country but some people who he appointed into various positions, these people are bent on bringing his government down.

Why should new CG alter the list? Assuming he has his way, he would have altered in and fill most of the vacant posts with his own people too. So no one among them is fighting for the common people's interests but theirs. The new CG should have released the list like that and wait for his own turn to conduct another recruitment

Am not sure it's the junior staffs promotion exam that's delaying the release of the recruitment list. Since 2 years ago that they started the recruitment, I think FG gave them the exact number of new intake, wether promotion exam or not, they will still take that number which is 5000. So for now, nobody knows what's delaying the list
