angela98: Na candle or osupa fit cause am...because no constant electricity. Naija uni sha! Student study under harsh condition. Na wah! But funny enough though, many naija graduates are high achievers. You concluded without carrying out any meaningful investigation that there is no constant electricity. OAU campus was the first place i experienced uninterrupted power supply for over a week, that may not be the case now though. Great Ife for Learning and Culture |

dickt: I have noticed on uncountable occasions that when a girl's checking me out, after looking at my face, their eyes dart straight to my feet. They don't even seem to check out my crotch on the way down. Now ladies, could u pls tell me why the feet come next after the face? One more thing, when do you check out the crmotch? Just curious. There is a hypothesis that states that the size/length of a man's phallus can be estimated from the size of his foot. She might be admiring or checking out your footwear ![]() |
Horayce: Pretty useless advice in an economy that cannot do basic things like, you know: generate 247 power, industrialize, conquer hunger&agriculture, foster a spirit of self reliance and enterprise in its citizens etc. Jobs will be aplenty if/when the basics are addressed, no need to write long sermons sis.My friend close ya mouth!!!! The basics have been adressed in Europe and North America for decades and they still have problem of unemployment. If the government cannot help you, work smartly and help urself |
UnknownT: Ur very correct bro! For d aptitude test drop out, i am one of them. I havent passed any computer based test i have written, d two i have managed to pass were written with pencil or pen. For d interview drop out, i am also one. For one, i got pass d aptitude test, d 1st interview(after many blunders), then i was dropped after d 2nd interview. How did it happen? It was scheduled on a sunday afternoon, i didnt eat b4 going cos i thought it will be done early, but it got to my turn around to 11pm, i was hungry, famished etc, n i believe that was what made me to be dropped cos i performed extremely poor cos of hunger. For d 2nd one, after d aptitude test, they sent us a material to download n prepare for d interview, d period i downloaded mine, i fell sick! I couldnt study anything, even with d lil i tried reading n convalescing, i embarked on d trip 4rm ph to lagos. Long story cut short, it got to my turn, d format d chinese guys put d question threw me off balance(i got to find out in d course of d interview that i never knew d title of d material), since then its being computer based tests n i have not being succeeding. But i am optimistic dis 2014. Forgive my long story, just had to pour my heart out. Thanks. #UnknownTBro, I feel ur pain and I'm very sure that you can master the art of passing aptitude tests and interviews. Firstly before I give some tips I'm going to state factors I think are important in passing aptitude tests 1. Raw intelligence 2. Speed 3. Commitment to the course. Although raw intellingence is in-built, speed and the other factor can be replaced by practice and hardwork. I hope these tips will be very useful. 1. Be prepared Do not wait for test invitation before u pick up materials. Make Gmat, SHL and co ur companion. Practice questions to improve speed, Learn skills and ways of tackling questions. 2. Information is vital Although some companies do send sample or state the type of test to be administered others do not, therefore it's important to get info from friends and forums like nairaland, naijahotjobs etc. 3. Eat very well before attending test, buy some snacks if u feel hungry before d test, compose yourself, attack the questions you are familiar with first. Time management is vital, do not waste unecessary time on a question that is proving dificult! 'FREE IT' you can always come back to it. Attend test invitation with a positive mindset it helps a lot. 4. Pray and Fast if you are a believer. |

kennygee: It's their loss. How many of those who have the 2.1 can actually defend it? Most of them just buy results or pay their way to school, it's still a "garbage in garbage out" thing.Hehehe... U can defend ur PASS, right? I get irritated when I see clueless comments like yours. If they buy result in the university you graduated from, it's not done everywhere!! Grow some brain cells! |

Airforce1: Does dis guy sends money back home for his parents upkeep? Before you type rubbish from your empty skull do a little research, he was born in the US, his family moved from Austria to the US in the 70's so obviously his dad is a professional/learned. I guess u don't have an elderly man in your family because as humans get older they tend to look frail. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wale_(rapper) |

pembisco: park well jor! Dts if u evn got a car. Those dt graduated in d 60s nd 70s got thr B.sc in jst 3 years, by then education ws sponsod by gvnmnt. My dad who is curently a high court judge got his B.sc in law in 3 yrs. Nw B.sc in law is 5 years. Mst courses wr nt introduced then. So wat ar u saying? Dnt jst condem doz wit 3rd clas cos ther ar many reasns to dt nd besides, nt ol brains ar equal. NT OL LECTURERS dt graduated in 70s ar 1st clas plsOga there is nothing like BSc. in Law it's called L.L.B. Plus I'm sure ur dad didn't enter d university with O'Levels cert. Back then university admission was gotten with A'Levels, HSCE or NCE (they equivalent to the 1st year in the university). |
tabisegroup: ... I wil never allow exam results decide ma fate in dis life..#TeamBillGate#.I think it's high time people understand the difference between graduating with a poor grade and droping out of school to pursue a dream. Gates dropped out of school to focus and channel his energy into his Microsoft. Project/business. Bill Gates was in an Ivy Legue College and hid grades were very good. I get pissed off whenever I get to see people comparing Bill Gates to people that finished with poor grades. From my time in school and stories from people that graduated with third class, I made a hypothesis that people graduate with a third class because of the following 1. No interest in course of study 2. Getting carried away with the social aspect of the university. 3. Lack of required Competency 4. Victimisation (mostly with ladies). I believe that once one can truthful sit down and do an unbias assessment on the reason why they graduated with poor grades it goes a long way in building self confidence and knowing the right step to take. For those saying that grades should not be a criteria in recruitment processes should know that grades represents ability to work hard, follow rules/guidelines etc. Also I will like to correct the notion that companies abroad do not favor graduates with good grades that they believe in potentials and other things. It's a very big falacy, Top Consulting Firms (the MBB) do not only select the guys with the best grades they even have prefrence for guys that graduated from Ivy League schools and have done some important internship. Finally grades do not decide one's future, understanding areas of limitation, interests, and also getting some formal or informal training can go a long way in setting peeps that graduated with bad grades on a bright path. Self pity won't do the magic, We all can't work in the corporate world, get up and ACT NOW!!!! Bodmania. |

Hmmmm... Accenture! Accenture!! Accenture!!! their recruitment process is synonymous to the movement of a snail .I had my first test in May 2011 First interview ( with HR) in April 2013..... I chose Technology Consulting, figured out that MC might be overcrowded ![]() Second interview (group dynsmics - case study) is to hold on 15 August 2013 From my interaction with the HR personnel she made mention that they recruit on project basis plus dey have a small work force in Nigeria. |
collynzo2: Is this ^^^ how graduates of OAU write?Learn how to read and understand properly, he/she stated clearly that he/she is not a product of GREAT IFE. If you doubt the quality of OAU graduates carry out a research on the number of OAU graduates that are leaders of different industries. Secondly you will be amazed with the number of OAU graduates working with top firms such as Mobil, Shell, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, Banks,SLB, IBs etc. Also most OAU graduates are proactive, smart, well informed, good speakers, rugged and tough. Lastly OAU has the best campus in Nigeria with respect to architecture, buildings, roads, power supply, campus life, security, zero-cult activities etc. For JJCs and Learners Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (formerly University of Ife) is located at Ife (45km from Ibadan) in Osun state, Nigeria. |

Congratz....... Welcome to d big 4. Let me advise u from my 8 months experience with one of d big 4 accounting firms 1. It's a great place to be, u are going to meet smart, brilliant, bossy, annoying and wonderful peeps. You are going to learn a lot willingly or forcefully .2. You should have a plan! Know what you want... U can plan to be a Partner or get the audit experience and move to the industry. ... Wrt to the 2 offers, from interactions with friends @ both places PwC would b my choice because; 1. They pay more (yes, I like money) 2. They have a better work-life balance 3. They have d biggest market in naija (clients) Also d unit u would like to work matters too, for KPMG u are aware of that from the interview stages but @ PwC u are placed in a unit after training. Further more if u're not qualified @ KPMG u can only sit for ICAN while @ PwC u have d liberty of sitting for either ICAN or ACCA. I hope u come up with the best decision. Bodmania!! |
