That's why I will not fault the other Nigerian lady for running for team GB

CareerRe: Tax And Pensions by olabode89(m): 6:34pm On Jun 01, 2013
Hmmmmmm......

For pension it's 7.5% of ur basic emoluments(basic salary + housing allowance + transport allowance).

Income Tax (PAYE)
Provided it's calculated in accordance with the most recent PITA (PITA 2012)
1. First the Taxable income is calculated by deducting pension and consolidated relief and allowances (CRA) from the gross pay.
CRA = higher of N200,000 or 1% of gross income plus 20% of gross income.

2. The Tax income is claculated using the bands below
Band 1 first N300,000 taxed @ 7%
Band 2 next N300,000 taxed @ 11%
Band 3 next N500,000 taxed @ 15%
BAnd 4 next N500,000 taxed @ 19%
Band 5 next N1,600,000 taxed @ 21%
Band 6 above N3,200,000 taxed @ 24%

PS-from ur question ur pension and tax will increase if ur gross pay is increased.

LiteratureRe: Cross River And Ssce Fraud: My Nysc Experience by olabode89(m): 9:10am On May 18, 2013
tonibassey: Oga Bankole, I hope you read this reply. I have carefully followed your thread and its a pity your NYSC experience in Cross River State had to be a pungent one. As an indigen of this amiable State, Let me try to correct some impressions here: Firstly, I'm going to forward the name of that school to His Excellency the Governor on Monday, I think they deserve a visit from our State Commissioner for Education. Since the inception of Senator Liyel Imoke's tenure as Governor, the Secondary School system has seen immense reformation-and o! We do not have money in CRS so we cannot fund free education. Secondary schools across the 3 Senatorial districts have been renovated and their staff and teachers duely trained, retrained and sacked where necessary. The school at Ekirom will surely witness change soon and I assure you her principal and corrupt staff will be brought to book. We've had instances where the Commissioner for education drives to schools in rural areas and is not even recognized for his person by staff and so He gets the required information and acts accordingly. Examination malpractise is seriously frowned at by the Cross River State government. This government does not believing in commissioning so many school projects, stocking them with laboratory apparatuses and leaving them to rot at the hands of incapable teachers, but seeks to groom schools properly in a quota system, which involves testing, training and retraining of secondary school teachers-and yes, secondary school teachers do write exams set by the ministry. To further clear your doubt, you could inquire about the impact of this administration on the education system. Giving you the Governor's mailbox number here would not be necessary-education is that important to him, the first time I got it was while he was addressing secondary school students at a Children's day forum a couple of years back. Your complaint will be reported to the appropriate authorities, and we don't "eat people" here in Cross River State. Hope you have a rather fulfilling visit when next you traverse the land of this beautiful place. Long Live Cross River State!
See ur mouth like 'we don't have money' an oil producing state for that matter! If SW states like Ondo and Oyo states can provide free education I don't understand why Cross river state cannot do the same....smh

Ajengogo: I can never join issues with ur kinds, because what I said in that post is my personal opinion devoid of any attack on anybody. It is by next season that u guys will start seeing what I am saying, then we will know who really deserves all the names u r calling now.
Lol........ Ur personal opinion is misleading!
U concluded irrationally that no arrangement was made concerning Fergie's retirement which is wrong!
Running helter skelter for another manager? Wrong

The Snr exec and directors @ man united have been preparing for this for more than a decade!

So get ur facts right b4 u mislead people....
EducationRe: Would You Support The Remarking Of Utme Exam? by olabode89(m): 8:42pm On May 08, 2013
hod898: Baba, i would support o. Not because i passed, nor because i failed- probably, Its because i sense that something went wrong somewhere-maybe some deliberate failure of students to cope wit the so called 520,000 shit. Becos if about 8-900,000 passed well, then there would be intense protest against the ministry of education if their admission is not secured. I even know of a guy that gets about 309 every time we take the practice exams under the same conditions as jamb, but you know what? This guy score 200 in jamb, he's in plateau even- a northern state. Another guy with almost the same nature score 162. There are many to mention. But can the results be remarked? I would say that all these arose from the poor standard of education in Nigeria. So, this year's jamb does not accurately depict the real intellectual of many of us. Besides, its not necessarily only those that score 3** in jamb that are the most creative. There are also others out there who score 1** or 2** but are practically excellent. Until Nigeria realises this, this country will probably continue like this.
Damn!!!!

No past tense for ya dictionary?
How do u wanna pass JAMB when ur english is super poor?

N.B.... reading for hours does not guarantee
success.

Solve past questions, improve ur speed and go into the exam hall with a clear head and sharp mind and u will blast JAMB.

Ajengogo: It is now that United owners and fans will know the mess SAF has dragged the club into. How can one be in charge of a club for 26 good years without making any concrete arrangement for at least a successor or series of successors. And the owners played along with this dangerous and selfish arrangement of SAF all these years. Now the club is running helter skelter for a manager while it's shares on NY stock exchange is being negatively affected. To worsen the whole situation, it is this same man that must anoint whoever is coming to succeed him! Why!
Shut d fucck up dude!

Fergie should have retired in 2002 but decided to continue because d club was not in d best shape and he wanted @ least one more Champ League triumph (which he won in 2008 losing 2 other finals to barcelona FC).
To all those clamouring for Jose Mourinho... Snr Executives and Directors @ Man United do not want him due to his questionable loyalty, media frenzy and issues with his players (as we have seen with Real Madrid)
Secondly David Moyes is a good Coach (not a great one yet since he is yet to win any title) but he has been competitive with an Everton team with a transfer budget of around 10-15M pounds for more than 8yrs finishing 4th once and in the top 7 on more than 5 occasions. He has been loyal with Everton and also bringing up d likes of Seamus, Anichebe and co from d academy.
Moyes is good technically and can deliver with more funds, better training facilities and support from the players and coaching staffs (d ones that wud keep their jobs). The major drawback is his inexperience in the Champions League......... But remember PEP Guardiola was a newbie when he took over at Barca, d rest is history

Shut up ur mouth my friend!!! Chidi Odiah was a good footballer.... He played for CSKA MOSCOW a top club in the Russian League for more thw 5yrs and he was a solid defender for club and country. If this news is true he must have made some bad investments or poor financial management.

PoliticsRe: Governor Fashola Builds First Suspension Bridge In Nigeria by olabode89(m): 1:32pm On Apr 30, 2013
Kudos should be given to Gov. Fashola and LSG, but the bridge is not a 'full suspension bridge'. A suspension bridge should have at least 2 cable towers and cables running through the whole length of the bridge to support its weight. Also a suspension bridge should not have supports under the span of the bridge (apart from those supporting the towers).

Further more How can a 1.5km(approx) bridge cost 29Billion naira na wa o..... 19Million per metre....

CareerRe: What Is The Fate Of A Mild Stammerer At Job Interviews by olabode89(m): 3:21pm On Mar 19, 2013
Bro, i'm also a stammerer and i would like to inform you that it does not limit your chances in any way. I currently work with one of the big 4 and had interviews with three of them. I think it improves your chances because the interviewer might sometimes interprete a bolt of anxiety/tension as your regular stammering. Look on the bright side bro.. sound smart and convincing, speak gently, research about the firm and lastly dont act as if the interview is our last resort(dont act like a spoilt brat o...lols).
