Kagawa10: None! One plays for a possession team, albeit a boring one while the other plays for a counter attacking team. Hahahahaa..... Bros you are a joker! Answer the bleeping question or keep quiet sir. First you need to understand that there are generally two types of centre backs... the ball playing/composed CBs and the rugged, last ditch tackling, pacy and brute force styled center back. The aforementioned type of centre backs are good at reading the game, passing out of defence etc. Examples are Beckenbauer and Rio. Examples of the other types of defenders are Vidic, Carvalho and Pepe. Smalling has a shade of both styles, his ball playing attributes was the reason why he could play a full back and his physical attributes do him well in the later group. I am a huge fan of Blind and an advocate of intelligent players but as a defender this season Smalling has been extremely good and better than Blind. As someone mentioned earlier, Blind is primarily a defensive midfielder that can play as a full back and also as a CB, therefore his ball playing skills and composure on the ball coupled with his Dutch roots are imminent. |

fentoluwa2: A disadvantage of a high end device is this: Broken screen... I tried getting the pouch for my lenovo k3 note (#60,000) , I was unable to. Searched thru stores like jumia n Konga but no luck until the screen broke *sobs* wasted funds! Now to replace same screen will cost about $30.. All those talking about "Corning gorilla screen" as if it doesn't break. I pity you Lenovo K3 note was my worst investment on a phone (got mine for 49K I think) after 4 months the useless phone began to auto restart, I couldn't do shiit with it. I told myself from that point on that since I am an android person it is Samsung galaxy S series phone onward for me. I have been using a Samsung Galaxy S6 since last year and the experience have been sweeeet! The benefits include; - smooth running with no history of lagging eve when I play high end games and run multiple apps simultaneously. - frequent updates - high picture quality with both cameras - light weight with a sleek design ( Samsung copied iPhone ) - fast charging, from zero to 100 in 40 mins - high quality video calls and recording (I do a lot of mock ups of sales videos) |

franciskaine: compare their diversity to that of Nigeria. The Netherlands has 78% Dutch, 2.3% Turks,. 5.9% Eu, 2.2% Moroccans etc, unlike most modern divers societies with almost equal polarisation. Anyways, thanks for making me correct my formal stance but you sounded childish if that's how you correct people. Naah.... You must have misinterpreted my post. franciskaine: Nigerians will prefer this prison to the sufferings they are facing here. Though this feet is commendable, but the larger a society the more complex its problems and challenges. A monocultural society with a population less the size of LAGOS should neva be compared to the peculiarities of multi cultural, multi religious and ethnically divided society like Nigeria. I pray one day we would get where they are. # God bless Nigeria # God bless PMB You call The Netherlands monocultural? You know nothing franciskaine |

akinsbola452000: The truth is even when UAF rejects your transcript, the possibility of getting admission is very high. As high as 95%. I have 2 guys in my class, UAF rejects their transcript saying it did not meet the country specific requirement for sending transcript. The guys totally gave up about the admission process, but were later surprised to get admission letter from the school. From what i know whether valid or not, UAF will still send all documents to the school in question. The decision as to who to accept or reject solely lies with the university and not UAF. So if your transcript got rejected, keep hope alive! My oga na true you yarn but LUT actually rejected my application because does yeye UAF people didn't accept my transcript. Ehen. ..people Wey don get admission make una come share d good news o |

jeffoe: i got a surprising mail from university of helsinki stating the reason why my application was rejected, and strangely nothing was said about the 2 set of transcript rejected by uaf, and that i was disqualified solely based on the fact that i didn't meet the language requirement though they gave me an option to appeal i don't know if it would be necessary to make the appeal note: their Minimum requirement: overall score 62, with a minimum score of 54 in each communicative skills section listening, reading, speaking and writing my overall score was 63 i only did not meet the minimum score for the speaking part. suggestion from the house would be appreciated You just stated the reason... you didn't meet the minimum score for speaking.... I think you should have done IELTS, it is difficult to score above 50 in PTE speaking subsection... I had an overall score of 73 but I could only manage 47 I speaking when I took the PTE test. I don't think there is anything you can do. Hope u applied to other schools. |

raumdeuter: I am not sure you watched Rio Ferdinand as much as I did. I dont live on fables, I watched him from the beginning of his career to the end and he was mediocre at everything
ball distribution, aerial ability, reading of game everything he was mediocre. The only thing he benefitted from was the English hype
Between 2002 and 2010
Nesta, Maldini Canavaro, Carvalho, Vidic, Puyol, Ayala, Thuram etc were all better than Rio as defenders. Rio wasnt good at anything in defence. I can tell you that minus the hype he is no better than his brother Anton I didn't see much of Rio at Westham but I followed him closely from Leeds to United and he was excellent! Bros between 2002 to 2010 Maldini, Thuram and Nesta were in the twilight of their careers. He was on par with the likes of Vidic, Puyol and Carvalho. E b like say na gragra defenders you like.... |

Caveatemptor: Hmmm. I hope this works out in the end. I know Jose will win titles where ever he goes right now. But he will soon get bored and start throwing his toys out of the pram. I hope this pre contract states that his assistant must be a United man through amd through who will understudy him and hopefully take overif things go awry. Ryan Giggs has been an under study to Van Gaal. I think he should bid his time and under study Jose and getmore experience incase things don't work out. Ryan Giggs should be his own man and cut his teeth at another football club. He should try his hands on one of the top teams in the Championship (Derby, Brighton, Hull, Burnley etc.) or go abroad like GNev. I don't appreciate that he wants to get the United job without leading a team as the head coach. Pep led Barca B for sometime before he was promoted. |

raumdeuter: At no point in ferdinand career was he a good defender. he has always been below average
I followed his career from leeds and to Man utd. He was always noted for hiding behind more competent partners just like John Terry
Rio became the beautiful bride of Yakubu Aiyegbeni before Vidic came to bail him out
Rio was not good at anything
The problem England had that the players that were hyped at the club level Rio and Terry had non English players who were actually the ones doing the work(Vidic and Carvalho) but the English players(Rio and Terry) were taking the glory I expect better from you really.... Playing as a CB is not about last ditch tackles, rolling on the floor or spotting a bruised lip and dirty shorts. Ferdinand's strong points includes his technical abilities, good ball distribution, reading of the game and pace when he was a young man. If a CB is good at reading the game there is no need for Vidic or Carvalho styled last ditch tackle. Take nothing away from from Vidic and Carvalho they were excellent defenders but Rio was a complete package with excellent aerial ability, topnotch ball distribution and superb reading of games and organising of the defence. |

raumdeuter: For me they are all overhyped. The only world class guy was Paul Scholes others are just average to good
Terry in particular is below average just like Rio Ferdinand. Cole and Lampard were good at their peak. Ferdinand below average? Bros are you drunk? At his prime and before the niggling injuries he was an excellent reader of the game, good passer of the ball, excellent aerial ability and chief organizer. Between 2002 to 2010 how many CBs were better than Rio? |

Ahumareze: so is it d applicant's fault they are under staffed? or the school for using a courier service? I tink d process needs to be refined, esp since they receive lots of applications. People spend a lot of money to get these applications sent to them only to be disqualified for reasons that a simple check can rectify. Hopefully it will get better. Sista... I have no affiliation to UAF, as I mentioned they jeopardised one of my applications last year. If you can't stand UAF wahala ensure you apply to schools that do not make use of their services such as TUT and Aalto. |
Travel › Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 3:20pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
Ahumareze: When you say the courier service messed up, not sure abt that. I mean as far as I know most wrap parcels in their own envelopes either brown or white. Am not sure any school has their own personal courier service so I think the least UAF can do is look inside the envelope and check if it is tampered with unless they think most ppl have their school stamps and seals. They don't have the resources for carrying out investigation. They do the review of transcripts mechanically in accordance to the laid down rules. I had the same issue last year and it messed up one of my application. |

JayKayMaybachz: Consistent wins and we are headed to top 4 I pray o...........we all know that stupid LVG will bring back Fellaini and destroy the team again. I was impressed by Rashford, Carrick, Smalling, Blind and Lingard. Martial was super wasteful although his marauding runs came in handy. We need Rooney back in the team though, having four very fast forwards will improve our forward play (Rooney for Mata). I feel really bad for Januzaj, going on loan and losing his spot to Lingard. He has also regressed badly. Hopefully Mr. Philosuffering will get his shit together and deliver a top four finish. There is a huge probability that he will see out his contract if he gets the UCL qualification spot. We should splash some good cash on Auba, Kante and maybe Mahrez and the team can do wonders. What's with the excessive side-ways play against a weakened City CB pairing? |
