DIKEnaWAR: Please, pardon me if my reply is not explanatory enough. I read the book just once and the very days i read it is something I can't remember. Just to tell you how far it's. Know it well the novel is a tragedy in which we learn to understand what kills great men. Ezeulu, you mentioned is a great man, no doubt. But I think his ultimate reason for not eating those yams is to punish the people. I can remember I read it the elders saying they will take the punishment on their heads. Ezeulu only used the god as a coverup. When the people realize their yam will perish make them to follow the new religion, which is Christianity. I would have given a good picture of the whole thing but I have forgotten most characters and events in the book. To worsen the matter, a friend of mine had taken it away. 1 Like 2 Shares |

You will be a good Poet, only if you can keep writing and read other's poem. Correction no 1. put full stop at the end of each stanza of the poem - I mean the second poem. Also, there's difference between silence and silent and the the difference is (the former is a noun and the latter is a verb) Tick! Tick!! Tick!!! In the silence*** We could hear (it's advisable you use "can" instead of "could". You know why? You are writing in present tense and you need to follow sentence sequence. To your first poem, it's nice and okay but your punctuations are faulty. Infact stand up everybody(!). Nevertheless, thumbs up, you aren't bad. Keep it up! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Prescott001: You kidding? Do you say if I get to the school compound today, police go arrest me? I have spent a week in the post graduate hall once and no one challenged me. The fact is you won't attend lectures or involve in things that does not concern you. BTW; we can swap names only if there's 100% you haven't committed any illegal act and also your name Must be easy to spell. 1 Like 1 Share |

There's hardly a semester oau won't extend its calendar... Know why? The fire of aluta burning in the school. All those saying LASU, OSU etc don't really know what OAU' SU is up to. LASU and the rest only appear probably when there's increase in their fee but for oau, if light off, poor water facility, etc, the union never made mistake of keeping quiet. Wait oh, oau still have union? |

I knew this year jamb would be a trash right from the beginning of its registration. When there's shortage of centres that no single centre was available in South West. When Jamb started sending multiple results. When the centres were not good enough to be a cyber café tack less of examination centre. When some candidates are yet to see their results. Since the moment candidates complain of poor results. Now over half a million candidate will need to rewrite\just about to write the exam. Hit like if you agree with me. |

I consider it a must to give you peep Some words of advice. Firstly, you must know you can't write OAU's post utme if you score below 200 in jamb. Also, one of the best way to score better in the post utme is working on the school past questions. I think that should be between #700 and #1000. Doing that will make you familiar with the way the school conduct the exam and also, many questions will be repeated. This doesn't mean you should cram the questions and answers. Just make sure you finish the whole four subjects. Moreover, know it well that it is infeasible to finish oau post utme because the speculated time is always not enough. You have just 1hr, 15 min for the exam which equivalents that you have just 75 seconds to answer each questions. Hardly do we see people who finish it but that's nothing. Just make sure the ones you know are well shaded. Forget about crosschecking in an exam like this. Secondly, OAU doesn't joke with combination. Make sure you check this recent brochure, I mean the soft ware jamb gave you, better still, use online brochure like myschoolgist.com or check the school website. You can as well check the cut off for last year so you can know your stand in line with your present jamb score. If you are too far to the cut off, you can go for change of course. You guys should try and create a Whatapp group so you can have easy exchange of ideas and information. Wish you best in your post jamb. I might not visit this thread again, you can try and quote it in every new page for those that will just be coming in. 2 Likes |
