First interview ( with HR) in April 2013..... I chose Technology Consulting, figured out that MC might be overcrowded

Second interview (group dynsmics - case study) is to hold on 15 August 2013

From my interaction with the HR personnel she made mention that they recruit on project basis plus dey have a small work force in Nigeria.

Let me advise u from my 8 months experience with one of d big 4 accounting firms
1. It's a great place to be, u are going to meet smart, brilliant, bossy, annoying and wonderful peeps. You are going to learn a lot willingly or forcefully .

2. You should have a plan! Know what you want... U can plan to be a Partner or get the audit experience and move to the industry.

... Wrt to the 2 offers, from interactions with friends @ both places PwC would b my choice because;

1. They pay more (yes, I like money)
2. They have a better work-life balance
3. They have d biggest market in naija (clients)

Also d unit u would like to work matters too, for KPMG u are aware of that from the interview stages but @ PwC u are placed in a unit after training.

Further more if u're not qualified @ KPMG u can only sit for ICAN while @ PwC u have d liberty of sitting for either ICAN or ACCA.

I hope u come up with the best decision.

Income Tax (PAYE)
Provided it's calculated in accordance with the most recent PITA (PITA 2012)
1. First the Taxable income is calculated by deducting pension and consolidated relief and allowances (CRA) from the gross pay.
CRA = higher of N200,000 or 1% of gross income plus 20% of gross income.

2. The Tax income is claculated using the bands below
Band 1 first N300,000 taxed @ 7%

Not because i passed, nor because i failed- probably, Its because i sense that something went wrong somewhere-maybe some deliberate failure of students to cope wit the so called 520,000 shit. Becos if about 8-900,000 passed well, then there would be intense protest against the ministry of education if their admission is not secured. I even know of a guy that gets about 309 every time we take the practice exams under the same conditions as jamb, but you know what? This guy score 200 in jamb, he's in plateau even- a northern state. Another guy with almost the same nature score 162. There are many to mention. But can the results be remarked? I would say that all these arose from the poor standard of education in Nigeria. So, this year's jamb does not accurately depict the real intellectual of many of us. Besides, its not necessarily only those that score 3** in jamb that are the most creative. There are also others out there who score 1** or 2** but are practically excellent. Until Nigeria realises this, this country will probably continue like this.

He has been loyal with Everton and also bringing up d likes of Seamus, Anichebe and co from d academy.
Moyes is good technically and can deliver with more funds, better training facilities and support from the players and coaching staffs (d ones that wud keep their jobs). The major drawback is his inexperience in the Champions League......... But remember PEP Guardiola was a newbie when he took over at Barca, d rest is history

Kudos should be given to Gov. Fashola and LSG, but the bridge is not a 'full suspension bridge'. A suspension bridge should have at least 2 cable towers and cables running through the whole length of the bridge to support its weight. Also a suspension bridge should not have supports under the span of the bridge (apart from those supporting the towers).

Bro, i'm also a stammerer and i would like to inform you that it does not limit your chances in any way. I currently work with one of the big 4 and had interviews with three of them. I think it improves your chances because the interviewer might sometimes interprete a bolt of anxiety/tension as your regular stammering. Look on the bright side bro.. sound smart and convincing, speak gently, research about the firm and lastly dont act as if the interview is our last resort(dont act like a spoilt brat o...lols).
