What's up with people calling the company evil? They are are business, aiming for profit. While the profit game must be in favour of the company, potential customers have the choice to do business with them or not. You have the decision to make; no one is forcing you to deal with Renmoney. You either swerve or party with them. It's your world. And to those taking loan without understanding the terms, implications and advantages, you had no business taking the loan in the first place. If you don't understand terms on any business deal, you better find someone to interpret them or just stay on your lane; else you go buy market! Teddy78: This chorus of "evil" is born of a lack of seeing the whole picture guys.
1. Do you know the cost of the money they lend? 2. They bear the risk 100% if you default, as there's no collateral/security 3. There are no cheap loans in Nigeria, how much do their competition charge? 4. How many places are there in Nigeria today where you walk in and walk out within a day and get as much as 4M loan with no security!??
I know the rates are high, but they're not evil, if cost of money reduces they'll reduce their rates too. That company has saved lives, and they're one of the few that actually pay well in that industry, let's not bash blindly and throw the baby along with the bath water away guys, please.
P.S I'm not a staff o, at least not for years Lol... Save lives with 50% interest? And what do you think you can do with a loan of 50% interest in Nigeria and won't kill you. Funnily enough, many people will take the loan to buy liabilities, that will even depreciate in value over time. Everyone to their own sha. |

If someone else is carrying it how will he come back into the Senate in the first place? An eggplant won. Saraki planted an eggplant that will now out for saraki if he loses the Presidential primary. He will use INEC law for this, which states that a primary winner can opt out at anytime provided it's not during the election. |

chigoizie7: U actually believed that buhari got 14 million votes on primaries ? a single state election couldn't be counted in just a day, yet they are not even up to 14million. How many votes did buhari get in 2015? national election for that matter? if they can easily lie on party primaries which only him contested then , APC AND BUHARI are truly liars and can't be trusted with anything in this nation. everyone didn't vote in that primary, yet he got 14 million. even that arena which can't contain more than a million person still recorded 14 million, how did they vote and how was it counted? all in less than 12hrs?.
if you, believe this 14million of a thing, then u can AS well believe that a snake can birth a goat .
pick paper and pen, and write 123 ,start from 1 to 1million and see how long it will take u to do so, talk more of 14 million. Ehisnaruto: it is a delight to know that there are still Nigerians who actually make good use of their brain. God bless you Chigozie7 and a very happy sunday to you. The APC presidential primary election was conducted in all states, before the APC convention. |

That's terrible parenting That's terrible parenting... Says you. I hope to help my kids build their foundation as early as possible. The brain power is at the highest during tender ages (2-7). If you are lucky to identify the interest of kids in that age bracket, do all you can to help them nuture it immediately. I know and I've read about many guru programmers, writers, footballers, etc who started learning at tender ages. I know a guy in the USA who retired from trading at the age of 40; he started trading at the age of 14. I read about a 15 year old programmer at Google who earn crazy salary; his programmer father started teaching him how to program at the age 5. Don't underestimate the ability little kids possess. If your kid start showing interest in swimming, please do all you can to help them learn immediately. Most of the professional footballers didn't just wake up at the age of 15 to start playing. They've been playing all their life. The father in the story did well by harnessing the interest of the little boy. I will never kill the genius of my kids God's willing. Though learning can start at any age, it's best at a tender age. Many of us would have move on faster in life if we had the inspiration to start what we are doing now at an earlier age. |

theoldpretender: I honestly give up. Some of you guys have no understanding of how economics works at all.
1.We import most of the fuel we use in Nigeria
2.The landing cost of imported fuel is above N170 per liter.
3.NNPC pays a ''subsidy'' to keep the fuel price at N145.
4.That is why most marketers cannot import fuel, why NNPC is the SOLE IMPORTER of fuel..and why NNPC partly cannot declare its assets.
5.And that is why we keep on having fuel scarcity...because most marketers cannot make a profit at N145 per liter.
6.We need oil to be at $140 per liter to break even. Right now...we don't have enough to do so because oil has been below $75 since 2015!
7.GEJ tried to increase fuel to N140 from N65. You Nigerians protested...so we beat it down to N97...and then to N87 and that is partly why GEJ could not save forex...because we were wasting it on fuel. Meanwhile....scarcity was happening...and by 2013...fuel was being sold above the market price of N97 excpet in Lagos and Abuja...because most marketers could not survivie on profits as low as N2 per liter.
8. Please stop misinforming people. Venezuela is where it is because they import all they need and because they overspend all their money on subsides they cannot sustain, and because their govern, ment is imcompetent. Not because America...who buys most of their oil and pays for it.
9. And you APC and PDP guys better get our country off oil! Baba, you dey misyarn jawe. If the standard of living is good, no one will complain if oil is #300 per litre. So because Venezuela is in deep poo, the masses should die of hunger. Tackle the government to improve the economy. Even with the fuel price, companies still layoff staff, unemployment is on the rise. The dude you quoted is right, it's about standard of living. And yes, a majority of Nigerians can't afford a $ per day, IMF data support that fact. |
Travel › Re: Top 10 Countries With Cheapest Fuel In The World- Nigeria Is One Of The Cheapest by oladayo63(m): 7:34pm On Sep 09, 2018 |
It's not about the dollar value, fams. It's about the standard of living in the country.
Venezuela position on the list means nothing to Venezuelans. In a socio-economic perspective, fuel is more cheaper in Nigeria than Venezuela.
In another sense, fuel is way cheaper in Kuwait than in Nigeria because they have a better standard of living.
How will it sounds if a cup of coffee is sold for $5 (#1700) in Nigeria? Considering that Nigeria minimum wage is about $50/m, 99% of Nigerians can't afford it while $5 is peanut to Americans.
Standard of living! It's all about standard of living. |

I don't think it was the will of the boy to take his own life. It isn't logical commiting suicide because you lost a game, a cruel one by chainsaw for that matter.
I think he must have been exposed to some program that hypnotized him, made him delusional. According to the report, the police suspected a so-called "death group." They know what they are saying.
If you watched the series Fringe, you should understand what might have happened to the boy. Playing the wrong game can program you to do unimaginable things, now you know! |

Abjay97: Adding to that list, Germany pays its citizens an equivalent of 90k naira per month till 18 years..
Also, they choose careers/courses for their citizens according to your performance in school.. E.g of you are very good in maths.. Tthe government sponsors you for a math related course like Engineering...
Folks, Nigeria is down... Hey, how much can 90k afford in Germany? Some people must have been thinking "graduates hardly get paid up to 90k here in 9ja" Let me add to it: that 90k you were referring to can't pay the school fee of a non-german kindergarten per month The standard of living in Germany and Nigeria are too different; you can't compare it. But Germany government giving child support is highly commendable! |

I can't blame the doctors. I only blame the country that has no system, talk less of a working one. I'm pretty sure the man won't have died if this happened in the United States.
This nation state calls for huge concern. I don't even know how to describe Nigeria again, I ran out of adjectives. An accident and dying victim got a second shot at life, three times at three different hospitals, and "the system" couldn't help him utilize it.
Visualize this: the man getting to after life and his Maker showing a large display of how he got there. I can imagine the Maker telling him, "I didn't kill you neither were you destined to leave earth that way. Your nation killed you. Your nation failed you!"
Amongst many problems: Health issurance = zero Health facilities = zero Emergency system = zero Accountability = zero.
Nothing facinates a "human" about this nation.
As I dey see am so, a time is coming when money and riches will fail everyone, so far you are in this system. Little wonder the rich move abroad to get the goodies of a working system. Little wonder they birth their children and grandchildren in "Amelika".
Money failed the poor man. If only money could save life, he should be alive today.
The loophole here is too much and ANYONE could get catch up in it.
Op, I'm happy you chose to be one of the good eggs we have here. I'm proud of you. I won't pray for you, that won't be necessary. I believe every deed has its reward and you will surely get yours. Thank you, sir! |
