Dent like what please?

Is it that most Nigerians have criminal mindset or what? So, they assume that everyone is like them — cutting corners.

I could remember that people here advised using a foreign name and ip address to open an Upwork or Fiverr profile. I'm glad I went against that advice and used my real name and address, and I never lacked orders — in fact, I get more others than I can fulfill.

Currently looking for helping hands.

The fact that the person I was considering was surprised that I have a Nigerian Upwork account buttresses my point about cutting corners.

Fat Guys normally get slug like body, no matter how hard you punch, that mass of fat no dey let blows go through, Joshua would need something extra to win this guy!
Then AJ needs to target Andy's face much more than his body. Heck! AJ is taller... He has a longer reach.. He ought to use that to his advantage.
This is what Lennox Lewis used against Iron Mike Tyson. He was way taller than Tyson and longer arms. He never allowed Tyson to come close enough to throw his 50kg right-hand hook, but kept the champion at a good distance by decking him with his long arms.
That is what AJ should have done.. But the fight was fixed... What do I know, sef?

I'm a Christian and the church has lost it these days. We are in the end time. Is it bad if scholarships are given to poor church member's children into these schools?

If you are admitting 2000 students, and you give 800 students from the church scholarships, no on would complain that the rest are paying 500k.

But when members cannot afford the school fees, I wonder who is fooling who.
Who says Bishop Oyedepo does not offer scholarships? Do your findings before mouthing off, dearie...

Hi...this is for @ jnrbayano too
I think it's ?Yvonne Maha
If I am right, it is cos I had a girl crush on her! cheesy
I wanted to be her...with her afro and squeaky way of saying "gini ka I na eme oge ncha!?"
Lol

I also wanted to be that girl with Michael Jackson in "Thriller"...and that girl in that great "Belinda" song by an unknown singer
Sorry for derailing @ naptu2

(Modified) Oh...there is Chichi of Africa too
Well...I could have sworn it was by Yvonne, cos her songs were in a series, and the videos would play one after the other on NTA...but I bow to your knowledge...cheers
YES!!! BELINDA!! WHO WAS THAT GUY, BY THE WAY? HE LOOKED AND DANCED A BIT LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON, TOO!! IN FACT, THOSE DAY, IT WAS SAID THAT MICHAEL JACKSON WAS SUPPOSED TO PERFORM THE SONG, BUT HE WAS LATE, AND THE CAMERA GUYS WANTED TO PACK UP. SO THE GUY VOLUNTEERED TO DO THE SONG, AND KILLED IT. IT WAS SAID THAT MICHAEL JACKSON GOT FURIOUS AND SHOT THE GUY, BUT WAS NEVER CONVICTED! #HausaTalesByMoonlight

I loooove Mike Okri especially "Omoge" dieeee kiss
Thank you!!!

I share your sentiments about not knowing most of the songs...
I am not too young to know them, however I cannot carry a tune to save my life...I love music as I hear it, after which it disappears...then when I try to sing it, I just crack up people around me. SMH
However, without knowing the lyrics, some stay and light up my life..,I love Yoruba Fuji music, my dad used to play a lot of them in his car...all the time...and I was his handbag...I used to go hunting with him...and he played mad music after a good hunt. I would run out and carry the guinea fowls. Jeez. Nostalgia

I love Ozoemena Nwa Nsugbe....did he sing "onye a gbana oso na olue nu na omume"?
That song is one of my best songs in the world....the story fascinated and tormented me at once, while I would be ensconed safely in my father's car as usual cheesy. That song has to be my best Nigerian song...sad, soulful, melodious, lyrical, all at once

Then I love Lagbaja...to pieces..and Fela's Palaver...and Bright Chimezie's song that has, "Ogechukwu nwannem, nekwa......office m di na Legosi oo, madam ebezina" cool
I am soo sorry but Osita Osadebe's songs makes me wanna climb walls, or throw things (hides)
I have never been able to appreciate them...but I am sure the fault lies with me

Sorry for the parrot-ness!
Cheers

Beautiful topic @ naptu2 cool

"Time Na Money" I believe Mike Okri sang that right??

What about "Rhumba Dance"? Evi-Edna Ogholi songs...Yvonne Chaka Chaka (oops! I think she's South African, along with The late Brenda Fassie and the late Miriam Makebba).

The "Bala Milla Show" used to reign, too...Mamman Shatta..Dan Maraya Jos (both of them are late. Mamman Shatta was a die-hard smoker)...hmmmm

CelebritiesRe: Nollywood Stars Pay Tributes To Bunor by olaleke2(m): 9:34pm On May 03, 2015
liljboy:
Colleagues of Nollywood veteran actor, Peter Bunor, on Saturday paid glowing tributes to him, describing his death as an irreplaceable loss to the movie industry and the nation at large.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the son of the deceased, Bunor Jnr, had on Friday posted on his Facebook page: “ In the early hours of today, my father, friend, teacher, confidant passed on.’’

NAN also reports that the late actor died in Asaba, the Delta capital.

Bunor, who suffered a stroke some years ago, was said to have complained about neglect by his colleagues.

Hanks Anuku, an actor, described the deceased as a man who would be remembered for his unquenchable energy and one who “ exudes the demeanor of last man standing.’’

“Everyone who knew him can attest to the fact that he carried within him an undying urge toward selflessness.

“ He made himself readily available and good to go no matter the situation.

“ We will miss him greatly; I pray that Nollywood will ever remain the same with his indefinite absence,’’ he said.

Another Nollywood actor, Miss Sarah Lilian, told NAN that Bunor was one of the industry’s patriarchs and pioneers.

Lilian said his death would create a great vacuum in the movie community.

“Though Peter Bunor has been absent from the scene for a while before his death, we must give it to him even in death.

“ He was a great actor, father and a good role interpreter and most of us benefitted from his wealth of experience,’’ she said.

But Hamida Suleiman, an actress, expressed disappointment at the attitude of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

The actress, who accused the guild of abandoning members whenever they had challenges, said: “ Here we go again, what is really happening to Nollywood stars?

“ Now my heart goes out to the family. I am very disappointed at the Actors Guild of Nigeria for not giving adequate care to members suffering from one health challenge or the other.

“ It is not enough to come out with candles every time, most deaths would not have occurred if we knew what to do on time.

“We need to sit up and see how we can address the challenges of members, especially health wise.

“ Rest in peace, Peter Bunor.”

Bunor had appeared in many soaps such as Cock Crow at Dawn, Memorial Hospital and Checkmate as well as numerous movies such as Living in Bondage.

He is survived by his children and grand children. (NAN)

pijango:
In a gruesome case of cold blooded murder, a Nigerian ,Terry Agaga, was brutally murdered in Padova, Italy. According to Italian media, the 34 year old was killed over a woman in a black club ‘Le Parisien’ popularly called ‘Port Harcourt club’ by Nigerians.

According to eye witness, Terry, who got his Italian residence permit of stay in Sept 2014, got killed because of an argument over a girl.He was said to have fallen inlove with a girl whose previous boyfriend is a cultist. The ex-boyfriend was enraged for losing his girl to Terry .

When the scorned boyfriend met Terry at a club, they were involved in a physical fight and he ended up being stabbed to death with a machete. The Italian police are still investigating the killing of Terry and three Nigerians have been arrested so far.

AdvertsRe: How I Made My First #100,000 In Nigeria In Less Than A Month by olaleke2(m): 5:47am On Apr 30, 2015
sesanjoel:
A lot of Nigerians has searched in one way or the order on how to earn a living in Nigeria (make good money) because of the lack of job opportunity in the country, and I’ve been in that position before until I was able to make a way out for myself with the help of God. After a long search in the internet trying and failing, wasting much money, I found a genuine and legitimate way of making money in Nigeria.
Let me go straight to the point. i started this business making nothing less than #100,000 in less than a month. Now I make close to about #150,000 in a month. The little secrete is this, I found a place online where there are millions of employers looking for individuals to do some jobs for them. These jobs include writing articles and essay on various topics. For their adverts, website or blog. A 500 word essay goes for about $10 dollars and you can do this in less than an hour simply by copying from Google. And I write up to 5 a day, that is 5 x $10= $50 in a day. Approximately #10,000 in Nigeria. Multiply by 30 days in a month. Imagine how much I make from this business. I get my cash paid directly to my bank account here in Nigeria. The most important thing is you don’t need any cash to start this business.
Therefore I have spent the last 10 months putting these A-Z steeps together on an E-book to save you your time, money and from stress searching for how to make it in Nigeria. It all depends on your determination to work. For this reason I am giving out this guide For the first 15 persons. For those who are interested, inbox me for negotiation popoolajoel4@gmail.com . I am also willing to give special teaching to these persons. For those who also have any question, you can also inbox me on popoolajoel4@gmail.com or call me on 08131876569.
