I was opportune to have attended an interview where I was asked on how to calculate PAYE ,my response I gave to them was the new amended PITA 2011, Where it says 7%,11%,15%,19%,21%,25% on 300,000, 300,000,500,000,500,000,1,600 000 and balance on 25% and I noticed the interviewer was laughing. My question to the house is that , what is the normal way of calculating PAYE?

PREPARATION + OPPORTUNITY= SUCCESS WHAT IS OPPORTUNITY? An opportunity is described as a chance for advancement, progress or profit. It also means a favorable circumstance or occasion. WHAT IS DECISION? Decision means a choice or judgment. WHAT IS EDUCATION? Education is the most effective tool in changing the minds and transforming the character of children and youth. It is also an institutional framework that leads to social and economic benefit which is as a result of self development or improvement & for societal liberty. Dig your well before you are thirsty. DIFFERENT CLASSES OF LEARNERS There are four categories of pupils and we should know them • THE NEVER –BE • THE COULD –BE • THE SHOULD –BE • THE MUST-BE  THE NEVER-BE : These are the kind of people you may advise to withdraw possibly to go and learn other jobs. This is the making of different choice or judgment 5 STEPS TO BETTER DECISION • Identify your goal: people who aren't self-reflective are going to end up making bad decisions because they don't really know what they want in the first place. Don't make a decision based on wrong problem. • Eliminate choices by setting standards: if you are trying to buy a digital camera, list the features you will actually use any camera that has them therefore good for you. • Don, t worry about finding the best: how good about your decision is usually more important than how they are objectively measured. • Try not to rush: people tend to make poorer choices when they are in a bad mood or under a lot of stress. When facing a complex decision, use your conscious brain to gather the information you need and then take a break. • Be aware of biases: be ready to face critics and challenges when striving for a better decision. Don't relent amidst their ridiculous advices. STRATEGIES FOR MAKING DECISION. 1. ANALYSE OUTCOMES: working through a big decision can give you a kind of tunnel vision, where we get so focused on the immediate consequences of the decision at hand, we don't think about the eventual outcomes we expect or desire. 2. Our future as human or youth is like a fence that nobody knows how beautiful and blossom it has been labeled. As human, we choose what we feel is best for us, but only God substantiate and sealed it. When making a choice, make God the first but not the last resort. He is the only one that gives, protect and vindicate our passion and mission for choice making. When making a choice, it pays to take some time to consider the outcome you expect. Consider each option and ask the following questions: What is the probable outcome of your choice? What outcomes are highly unlikely? What are the likely outcomes of not choosing this one? What would be the outcome of doing the exact opposite? Our life may not be going the way you and I planned it. But the most important thing is that, it is going exactly the way God planned it for us. We should bear in mind that our relationship with God and people around us should take precedents. This is because, we cannot succeed based on our own ideas alone but we can use other people's idea to succeed but remember, ‘knowledge governs ignorance, as no man can claim a monopoly of it since no man is an island unto himself. In retrospect for choice optimism, I strongly assert and affirm that education is a companion which no misfortune can depress, no crime can destroy, no enemy can alienate, no despotism can enslave.
