MRTA7: I dont believe Bailly/Smalling is a good fit for a central partnership. I tire for Mou o! The partnership is DOA!! Poor tracking from Martial lead to that goal. Rojo had to tuck into the the box 18 and Cedric had so much space and time to send an excellent cross into the box. |

Ibime: Courtois would be better off without wall there. Brady can't beat him from that distance without wall. Exactly! Henry made mention of something similar some weeks ago. When a freekick is beyond 30m, the wall sometimes is detrimental to the defending team as it provides the freekick taker a path to direct the ball. |

Hypocrite extraordinaire. Bros, it was a penalty. The Liverpool player stuck out his leg. Clantenburg is reputed for giving the defender the benefit of doubt, he won't have given the Pk if there was no clear contact. |

LordIsaac: The fact is, they are exceptional. However, they need to migrate to better climes to justify their distinction. A first class in Microbiology without ever using any state-of-the art facility in that field makes your result questionable outside Nigeria. This Practical V Theory issue is laughable. Can those state of the art equipment be operated without excellent theoretical background and knowledge. People need to travel and see the world before they throw this mumbo jumbo about the ability to utilise equipment and to implement theoretical knowledge in a practical manner. As a Msc. student in a top university in Europe with Friends who are currently Msc. students, PhD Students at top Universities in Canada and US, for your information with dedication and "the never say die nigerian mentality" Nigerian students have/can learnt/learn to operate those state of the art equipments. 60% of Nigerian studies studying abroad are usually Research Assistants, what can you say about that? |

mrnigeria: To get a first class in Nigeria, you need a 4.50 GPA. On the other hand, in the Western world, a first class GPA starts from 4.0 to 4.3 depending on the country. It is a tradeoff. 4.5/5 is 90%. Meaning you have to get an A in 90% of your TNU? Most people complaining are underachievers. Let us learn to celebrate extraordinary feats. Everything is possible for those who dare to dream. May God bless you for this post. People complaining as you rightly stated are underachievers who mostlikely graduated from a shitty university. From experience I can rightly say that there is a high number of intelligent students in Nigeria. |

The level of jealousy and hate on this thread is worrying. I agree that graduating with 5.0 perfect CGPA is extremely difficult but it is achievable. Some fôôl stated that the girls will goof if they are asked questions on their course of study, smh... I don't know about every universities but I am extremely sure that any graduate from Unilag, OAU, UI, FUTO, UNN and ABU that finished with at least 4.0 CGPA can easily graduate in the top 20% of any school in the world. I know a lot of OAU aluminis that graduated with excellent grades from Universities in the US, Canada and Europe. People forget that Nigerians are mentally tough, competitive and we possess the "I can do all thing mentality" . The first 2 to 3 months might be challenging but smart Nigerian graduates usually adapt and become superstars in their class. |

How on earth is he expected to move to Spain for a lower salary package to a relegation threatened team in a more demanding La Liga where he is bound to pay more in taxes. At this stage of Mikel's career it is all about securing his future and extending is career as much as possible by playing in a less tasking league. Financial wisdom and reasoning is very important |

Ibime: Please name one AM that has been outscored by 3 seperate goalkeepers like Pius Eunuch Iniesta, or forever keep it shut.
The Xavi you are talking about was playing deeper than Iniesta and has outscored him by 75%
Zidane has outscored him by over 125% (more than double) despite playing in a low scoring 4-4-2 era for midfielders.
Don't you ever use Rogerio Ceni to put them in the same bracket.
Iniestas bracket is Jorge Campos and Jose Chilavert around the 50 goals mark. What a disgrace. You keep mentioning 3 goals keepers, it is only Ceni that scored more goals than Iniesta. |

Guseh: On FA Cup games this weekend.
The FA cup brings a different competition into the schedule this weekend. From a betting point of view, these games can be summed up in 1 word... MOTIVATION !
Are teams motivated to win? Will they play their strongest lineup ? Do they care (Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton) ? These teams tend to use the Cup to give the second team a run out. Players on the fringe of the 1st team, or guys that need game time. What you get is a disjointed lineup. Players are not match-fit, they have not played with each other enough, and there is no trust or real cutting edge. These 'BIG' teams turn in lethargic performances with no flow. It makes a tricky betting situation... A huge question ... What's the starting lineup and how will they play ? Lower league teams love the FA Cup. It's their biggest shot, and they are super MOTIVATED. The strongest squads are usually picked. Players 'UP' their game in an attempt to impress potential employers. This is their Champions League. It is also a more accurate platform for predicting outcomes of games, because there are fewer unknowns. If you are betting on FA Cup games, look at intensity, line up and motivation, and bet on teams that will play their strongest line-ups!
Good luck.... Bros... you got things slightly mixed up. Top teams like Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and co are super motivated to win the FA cup as it is the most prestigious cup tournament in England. It is usually the small to mid-table teams that are usually victims of clubs in the lower league. You correctly pointed out that teams in the lower division are usually highly motivated. There are frequent giant killing games in the FA cup, so guys bet with caution especially when teams close to the relegation zone in the EPL are playing lower division clubs. |

afrodoc2: I think that is the koko. Not that she never had the quality but that she somehow lost the aggression, drive and hunger that led her to the top. But something i have noticed over the last year especially in the big fights is that striking seems to be having a greater impact in the fights now and submission seems to be slowly taking a back seat. Truetalk about striking becoming the most important discipline in MMA. Some years ago Wrestling and Grappling was very important because most strikers had no answer or were like fish out of water in the clinch position and on the ground. Currently, a lot of fighters have improved their clinch, submission and takedown defence skills thereby severely limiting the Grappling advantage. On the other hand striking game dominated by traditional martial arts such as TKD and mainstream martial arts like boxing, kick boxing and Muay Thai requires years of experience, practice and sparring. Therefore guys such as Connor, Cody No Love, Steven Wonder boy and Jose Aldo with excellent striking game are set to dominate MMA (UFC). |

A40: Ronda went Hollywood. The calibre of female fighters went up several notches but it seems she was the last to know. She needs to come out of her Queen Bee cocoon join an MMA gym and spar with hungry and upcoming girls who would push her to her limit. Her conditioning and prep for that fight was laughable. Who is her striking coach? He should be shot for turning her or perhaps leaving her to be a one-trick pony Hehehehe.... Ronda Drowsy's ...(sorry Rousey) game has been deciphered. She is a one trick pony, her game plan has always been bum rush, eat some punches, grapple, judo hip throw to the ground and finish win an arm bar submission. She dominated women's MMA because the division was light, still forming and also because she was stronger than most of the ladies. It was obvious that when stronger girls with solid background in the striking department with history in kick boxing, boxing and Muay Thai came into the division that she will be taken to the cleaners. Also she had a fraudulent ego feeding coach who has a question all track record in MMA. I would like to see her join a proper MMA team like Jackson Winks, ATT or Tristar. |
