I have been a critic of Tinubu and other SW leaders from onset but I am smart enough to identify external attack and political crusade.

Peter Obi was governor in Anambra during the Nwafor saga but Anambra people and Igbos till today don't discuss him or castigate him like they do to Tinubu who is not the governor or an elected political office holder yet they claim he gave order to Army to shoot protesters and people like you believed that, running here and there to kill Tinubu.

You see that you're not in any way smart?
tinubu handiwork is killing him...there's palpable anger, pain and sorrow in Sw as we speak stemming from tinubu playing a role in buhari emergence.. and the fact that half of the governors in Sw presently or in the past were imposed by him, however despite all their deluded omoluabi talk, they have been a failure to the people...
and Sw is equally divide BTW d conservative and the leftists who are sick and tired of tinubu's influence...
does peter obi has d same level of influence as tinubu ,or is tinubu d only politician in Sw?
baba obj gave interview, why didn't thugs go attack him and burn his investment down..the much maligned bode George sef dey there..thugs no near him.
the burning of properties and all is condemnable but not compared to the daily frustrations people go through in SW.
price of one Kongo of rice is 1200, garri is 350 and u think people will not attack a man perceived to be corrupt and behind the elected officials who has brought nothing but suffering.
tinubu fight is his alone, don't use yorubas to fight a useless proxy war, tinubu war is not Yoruba war pls

The aridin here is you, we know how you outsiders create monikers with Yoruba names to push your agenda and let me tell you now that you all have failed.

You have successfully burnt down TVC, LTV, The Nation, NPA, GTBank, BRT buses and many others paying tax to Lagos government. What next??

You think destroying Lagos that is not Federal Capital will do you any good or help you actualize your biafra? You are not smart in any way.
if u have spoken like this and raise your voice against numerance misgovernance in Sw,especially by apc governors,I would have taken u serious

was your voice loud like this when pensioners were beaten for protesting in osun state and civil servants were denied salaries or paid half salary?
but when it come to tinubu matter, asunus like u will not let us hear word

Now they want YORUBA to RONU...

They are asking why TV stations like AIT, Channels, Arise TV and STV were not attacked.
They are saying TVC was attacked because it is owned by a Yoruba man.
What a stupid narrative.

Like I have maintained, I don't support destruction of properties and I am also against killing of defenceless Nigerians.
However, instead of this nonsensical ethnic sentiments they are trying to whip up, methinks these people should rather blame those soldiers who went to Lekki to shoot at protesters and those who sent them.

They should blame those who switched off the light and CCTV cameras at Lekki Toll Gate before the soldiers carried out that barbaric act.
They should show empathy for the loss of lives and consider the injured who are still in the hospital.
They should face reality and accept the fact that TVC was not attacked because it is owned by a Yoruba man.
Apart from TVC, there are other major TV stations in Lagos owned by Yoruba persons.
Like AIT, Channels, Arise TV and STV, these other stations are on DSTV and are doing well. Why were they not attacked too?
1. MITV is owned by Muri Gbadeyanka.
2. Galaxy TV is owned by Steve Ojo.
3. Plus TV is owned by Kayode Akintemi.
3. ONTV is owned by Tajudeen Adepetu

Were all these stations attacked?
Yesterday too, The Nation newspaper was attacked.
Why were PUNCH and TRIBUNE offices not attacked? Or Punch and Tribune are not owned by Yoruba persons again?
Methinks those who have incurred the anger of the people should rather admit and seek forgiveness instead of whipping up ethnic sentiments that will cause further problems.
That your YORUBA RONU narrative won't work this time.
You people did not ask Yoruba to Ronu when your Tinubu was spearheading election rigging against fellow Yoruba sons and daughters in Ekiti and Osun States in 2018.
You did not ask Yoruba to Ronu when in 2011, your Tinubu opted for Tambuwal from Sokoto State as Speaker of the House of Reps instead of Mulikat Adeola Akande from Oyo State.
Asking Yoruba to Ronu now that the personal political interest of your Tinubu is affected is a waste of time because as for me and my family, we are not interested in your political YORUBA RONU.
My name is Lere Olayinka and I'm here on top of Oke Agbonna in Okemesi Ekiti, having a very important meeting with the Irunmales. You can come and join me if you wish

At least the Tinubu haters achieved something, destroyed his investments and made attempts on his life. Same thing they did in Oba Akiolu's palace under guise of ENDSARS.

If at the end of the day, it is discovered that the Lekki killings are just lies to perpetrate this crime on South West, then I'm afraid the numerous Igbo broadcasters and that DJ Switch have a lot of questions to answer and risk very long jail term.

You'll never see an Hausa join force with other ethinicities to attack their politicians like El Rufai, Ganduje etc. but Yorubas are just too open to attacks from anywhere. I witnessed the protest in Abuja when the Hausas faced the Igbos and the whole thing died down like that but Yorubas were the ones leading them to places they will destroy. Who do us this thing for God sake?
another aridin.

The way I see people defend tinubu here on nairaland baffles me alot. It sounding like there are no Lagos indigenous people on nairaland. These people has kicked us out and cornered the Lagos wealth to themselves. Ive always blame it on the Lagos island people because the badagry and epe people don't see tinubu as the God of Lagos like people do say. I'm happy the Lagos island youth stood against the bad people maltreating them. Let's start a new Lagos that would benefit everyone .

Eko akete ilu ogbon . oba wa ema ba ilu eko je.

Lagos still remains the Landlord in Nigeria. I have to register new account since my main acct I still serving ban.

So you selfishly ignored the pain of the natives to defend tinubu. Stop telling me what others do to their region. We are omoluabis , if the east and north keeps bad politicians we can't do the same here. We'll chase dem out, that's why we are educated. Some one is robbing me in my state and you're telling me because some people don't attack their corrupt politicians I should also do the same undecided
How does that sound to you?
Since you think tinubu is Lagos. We'll continue to prove to you that Lagos natives are The real lagosians. We are not invisible, why are prominent Lagos natives billionaire not attracted? Folorunsho alakija, femi otedola why is the oba of badagry not attacked?
Local government at ibeju lekki attacked but the obas were not. The indigenous people knows those that hurt them badly. Stop turning tinubu woes to our problem Mr man

For the Yorubas, they are urging you to destroy Tinubu's properties in Yoruba land, they have not destroyed those of Atiku, Orji Kalu, Peter Obi, Abacha, Ibori, Alamiesigha, Danjuma, Odili, Igbinedion Kwankwaso, Saraki, Audu in their areas.

The earlier the Yorubas know this is an attempt to break and destroy them, the better for them.
Besides, they only started with alleged Tinubu's properties, no they are burning down all revenue yielding assets in Yoruba land and the president is quiet.

The IBOS did not attack their leaders but we are here shouting and allowed the IBOS to hijacked it from our peaceful protest to what they now use to attack our Obas and leaders

My Yoruba folks, time to use your head.

ipob miscreants are guilty of the above.

Arise television actually interviewed some of the people burning Ikoyi link bridge yesterday while they were still burning it.

Well, I understand what they meant by saying we're burning our lands.

But the thing is, Those leaders must have sense by force. We all know insurance covers it nah.

Moreso, things will go up quickly very soon as goods are unable to leave Lagos state.
abi..nice of you to put this thread..
imagining believing non Yoruba can have the audacity to go and attack a Yoruba mornach palace for example?
some yorubas supporters of Tinubu are truly deluded..
those burning properties are fellow yorubas not igbos and that's d fact.

Well, y'all know very well how I've Been against some Igbos here.

But those burning Lagos and assets are also Yorubas.

We all know very well that we have equal numbers of Apc and PDP in Yorubas.

So we have many Pro tinubu and anti Tinubu as well.
We shouldn't blame East actually, but our yoruba leaders that refuses to do their homework.

My only prayer is that, the destruction in Lagos should die down quickly so as not to spread to other Yorubaland, if not.

There will be unrest in the west, it has happened before.

Actually, in my own view, I support the burning of them assets, (after all insurance covers it) and they'll use our money to rebuild it again, (we didn't see any impact on us before).

Reason why I supported it, the positive side will make our Yoruba leaders to sit tight and know that the youths are not to be used for ludo games.

But enough of destruction of properties, so as not to escalates to other parts of Yorubaland, esp (Ibadan, Oyo state and Osun State), the outcome will be bad.

at least we finally agreed on something..
some fools calling me names on legendhero thread for saying same thing..
