atheist5: actually seeing the level of trolling in this thread had lighten my day,well-done lana1,raumdeter and co. Chelsea has served me nothing but undiluted fuckery this season,it all started from conte, imagine selling a player that has given you 2 league titles in 3 years because of some stupid beaf,Costa would have buried moratas chance today,a guniune and unquestioned worldclass striker was sold for a Spanish unproven potential,Chelsea fans think hazard led us to glory last season,it was Costa at the first half of the season, then hazard from finished the job at the second half and usually got more recognition because the trophy is won that period, this clueless man sold one the best strikers on earth for someone that should be backup striker for a club of our statute Let's not forget the clueless board too ,it was in uniben burka I discovered in 32minutes that donkeyoko has to be the most terrible midfielder in world football, donkeyoko is one of those unique players that have nothing they can do,yet we sold matic, cheloboah and loaned RLC,to make space for this pure fool, infact am angry because I saw this coming, starting from Costa, why can't we have both Costa and morata in this squad?,why can't we buy players like mbappe, lemar and fabihno from Monaco, instead we bought a player who starts just because they have no one better, why can't loftus cheek start when fools like bakayoko cost 40milion? Chelsea football club is its own worst enemy, nuff said, raumdeter abeg play me any song called fustration
Dantedasz: Just glad to see the injured players back in the team. Ibrahimovic,Pogba and Rojo.Hope everybody stays fit till the end of the season. On the other hand,I think Lindelof will come good in the end. He just needs time to adjust to the pace of the EPL. Who knows, the fans criticizing him today may just be the ones singing his praise I'm a few weeks time.. A certain Fellaini comes to mind....
Any way on to the mid week games.
He needs to show significant improvement in his composure and tackling or he should never play in a 2 centre back system.

Hmmm... was it the pace of the EPL that made him miss a routine heading clearance or made him spin under the anointing of Ince against Huddersfield? Was it the pace of the EPL that made him look like a league one defender during pre-season? Was it the pace of the EPL that made him slip yesterday?
From experience gained over 15 years of actively watching football, fear and unease is the likely cost of slip ups during a football match. A defender that is susceptible to spinning when in a 1-one-1 decision, has got little or no faith in his tackling or is not a top level defender.
Lastly, something is wrong if a defender's best attributes are his ball playing skills and this is the situation with Lindelof. I believe that we should flip him for 20 to 25M, count our loss and move on.
KngGezy: Davido is made and can at least be compared to Wizkid.Davido has his style,Wizkid has his.No need to compare and contrast.I like both artistes,if they weren't beefing each other. They will be best of friends and nobody will want to know who's better.Just as Davido and Olamide are friends and nobody wants to know who's better. FIA is a hit Diss track and of course it is not unheard that artistes reply each other in their songs.
Are you for real? FIA a diss track?? Hmmm... People are getting tired of this new wave sound (mix of European dance sound and afrobeat), it seems like them producers are too lazy to come up with a new sound. It can still be the new wave sound but not spin-offs of Runtown's Mad over you.
It is so bad that Davido had to make a part of the song in a similar way like Mad Over you. Wishy washy lyrics, too many repetitions. What do I know, the song will receive massive airplay and will mostlikely be a "December hit".
Almost 24hrs after the defeat una still dey do party. I hope no one will bring into play moderation and maturity jibe when we pay in kind on the Chelsea thread...
JayKayMaybachz: Mctominay plays like Herrera.. But plays like a majured dude already. He did well.. Both going forward and tracking back like a b2b cm. I pity Pereira by time he'll come back from Spain.. Mctominay will take over. Always in a hurry
Pereira is not a proper central midfielder, he operates best as a wide midfielder or as a central attacking midfielder aka no 10. His inability to track back effectively means that the no 10 role will most likely be his best position in the future. Therefore I don't think his progress in the team when he returns will be affected by Scott's impressive run.
I share your sentiment about Pereira though, going on loan was a poor decision. Coupled with the lacklustre performances of Mhki and the inability of Jesse "headless chicken" Lingard in connecting the midfield and attack effective would have given Pereira some game time in the team.
I hope McTominay can improve his game further by learning from Matic and Carrick, keep things simple at this point, understand the need to guard space instead of getting pulled by the ball (he made this mistake against Benfica on numerous occasions) and finally take some risks by hitting forward passes instead of the Herrera esque sideways passing game. Scott is actually one of the tallest guys in the team so he improves our physicality when defending and attacking corners.
Whiteshades: The premier league should probably just relegate some teams before the end of the season. How will a championship side beat the first 11 of a premier league club 4 - 1 .
funlord: Chai! I just flew into eko for the weekend, checked into my hotel turned on the tube and saw 2-0? What a gwan? Have we been that bad at the back? Abeg make I order enough gulder first....
Lmao...
How on earth did we end up with Lindelof. Dude is something else... for the first Goal, although Mata lost the ball in the midfield, Lindelof was turned like eba by Ince.
Th second goal was an eyesore. And we paid 31M, chai... from what I have see so far dude is not better than Tuanzebe.
hoopLA: Eyah. Palace who haven't scored all season are looking like a million bucks. Because Pangolo no dey. Ok now. We dey here Make I go buy my cold water starch for my brocade.
Hehehehe... make I go bring out my agbada and Gucci sandals
sod09: a balance approach? When he clearly stated after the match the midfield was better than his own and he has no solution on the bench. You want him to lose then you call him out as a fraud
Lmao..
So you mean that Can and that Dutch Average MF will both walk into the United team? Why did Mou play two midfielders against three??
So after spending so much he is proud to say he couldn't do anything apart from full-beast mode defending to prevent the dominance Liverpool were enjoying in the midfield... okay okay..
diggz: Which team didn't get rimmed by barca then? Even the madrid you are talking about was relevant last in Europe before mou took over?
You say Italian league was in a comatose, was the entire Europe in comatose too when inter won the ucl. And when you count Juventus to be an A-tier club are you not arguing against your point or stand against inter?
If winning takes a solid tactics from the coach, robust display from the team and a bit of luck like you rightly pointed out above, which of them do you think he has lacked sofar in his coaching career?
We can go back and forth with the Mou conundrum and still end up with different positions, I like Mou as a manager but I was extremely irritated by his approach today. For crying out loud it was Looserpool and not a rampaging Madrd side.
I am not asking for a senseless attacking approach, naah... But a balanced approach won't kill Mou.
diggz: Being smart is part of the game bro. Even conte sat back to win against spurs few weeks ago. Conte was also hoping to do same against city before kdb happened.
I agree bro. But dishing out same "smart" defensive approach against every top team takes away the "smartness" of the approach.
Conte did it against City last season and got the reward. Conte does not do it against all top teams.
At a point in the Liverpool match United couldn't string 5 passes together, we were just hoofing the ball into the opposition's half. That is embarrassing.
diggz: He has coached madrid already. ManU is the biggest in England and he is the coach. He coached inter Milan and won champions league with them. He also coached fc Porto which is one of the biggest team in Portugal,if not the biggest.
Why did you make the bolded post below?
His time at Madrid was not as successful as he would have expected, he got battered and rimmed mercilessly by Barca. He had to fall back on some ultra defensive and negative minded tactics to calm the ferocious Barca current.
Inter... really?? The Italian league was in a comatose state when Mou dominated Italian football with no Juventus (demotion to serie B). He won the UCL through solid tactics induced "luck" and robust display. His Inter team were no unplayable and dominant in the UCL. Same thing at Porto.
chic2pimp: Jose played it smart today. Nah the same way Arsenal enter Anfield go chop 4 Kondos.
Why spend almost 200M quid if you plan to play smart?
Crystal Palace didn't play an ultra defensive style against Liverpool and they lost by one goal. It can be forgiven if Brighton or Huddersfield play the way United played together, but it is an abomination for a team that spent so much to play like a relegation bound team.
