slimghost: After all this blabbing, you still came to my conclusion that the boy has no future here. He reminds me of Cleverly in many ways. This is my problem with most football fans! You cannot have a team of 23 Tier 1 players! There's something called a wage structure and player quotas. Players like McTominay and Lingard will always have a future in a football club. There is a need to also consider the manager's tactics, from today's game and others that McTominay have played he has been OKAY. No unnecessary risks or mistakes. McTominay is a squad player that is why he is not playing week in week out. Lmao! Cleverly, dude is synonymous to the average and ordinary. |

Lukaku has scored 20 goals in 38 games. 10 more goals and he would have had an excellent season.
I hope for a quarter-final draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford then an easy draw in the Semis and finally City at Wembley for the Finals. |

slimghost: Even as a young player, we knew Lingard's strenght. Please what is Mactominay's strenghts as a footballer? What did McTominay do wrong today? He played according to instruction and did what was expected of him. He recycled possession effectively and he was the midfielder appointed to start the pressing and make tackles among the 3 midfielders today. If you don't understand the mechanics and tactics of football, keep calm and learn. If McTominay was not playing well he won't be in the team. Do you expect him to play like Pogba, making fancy 50m passes and some flicks? If he makes a wrong pass you will be the first guy to crucify him. As a back up he is OKAY. Nevertheless, with Fellaini and Carrick leaving in the summer there is a need to get 2 solid Tier 1 or 2 midfielders such as Jorginho of Napoli, Savic of Lazio and Seri of OG Nice. I am a little bit sceptical of players from the Serie A though. Abeg bros free McTominay. |

Ephaig: Which Lingard is that? Pogba should be playing further up out of the 3 midfielders if truly we are playing with 3 in the middle. Lingard has lesser defensive duties and plays further up. That should be Pogba You Forget that Lingard covers so much ground doing most of his defending "upfield" by pressing relentlessly. |

MoR2: what arrant nonsense so if I said a bird in hand is better than 10 in the bush you will start typing a speech about how birds fly.
So you wake up in the morning look at yourself in the mirror and say you have sense when you clearly refuse to respect yourself.
You took a simple expression as a statement as pa person way go school and we way no go. Guy no dey shame your elders.
Who is the arrogant one when your ignorant of what a phrase in context means. You took it out of context went into the bush and came out feeling fly with yourself by yourself.
Guy what is your point, wetin be your purpose. I told you guy this is a simple expression and you still came and type this crap again. You well so, abi your finger they scratch you.
But your funny o, what was the point of that your post. Read it again yourself and tell me what your point was. Nobody asked you, I don't give a damn about that crap you wrote it didn't answer my question. You flew out of the gutter and started coughing out piss telling me to listen. Are you ok, pls tell me am not responding to someone currently in a mental institution.
What is your problem olabode, simple it will not reflect in the end of the year account. Why is it hard for you to show courtesy and have sense does that show your educated.
You just taught crap that was not needed so I don't have right to refuse your trash. Guy make ask just again you well so.
Next time keep your sensible nonsense to yourself. Lmao... typical agbero illiterate. You made a misguided and incorrect statement and you were given free crash course in Assets and Liabilities. Instead of you to swallow your pride and offer unreserved thanks you begin to foam at the mouth like an slowpoke. It is nothing personal, I do not care about the subject matter that you were discussing about. It is laughable that you also mentioned that people dey vex while you do same shit. Dude, take the free knowledge to prevent you from displaying such ignorance in the future. |

MoR2: like the agreement bayern have with madrid 13M loan fee to buy 55M.
the fee is set doesn't mean the fee is paid and in business money at hand is what is counted.
forget all these your magomago yans, when psg does turnover at the end of the year that fee will not be included.
guy somethings you dey fall hand oh, so adds on are automatically paid abi. or you want to say manu paid everton 90M for lukaku. both english and maths fail you I am sorry to say sir, you know nothing about business. How can you say money at hand is what is counted There are other forms of assets apart from cash... E.g prepayments, receivables and other non-current assets. PSG will surely include the Mbappe deal as non-current liability in their financial statement but it won't affect their bottom line in the current year. Add-ons are tied to specific conditions, if these conditions are met payment would be made. Although Everton FC is guaranteed 75M quids for Lukaku's deal. Sometimes transfer fees are paid in instalments so your cash in hand story is laughable. |

Neymar1095: How desperate is Man United self to offer miki who alone is worth noting less than 40million in this transfer market to Arsenal + 35million on top. Agent fee nothing less than 5million. With 350k a week lol. Man City get sense Jor. Bros... keep quiet if you know nothing about the deal. It is going to be a straight player swap. United is not offering Mkhi + 35M for Sanchez. Although the club might have to pay the difference between Mkhi's contract and what is being offered to him by Assanal. Lastly, Money is not a problem for United. At least no one will say them Glazers are not read to spend. |

ctuagent007: It seems u guys don't understand that the Glazers would never spend that type of "big" u are looking for esp spending more than a 100m on a single player. And even if they do, at most it will be a 100m + a 40-50 player addition. All Barca has done is add some millions to the Neymar money for Dembele, Coutinho, Mina & Paulinho & Liver using the Coutinho deal for Dijk. The next big money is Kane & Madrid would borrow for that except u believe some papers speculating that utd could hijack that deal---we are talking of a 200m+ deal on a single player. Hmmmm... stop throwing unnecessary shots at them Blazers, Since Fergie left they have been paying top dollars for highly rated players as listed below; Pogba £89M Martial £57M Di Maria ~£60M Lindelof £35M Matic £40M I expect United to get either of Dybala or Harry Kane in the summer. It will be easier if we can get some top quality guys that will be out of contract by the summer for free or for small fees. The likes of Ozil and Goretzka comes to mind. The Glazers will break the bank for a "bankable" player. |

patrickmuf: Goretkza will really improve our midfield but we need to act fast, Bayern might just swoop in. I believe we can get him on 150K per month and with a promise of playing him regularly. Mourinho might have to contact him personally. He ticks the box in almost all the areas. Tall, smart on the ball and a solid passer of the ball. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by olabode89(m): 8:55pm On Jan 01, 2018 |
CapitalCee: The problem is Herrera did not take up the central midfield role well, Jose has to pull pogba back and place Lingard in the attacking midfielder position. we need somebody of big big quality to replace Herrera. we are just lucky that Matic has been fantastic this season. I do not agree fully with regards to what you think about Herrera. In a 4-2-3-1 system, he performs okay. Although his risk free style flavoured with side ways passing can be tiring. Nevertheless, it is effective. I hope the club is taking the possibility of getting an excellent midfielder like Goretkza of Schalke. I think he would be an excellent player to play with either Matic or Herrera. Pogba should never play as a holding midfielder again. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by olabode89(m): 8:43pm On Jan 01, 2018 |
From this performance we can clearly see that Pogba is not a holding midfielder and has no business playing as part of a 2 holding midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 system.
Jose needs to come up with a system where Pogba can impose himself with his attacking capabilities. Also he is not a number 10. That is the 90 million puzzle that Jose has to solve. |
