Stop Waiting for Perfect Conditions!!!

Too many of us stand on the dock waiting. We want the ship in place, the gangplank perfectly positioned, the weather right, and an engraved invitation before we’re willing to launch out. It will never happen! Dreams don’t move toward us, we have to move toward them.

One author writes: ‘Its time to quit waiting for perfection, inspiration, permission, reassurance, someone to change, the right person to come along, the kids to leave home, the new administration to take over, an absence of risk, someone to discover you, a clear set of instructions, more self-confidence, or the pain to go away.

Instead of saying, ‘We’ve never done it before’, say ‘We have the opportunity to be first’, Instead of saying, ‘We don’t have the resources’, say, ‘Necessity fuels invention’. Instead of saying, ‘There’s not enough time’, say, ‘We’ll change how we work’. Instead of saying, ‘We’ve already tried that’, say, ‘We learn from experience’. Instead of saying, ‘Our vendors and customers won’t go for it’, say, ‘Let’s show them the opportunities’. Instead of saying, ‘We don’t have enough money’, say, ‘Maybe there’s something we can cut’. Instead of saying, ‘We’re understaffed’, say, ‘We’re a lean, hungry team’. Instead of saying, ‘It’ll never get any better’, say, ‘We’ll try one more time’. Instead of saying, ’Let somebody else deal with it, say, ‘I’m ready to learn something new’. Instead of saying, ‘Its not my job’, say, ‘I’ll be glad to take the responsibility’. Instead of saying, ‘I can’t, say, ‘By God’s grace I Can!’

PoliticsHas GEJ Deactivated His Facebook Page? by olaedo3087(op): 10:37pm On Aug 24, 2012
I'm a fan of GEJ like most other fcbk users in Nigeria. I (dunno about u) miss his attires, numerous fans 'likes' n comments few minutes after an update.

These are Mr. Presidents words:

"For one, I would say I was motivated in no little way by President Barack Obama of the United States. His novel use of social media network, especially facebook, starting from during his presidential campaign, has stimulated new thinking on participatory governance across the world."

"I am impressed with the growing followership. I understand I am the President with most facebook fans in the world after US President Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy."

I miss Mr. President's fcbk updates. Do you?

@fizofly, kindly avail me any useful info as regards chemicals n stuffs. blessed.onuoha@gmail.com THANKS n GOD BLESS U!

fizofly: I am impressed with you trying to start up your own business early.

Well as for for wuestion, I do the Airfreshner production for cars (danglers) those ones used to promote a particular brand that are usually hung on the inner mirrow.

I don't do the liquid typefor houses and offices.

But the little I can tell you is that what will rather determin the success of such a business in the Finished product and your marketing and sales strength.

The business like any other is highly competitive, but with perseverance and hardwork you sure can break grounds.

I am a young female graduate of Physics and have just completed d mandatory NYSC programme dis month of June 2012. I wish to venture into entreprenuership rather than waste time looking for non existent jobs. I came up with the idea of producing air freshener for cars, offices and houses but I'm TOTALLY blunt as regards d techniques and procedures. I humbly seek for d ABC of dis biz from fellow honorable nairalanders. Thanks in anticipation of positive responses.
EducationRe: Jonathan: 60% Of Varsity Dons Without Ph.D by olaedo3087(f): 7:16pm On May 25, 2012
Change is the only permanent thing in life! Ph.Ds are good but Ph Do's are better. The only way to win the race of life is to learn to keep pace with change. Those who resist change lose charge. The school system has merely equippd us to deal with a world that no longer exists. A recent Harvard Business article posits that the school system couldn't cope with the pace at which knowledge is multiplying through hi-tech advances. Mr. President Sir, with all due respect, infrastructural dev is the solution to our plight not impracticable theories learnt in PG schools.
