you can ignore my post. I clearly was speaking for myself not anyone else. As much as i want anyone that wants Canada to come , reality is many Nigerians cant meet the requirements as its not competitive . I’m not responsible for your frustrations you hear.

This is you here https://www.nairaland.com/6000158/need-advise-plscan-should-travel. We know una type
I was helping someone make enquiry shee gboo sir.

My wife is a nurse and is in UK and has been on my neck for nearly two years now to join her...infact she was still home from may ending to June ending to spend her leave in Nigeria and I just keep deceiving her that I will come because she cries every time when she sees I’m not even taking the matter seriously. So bro I have one of the easiest route abroad if I want to take it.
Why would I leave? For what exactly? I’m not rich but I’m extremely comfortable here. I’m thriving in my profession and I know the sky is my limit...and my profession only sells in Nigeria,Nigeria is where the market of my profession is unless I want to change career.
Why should I leave all these to uncertainty just because majority of the population has been configured to believe they can only make it outside Nigeria and for those who are even doing well, they have been made to believe they could have it better.
The apparent truth is that majority of migrants are struggling there especially those with no necessary skills like my wife or someone who is tech or maybe banking. For majority of the rest,it is struggle continues.
One of my colleagues we started together is in the same Canada doing Uber....
And the way you talk of Canada sef,the same Canada where a vast majority of the migrants including those even born in Canada are struggling real hard and a lot of people are even tryna run away and find means of leaving the country.
I hate the way you always paint the country like if people ain’t succeeding in it and the people succeeding in it are somehow doomed until they leave.
I’m in Osogbo, the electricity is decent, the security is good, the standard of life is good to decent, very good roads and I live in the cozy halleluyah estate.and my life is good.

Really struggling to find a disadvantage...

My friends scattered all over Norway, UK, Canada and even US (where I personally wouldn't want to relocate to) have never spoken of returning back to Naija permanently.
Because they have nothing to return to.
I know a person, presently,a colleague of mine who is actually doing pretty well.
Got to know through an agent that has connections with both of us he has put some property up for sale...to japaa. Though he haven’t told any of us,even though he has left his office.
Selling properties, giving up career that take years to build to japaa with family on a UK study Visa?
It will never make sense to me.

I used to be team come back to Nigeria after a while. Was in Nigeria for 3 weeks this year. I concluded that Nigeria is no longer for me. All these ones you listed cannot trump good quality of life, constant light, security, economic stability , poor health care etc. even the children of the elite stay abroad mostly. Atiku lives in dubai even first lady ran to dubai. Are you wiser than them
Ok we get it sir. Nigeria is an unfortunate country in which nobody can ever succeed. Infact those seem to succeeding in the country are still very unfortunate therefore they must find every means to to leave the country and join you in Canada before people like you can accept they are have now successful because there is absolutely nothing good about the country until one leaves.
I must tell you bro you’re becoming an irritant on this forum and you need to take a break from posting shits up and down.

Kwankwaso is next after Buhari in north west

If Buhari will contest again in 2023, he will still get 80% of the Nw votes

Kwankwaso will inherit those support base
Wow! Is kwankwaso that popular?
How come we don’t hear much about him?

Remember the Yorubas don't bother about religion, in public they will protest it, but innermost they will do the opposite.....

Agberos will cash out, someone told me, they are already marking out areas for attack....
My brother no body will bully anyone in Yoruba land. Sw is too liberal for that unless tinubu want to make more enemy for himself.
You underrate the level of civility and liberality in sw if you think people will attack some other people for supporting another politician. Besides tinubu for all the wrong reasons is not a well liked politician even in sw.

If your dad or paternity is not Yoruba, then you ain't Yoruba, your ties to Yoruba is either weak or non-existent at best. David Hundeyin is a fool who hates everything close to him including his father.

I won’t be surprised if he wakes up tomorrow and say he is not a black man.

I think his only true friend are the Meth people because they are the only set of morons that take every garbage he spill in and out.

For the friendship to remain intact, he is willing to do anything to feed their single digit IQ brain with more jargons per minute.

Politics / Re: David Hundeyin Is Egun By Tribe And Not Yoruba by Oladeji245(m): 5:11pm On Jul 22, 2022
chriss100:
David Hundeyin’s forefathers moved down to Badagry which was part of the Oyo Empire a couple of hundred years ago during the Dahomey wars.

I don’t want to go into much details about the history, so I’ll simply summarize briefly. Back in the days the continent of Africa was made up of different empires and not states as we have them to be today. Yoruba people made up the Oyo Empire, same way Egun people were part of the Dahomey Empire (Benin Republic)

They were so many wars and conflicts going on simultaneously between different empires across the continent. Dahomey Empire which is now known as Benin Republic was blighted with wars, slave trade etcetera. To sum it all up David Hundeyin’s ancestors moved to Badagry which was part of the Oyo empire back then from Dahomey Empire probably to escape war and strife like many did back then.

The settled in Badagry and made it home. They remained here till the British/French and other colonial masters came along to colonize Africa and eventually created the various African countries we all have to till this day.

David’s father is Egun and I also heard his mother is from Akwa Ibom. His forefathers might have moved her hundreds of years ago, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s not a Yoruba. He’s Nigerian but not Yoruba. He’s not even half Yoruba. So he has no ancestral ties to the Yoruba ethnic group. He’s Egun. They have their unique language and culture.

So basically I don’t follow him on twitter but I check his handle once in a while. I have nothing against him. He’s a Nigeria and he has the right to investigate Tinubu et al. I see he has a lot of fans who are mostly anti Tinubu. We can all agree what part of the region those people are from. He’s feeding them exactly what they need. They love him… he’s their God… for now grin (ask Reno, Deji and FFK). We know how fickle the people from that region can be. They fit change am for you immediately you start to say things they don’t want to hear. For now though, he’s singing sweet melodies into their ears, so they are friends for now grin

The problem I have are with the Yoruba’s that blindly follow David to denigrate Tinubu thinking he has a lot more credibility to criticize Tinubu because he’s Yoruba too. This folks haven’t realized that David is not Yoruba and he therefore doesn’t have the interest of the Yoruba people at heart. I only recently found out David wasn’t a Yoruba boy last week. I always thought he’s was a indigenous Yoruba boy from Badagry side of Lagos. You know ethnic Lagos indigenes can have some weird names like that, so I felt he was simply one of those with a weird name.

David is not a Yoruba boy. He’s half Egun and Akwa Ibom. My advice for the woke/soro soke/liberal Yoruba’s out there following David to bring Tinubu down show know that he isn’t one of us. His ancestors have only been here a couple of hundred years ago. He’s Nigerian but not Yoruba.

Nigeria is a land mass made up of many nations. Yoruba is one of the nations unfortunately stuck in Nigeria. I pray for oduduwa one day, but while we wait for oduduwa, we as Yoruba’s need to continue to fight to preserve our interest while in Nigeria.

Every tribe in Nigeria all fight to preserve their interest one way or the other. We see how the Fulani has a strangle hold on the military and politics. They have done that over the decades to make sure Nigeria remains one so they could continue to be benefit from the natural resources found in the south south (crude oil and gas) and also the revenue from the Ports (sea/land/air), Taxes (VAT, corporate/income, bank transaction and so much more) and other means of revenue in the south west.

My advice for the Yoruba out there cooperating with the enemies to bring down Tinubu should remember how those from that region continuously mocked and laughed at you guys when we Yorubas complained to Jonathan that we were being marginalized. The thread is here on nairaland. If you check you will surely find it. Just know that these are the same people trying to bring down Tinubu and to a larger extent the Yoruba tribe. They have made you believe Tinubu is the enemy of Yorubas. They have cajoled, tricked and deceived you to join them to help bring him down. Yes, Tinubu is corrupt but no Nigerian politician is clean. They are all corrupt. The average Nigeria is corrupt. 99.9% of us will do the same thing this politician do if we had to chance to gain political positions in Nigeria.

Please go and study history pre and post independence and you will understand the envy, greed, treachery, covetousness and hate these people have for the Yoruba tribe. Their fathers passed it on them and they will surely pass it on the their children. They cycle will surely never end. They take it personal. It’s carved into their soul and subconsciousness. They have been filled with hate for Yoruba since they were born.

Just know when it’s all said and done, If Tinubu goes down and by extension the Yoruba, kindly be ready for the marginalization you all cried about a under Jonathan. I want you to be prepared because these same people from that region you worked with to bring him down will all laugh at your stupidity and naivety.

Let’s protect our ethnic group like other tribes are currently doing. Let’s not join hands with the enemy to bring our own down. We are all tribalists in Nigeria. We consider our ethnic groups before we consider ourselves Nigerians. It’s a fact and you all know it’s a fact. We aren’t one and will never be one.

I went on David Hundeyin’s twitter timeline and went as far back as I could. Here I have 2020 screenshots of him talking about his ethnic group. I never said he claimed to be Yoruba but I just want you to see that he’s a Nigerian but not Yoruba. He has no right to speak for the Yoruba because he’s not a Yoruba boy.

I’ll also add the link to his timeline so you can read the thread. This is my first topic so I have no idea on how to put a link. I’ll simply copy and paste it here. Copy the link and paste on your browser to view the twitter thread. Thanks

Adeleke victory doesn't automatically translate to Atiku's victory. Things don't go that way. Even on Facebook and Twitter, the core supporters of BAT's presidency are Yorubas. 8 in every 10 that defends whatever is been thrown at him are Yorubas.

Go to David's handle on Twitter and take your stats. Don't sell the liberal stuff to me. I'm a Nigerian and I know how things goes in Nigeria.

LP even has more stake.
Lp has more stake in Sw?
Come back in February to this post.
Sw doesn’t give block votes.
Politics / Re: Tinubu Know What He Is Doing by Oladeji245(m): 9:17am On Jul 20, 2022
Efewestern:

PDP is already disadvantaged due to the emergence of LP. 40% is outrageous. They can't get that number in any region in Southern Nigeria. Not even the region the VP is from.

25% is fair but 40%, nah nah nah, that's wishful thinking even the 35% you attributed to the PDP is unrealistic. I washed a couple of videos during the Osun election when some voters were asked who they'd vote and they shouted BAT, I mean, they just
voted Adeleke.

Tribal politics is a big thing in Nigeria. Don't sell me that liberal story. What percentage of liberal Yorubas do you have? Who are the core defenders of BAT's presidency? Even here on NL, who are those defending him? You don't want to tell yourself the truth.

The basis of my argument is;
The core North will be the decider in the next election. Since votes will be majorly shared between BAT & LP in Southern Nigeria ( Although LP will have far more bigger numbers due to SE/SS), whosever the core North throw their weight on will emerge winner.

An Obi/Kwankwanso ticket would have put LP in clear lead, but man refused to cooperate.
You’re getting carried away by apc nairaland propagandists who will have you believe all Yorubas worship at tinubu feet. Everybody knows nairaland is the headquarters of tinubu sw supporters.
You watch a video of Yoruba saying they will vote for tinubu, did you not also watch videos in that same osun state of people tearing apart tinubu posters?
I’m a Yoruba and I’m telling you exactly what’s obtaineable in sw right now.
Do you know how much people celebrate adeleke victory here in ogun state?
I’m not supporting Atiku oo but believe me Atiku will easily get more than 25 percent in sw due to loyalty of pdp supporters.
In my own circle for example there’s no tinubu voter most are for Peter obi or Atiku in fact some are saying since obi might not win, they will give it to Atiku sef because they don’t want to waste their votes.
In Sw,nobody is winning with a big margin and you can come back to this post in February.
As for your second paragraph i agree it’s obvious whoever the north gives majority of its vote will win.
Politics / Re: Tinubu Know What He Is Doing by Oladeji245(m): 8:30am On Jul 20, 2022
Efewestern:

PDP 40% from a region where the party only controls two state and has less stake?

You aren't realistic bro, but well, till then.
I’m a Yoruba too.
The guy is actually right. In Sw,there’s no real dominant party in that sense. For example if pdp had presented segun oni in Ekiti state plus the already sentiment against apc, they would have won.
In the next governorship elections, watch out for one of ogun and ondo state. I will be shock if both are won by apc.
Tribal politics is not really a thing in sw otherwise both atiku and Peter obi will not have been popular here.
Most youths I have spoken to either Muslims or Christians are for Peter obi. While virtually all the pdp supporters I have interacted with are for Atiku.
As for his Atiku claim,I will say maybe about 35 percent and and that’s due to emergence of Peter obi who will share the rest with tinubu though I expect tinubu to get more.
This means Sw will not give block votes and no one is winning sw with any big margin.
Unfortunately for Tinubu, there’s nothing you tell an average liberal Yoruba man that will ever make them vote for him or even being an option for them, that’s how much they hate him.
And with this Muslim Muslim ticket baggage now added, good luck to tinubu in sw

Anyways, they have outlived their importance. They were instrumental in PDP tsunami in the west in 2003. Tinubu managed to see the trick and avoided the trap. He managed to retain Lagos and built the party better to reclaim the region. Afenifere could have sold out the future of everyone for their pot of porridge. Bunch of useless old men.
Tinubu supporters always abuse any Yoruba not supporting the crook..
Yet the same people will cry when tinubu is attacked about how Yorubas are omoluabi and respect elders..yet this hideous foool just attacked a 90 year old man.

Currently now, yes it won't be easy for you without good travel experience, unless you have a strong reason with strong evidence to convince the VO why you want to travel.

If you are traveling as a tourist without prior travel experience, forget it.

If you are traveling as a student with good sponsorship and academic background, you stand a great chance.

If you are traveling as an immigrant going to meet his or her spouse, yours is over sure, nothing concern you with travel experience.

If you are traveling for business...then you ought to have good travel experience.
