It's not about getting played everytime, these are basic stuffs that can be spotted in minutes. I noticed these things when I watched him closely for his national team.

There is nothing he does better than fred as a CM. I knew something was up when Goosen, De Jong and Gini were preferred to VdB in the pivot for The Netherlands national team.

He is also not a proper AM, I guess he might play better as the most advanced CM in a 3 man midfield.

As a CM sef he is average, very little ball carrying and progression abilities. No way he is getting ahead of Bruno anytime soon, the earlier we sell him the better it will be for both parties.

Fred's passing range is limited sha... make e dey play safe passes jare, omoloomo.

VdB dey play like say him no dey train with this team. He is always making runs behind the opponent's defense line, but the team does more of ball to feet, quick passes, and 1-2s to create chances.

I will keep saying it... Ole needs to man up and kick De Gea out of the team. We drew that game because of De Gea, at 2 - 0 Everton were practically done and De Gea decided to push a weak cross towards the path of Doucoure. That error caused unnecessary tension.

For the last goal, De Gea was more worried about getting clattered by DCL than conceding the goal.
